Room was well presented, spacious. Good bathroom amenities. Was surprised to see slippers and toothbrush/toothpaste provided. Plenty of towels. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Accommodated my request for high floor and quiet room. Love the quilt on the beds. Great location, literally 1 block from Chinatown. Lots of places to eat nearby. Despite being on a busy street, hotel must have excellent sound proofing. Once inside, was like in another world. Couldn't hear any city noises

Shower floor and grout could benefit from a more thorough clean or replacement. Bed a little hard for my liking.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff was super-nice and helpful at the front desk, in the cafe, and in the restaurant. We were always greeted with smiles. The breakfast buffet was yummy, and varied enough each day to keep it interesting. The location is in Chinatown, so everything is nearby. We would happily stay here again.

The staff doesn't respond to messages sent through Booking.com very quickly. I'm still waiting to hear back on a credit card charge I'm questioning.

Great location in Chinatown. Nice pool with plenty of loungers in the shade. Very friendly staff. I was upgraded to a city view, and it was spectacular, especially at night with all the towers lit up. I stayed for 7 nights and didn't visit any of the dining options.

The room doors close very loudly, and you can hear them in bed all night; not the best if you're a light sleeper. Just a small thing, but the toilet seat was not aligned, and it was awkward at times. And lastly, not the hotel's fault but my upstairs neighbour was heard walking (stopping) around all day and night. One morning at 4am was quite noticeable.

Received free upgrade to the side of the building with the nicest views and free late checkout to 2 pm. Very comfortable beds, spacious room, good AC, extra water bottles and toilet items provided on request. Great location, walking distance to a wide range of restaurants and the atmospheric Chinatown neighbourhood. View from the swimming pool to the KL skyline is wonderful!

Shower area in the room, as so often in this climate, was not completely free of mould, but it was reasonable. The changing area at the swimming pool was more affected, decided to make minimal possible use of it.

The hotel offers a good standard. Breakfast was very varied, recommendable. Rooms are good, some walls need painting, but absolutely good for the stay. The Chinese quarter is lively. Just opposite the hotel is PS-150, an interesting bar. If travelling by plane from the airport, I recommend taking the AirPort Express. The journey to KL Sentral takes only 30 minutes. From the station, either order a Grab taxi or take the metro. It is only one stop to the hotel.

The hotel is situated next to Kuala Lumpur Chinatown district. There are many great restaurants very close to the hotel (e.g. we loved Hungry Tapir and Chocha Foodstore); Petaling Street Market is just up the street (5 minutes by foot). We also used public transport; the closest station is Pasar Seni (also 5 minute by foot) that connects you with KL Sentral as well as KLCC Park. You can even walk to Merdeka Square along the Klang river pedestrian walkways (approx. 20-30 minutes). Our room was situated at level 15. The room's floor plan and design matched the pictures advertised. On one side there was a floor to ceiling window through which one could view the Merdeka Tower, as well as the KL Tower and Petronas Towers in the distance. The view especially at night was fantastic. The kingsize bed was super cosy and comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well and had an Eco Mode that was very quiet and did not disturb our sleep. There is a mosque close by but you hear little through the sound proof windows. The bathroom was of good size with a walk-in modern shower. We did like the pool at level 4 that offers great views of the Merdeka Tower. There were not so many people using the pool, so it never felt crowded. We also spent one evening on the terrace next to the pool drinking cocktails and watching the sunset. The breakfast is served in Quan's Kitchen; it offers a reat variety of western and Asian hot and cold food. There were several options for vegetarians. Quan's staff was super warm, friendly and helpful.

- We would have appreciated a bit more closset space. - The closing of the doors of the rooms near by is very loud which disturbed our sleep during some of the nights. - We did feel the staff of Jann's Bar did lack in terms of service and knowledge of the drinks offered (e.g. craft beers). The cocktails did not meet our expectations and were rather expensive.

Perfect location for food and drinks as well as exploring a cool part of KL. The hotel itself is also great, clean rooms, beautifully done and heaps of space. We also had beautiful views of the city including Petronas towers in the distance and merdeka 118 up close. Also really comfy rooms.

The bathroom had a funky/mouldy smell after showering. The bathroom was clean but something in the drains made it smell and it wasnt nice at all. We asked to move rooms and they did so, so staff were helpful to rectify the issue. It was a little shame though as they had initially upgraded us and then when we moved the room was the original one we booked, still great nonetheless and no smell.

The location of the facility, and it's conveniences to the surrounding amenities. Rooms were very clean, and staffs' are friendly. We especially like the overall decoration of the room, with a special wall mural that highlights the history and location to where the hotel is located - Chinatown, KL. Bedding was clean, and comfortable. Water pressure was great and we had a good relaxing time. Surrounding amenities, and food choices were great too - with Ho Kow Kopitiam, Pik Wah Bar and Cafe, and also Purple Cane Teahouse, some of our favorites during our recent visit. All these, including Central Market are all within walking distances. Finally, its location, a walking distance from the MRT Pasar Seni station is just super good, linking us to all over KL and Petaling.

The corridors along the bedrooms were rather stuffy. Would have been good if there are better air flow along these corridors, as once we left the room, as we walk towards the elevators, we felt almost being suffocated. Also, the hair dryer in the room was not functioning properly - it cannot hold its position when it is unfolded.

Hotel had gluten free breakfast options and could make additional items on request. Chefs came out to speak to us about what was safe and the manager looked after us at each breakfast with anything we needed. They even had gluten free bread and 'muffins' (def gf as quite solid and dry) safely wrapped in plastic available for breakfast. There were also gluten free options for room service and the kitchen was able to accommodate modifications to the fried rice to suit fussy gluten free kids. Safely ate satay and sayur lodeh for the first time in years. La Gula on the ground floor of the hotel also has gluten free options, including ice-cream, in gluten free waffle cones, shoestring fries and a very good vegan Caesar salad. Was so nice to be able to eat out on a holiday and not get sick.

The carpet of our room could do with a deep clean.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, accommodating and very professional. We loved the spacious room and the view we had. Everything was clean and felt fresh. The location right at the edge of Chinatown is great. Will definitely stay there again when in KL.
