If you do not expect that everything is perfect right from the start,this is in fact a pleasant,very cheap city center refuge.

Cat allergy might be a problem

Linda was very friendly and helpful to specific requests. There was only 1 power socket in the room for 3 people, but I paid a deposit for an adapter and returned it when I left so that was fine! The large common room with drinks and food preparation was appreciated. The roof terrace was lovely with great views of the city , although see feedback below. The room , bathrooms and whole place generally was clean and a lot cleaner than expected, given the high usage. Thank you!

The stairs to the roof and the roof itself is unlit and there are no fans or air conditioning. This meant it was either too hot to use, or dangerous and slippery when raining. Especially the unlit and wet stairs are especially dangerous, and I nearly fell 3 times. I did feedback this back to Linda, and she said she would put lights or lamps on the stairs

You won't find better value for money in KL! Right in the centre of Chinatown with loads of restaurants/bars/streetfood. Lovely roof terrace with amazing view of KL. Clean kitchen to cook in. Most of all the staff are amazing: Linda rescues the cats of KL so there are beautiful cats wandering around the hostal, ready for cuddles. She works tirelessly to make sure that everything is kept clean and tidy. The rooms are small and basic but perfectly functional and clean. The toilet/shower is a lot bigger than others we have seen and clean. And given the amazing price, everything is such value for money. The people are wonderful here and we ended up having an impromptu karaoke with the staff who are musicians/singers. Thanks guys for such a lovely stay, we highly recommend!

I felt bad for the first day, but get used to it in few days later. All facilities is there.. it's just feel like an old folks home, and yet it's very safe. Just don't bother the staff too much, don't expect the price what you get, just sleep there for your safety and respect their facility because that's all you can get to use. Do not trying to dominate or remove the wall fan without permission. It's unlike any other hotel, just be happy because you're lucky to be there.😊

I tried to extend for a week before 24hours, but I wasn't allowed to do that since someone already booked. 1 room mate guy are selfish and never share the fan for a newbie like me because he keep wore the earphone and used the fan all by himself. The weather in room condition, It feels like staying in dubai hotel.

great location of the hostel. Room just like in the photos, no surprises. Also appreciated the roof top with a beautiful view. What made our experience fantastic was the staff, Amir and Kim, they gave us lots of useful advice, and are always available. I highly recommend this structure.

All points goes to location in the heart of china town. Petaling street is on few seconds distance. Main Railway station of Pasar seni and bus stop close to100m, I may pick LRT,MRT, KTM Trains and buses for anywhere to KL from there. Also very cheap as compared to it's location Ideal for budget saving travellers

Irresponsible people smoking in the toilet or common area, causing the smoke to flow into each room. Very smelly and smoky. Cannot breathe. Room becomes very hot at night even after turning the fan to max power. Price is not cheap for this kind of facilities.

Perfect location. Amir (the owner) was very kind and helpful, he gave us tips for local restaurants and cheaper transportation to the airport. The hotel is really simple, so do not expect more for the price that you are paying.Ideal for low budget backpackers. I would come back again
