I have stayed at Travel Hub guesthouse many times over the years and while the reception and first floor area changes the funadmentals don't. It is a great place to stay and well run by very friendly and professional staff - particularly the rather friendly gentleman from Shlah Alam. The location is incredibly excellent and only a 5 min walk from the LRT Pasar Seni in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's China Town.

Some people may not like the fact that the guesthouse appears to be a place where a lot of local workers in the food and beverage industry tend to stay but I like that aspect as these are the very people who will give you the low down on the local area of where to go and what to eat and are respectful to temporary stayers.

It is centrally located, hot water is available in the bathroom. The kitchen includes a kettle and microwave. Cleanliness is very good throughout the hostel. There is a locker to put your belongings. You have to bring the lock yourself.

There is no cooker in the kitchen for cooking.

It is a short distance away from important landmarks around the Chinatown. You can get to Pasar Seni within minutes and access buses and trains from there to many main destinations in Kuala Lumpur. The staff were friendly, especially the gentleman with the tattoos and glasses. He would help and give you some top tips and ask how your day's been. Very friendly. I stayed in the mixed dormitory room. It's always a good idea to bring a padlock with you as there were lockers for you to store your stuff. The air conditioner worked pretty well and it was relatively quiet. I slept well. The bed was clean, no bedbugs. One of the highlights was the bar at the rooftop. It was so cool. I loved the vibe. You could enjoy a wide range of drinks from beer, cocktails, local tuak for one or two, or even more if you want. Cool spot to spend time after a long adventure during the day.

One of the showers did not work so I went to another one. Unfortunately the soap dispenser was empty. However, it won't be a problem if you bring your own toiletries.

Perfect location. Comfortable bed in a spacious room. Nice dining area. Overall satisfied.

People smoking in the hallway was a bit dissapointing. Luckily the smell did not get in to the room.

Travel Hub Kuala Lumpur is undoubtedly a gem in the heart of the city. With its prime location, accessing major attractions is a breeze, making it perfect for travelers who prioritize convenience. Not only is the establishment safe and secure, but it's the incredible staff that truly sets this place apart. Every interaction feels warm, making you feel right at home. Wifi is fast as well. A special shoutout to Malik - his unmatched knowledge of local food spots added an unexpected gastronomic adventure to our trip. It's not an exaggeration to say that this is the best place I've ever stayed, and I eagerly anticipate my return. Highly recommended.

My stay was very short. Wish it could've been longer.

It’s a good value for the money, very close to the train station and to china town. You’ll find multiples cafes around. The hosts are very helpful and kind. The rooms are cute and bed comfy, there is a big living room to meet travelers or work on your computer, many book exchanges too. There was hot shower, not so much but ok.

The AC in the room was working but dripping water :/ it’s working O.K but made the room and some clothes quite wet, also not too safe I would say.. I guess it was just our room tho

Staff - Mr.Cameron was the receptionist and he did a fine job accomodating me professionally. Friendly too. Room - was okay. Bed is what you expect from most hostel style. Clean and tidy. Vibe & people - most of them are friendly. Really remind me that as a traveller, we are ought to be easy going and make conversation a lot. Kitchen - free water to drink ! Coway okay. Accessibilities - elevator to the upper floor exist! Location - great; mrt and bus is close by

Toilet & shower room - small and bit dirt looking. Maybe because its old. Kitchen - crowded all time and messy Room - really dark even at noon after lights are turn on. No curtains. - if you are unlucky like me, you will get top bunk and have lower bunk mate who in my case; makes lot kicking and thumping noise, even at 2 am, alarm clocks early as heck and casually answering the call on his bed knowing others are sleeping 🤦 Location - nearby food are expensive

Second time I have stayed here and plan to stay again at the end of my travels. Look no further ticks every box. Lovely staff,clean,comfortable excellent location and a shor walking distance from bus station and metro stops Pasar Seni and Kula lumpur. Great eateries, 7-11,Chinatown and Hindu temple all close by.

Smoking area next too toilets and shower rooms.

This hostel was perfect for visiting china town and petaling street, as well as so many sites to see by the river. The price was affordable, the rooms aren't too cramped and you have a curtain. There are a few social areas to choose from and a kitchen you can use. The bar upstairs is cool with a great view of the city. The hostel has lots of workawayers, which are great to socialise with!

Free tea and coffee would be nice and the shower rooms were quite cramped. I don't like it when the shower is over the toilet, an extra few showers would be great as there is only 2 per floor. I also think if you're staying at the hostel you should get a discount in the bar above as its quite expensive for travellers

Close to a lot, the perfect location in Chinatown, close to a MRT (train) and more live this location

I think it would be time to clean up behind the black floor boxes under the beds….so much rubbish there. And finding another place for smokers, because if door to room are open at daytime (no air conditioning at daytime) when you want to create a draught it moves inside the room! Put fans in the rooms too to use at time no air conditioning. And light for the beds for reading! Thanks for your service all at staff
