The room was very clean, location isn't the best for public transport, and it wasn't very central, but Grab is so cheap it didn't really matter for us. In that area the local restaurants and laundromat were really good and cheap. Small gym and pool but it is nice to have. Pool bar was nice as well.

The staff who checked us in was very unfriendly. He overcharged me by nearly MYR 200, and when I questioned he just said "tax" without actually showing me how it was calculated. When I asked for an official receipt so I can see the breakdown, the receipt he provided was just a lump sum with no breakdown. After calculating it multiple times in the room, I went to the reception and asked another staff about it. After his investigation, it was concluded that I was right and refunded the overcharged amount. I'm glad the situation is sorted, however this annoyed me a lot on the first day, especially the way the check-in staff dismissed my (very legitimate) concerns.

The regular housekeeping staff on L17 was so kind and helpful. Room was spacious and bed/pillows were very comfortable for me. View was nice at night time. Complimentary non-alcoholic minibar drinks were great. Breakfast could use a little more variety but was still enjoyable. Good customer service from the restaurant staff, especially the egg station cooks. Pool was good with a stunning night view. Proximity to Lalaport mall, TRX mall and Sungei Wang Plaza was very convenient. 1hr from KLIA.

Room was a little humid. Room door and closet doors quite heavy and loud when closing. Could hear other people’s doors closing in the middle of the night. A supportive desk chair would be ideal. Wish the TV had chromecast or a way for non-Android users to connect to Youtube or Netflix. No flexibility from the restaurant to take breakfast back to your room if unwell or have a work meeting, some flexibility should be provided for a better experience.

Staff were attentive. The location is low key and is an area populated by locals. It may not be the best idea to roam around at night, but there is security on site at all times. Easy pick up area for ride hailing and reasonably close to tourist neighborhoods. Lots of options for food nearby. Not many open past 10pm, but i don’t mind since the area is quiet. The view in the hotel rooms are lovely. Cityscape. Modern finishings and decor.

Shower temperature was inconsistent. I had maybe two hot showers out of 5 nights. The other were tepid. I asked staff to check on it, and i tested afterwards and confirmed not water was working. When i to a shower later that night, it was tepid again. Bathroom sink was fine for hot water, so i don’t know that the issue was.

Per room they offer only one breakfast which is not acceptable even if occupancy is double.

The room was really spacious and the beds were quite comfortable. There was a hot water heater in our room (some rooms have coffee pod machines apparently) and the security is really good. The breakfast is really good with food changing from day to day and an egg station for different egg dishes. The hotel is close to a Lalaport mall and there is a monorail stop - Hang Tuah - which is easy to get to even with suitcases.

We were underneath the swimming pool (19th floor) so there was a near constant ripple/hum from morning until evening from the filter. You get used to it after a while - we were there almost a week - but for a short stay it might be a bit much.

The value for money was very good. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety of food. The staff was very friendly. The room size was very good. Check in and check out was fast.

Neighbourhood is not the best, but relatively close to the best areas. The pool is too small and overexagerated in the pictures. The pool was not available the fitst evening because of a private event. We were not advised before. The juices at breakfast were the same everyday. The apple juice tasted like it came from a box, not fresh. We would recommend to have more variety.

Mercure Hotel is an absolute gem that exceeded all my expectations! From the warm welcome at check-in to the impeccable service throughout my stay, every moment was a delight. Loved the rooftop pool bar - Fabian and Alex were amazing, so responsive and friendly. Generally the hotel was open to feedback and very helpful. Complimentary drinks in rooms - make people aware and what about plain old water instead of strange drinks.

Dinner facilities in ground floor a bit disappointing. Google maps is hopeless as we were told and confirmed, some maps in rooms or at reception would be great, even if just how to get to nearby malls, buy a bottle of wine. Great to have complimentary drinks, but how about bottled water

George was a great receptionist. We came there after a terible stay at one of the residences that is located around, and he welcomed us great. Breakfast was really good, room was very clean, great amenities. Internet is usually good, and in general I was very happy to switch to Mercure hotel. From now on instead of dealing with private properties I am going to stay at hotels

Pillows weren’t really comfortable in my opinion

Staff was extremely nice and friendly, like all the Asians. The hotel is located in a very good position, easy to reach any touristical place. The pool was chill and most of the times we were the only ones using it. The view from terrace is really good as well.

The room could have a deep cleansing as there are some yellowish spots on the carpet that look pretty bad. Also, breakfast could be improved with more options for people that don't eat Asian food. Most of the mornings we had the same food options for the breakfast. We arrived around 11 am in the hotel and were expected to can do our check-in around 12-13. But it was told to us that checkin time is 3pm (even if I couldn't find this info anywhere on their page before or after doing the booking) so we had to pay extra money for early check-in. I was not very happy about this aspect.
