New and good location

Parking rate are high and hard to find parking lot

I am writing to express my appreciation for the excellent service and safety provided by Urban Living Residence. I have two children who play squash regularly at Universiti Malaya (UM), and due to the high travel cost and traffic congestion from our hometown in Seremban, we have found it much more convenient to stay at your residence during their training week each month. In addition, we also travel to Penang for squash and consistently choose to stay at Urban Living in Jelutong, which is conveniently located near the squash courts. Our overall experience at both locations has been very positive, and we feel comfortable and secure during our stays. Given our frequent visits and ongoing loyalty to Urban Living, I would like to kindly request a small discount on our future stays. A gesture like this would be greatly appreciated, and I would be more than happy to share and recommend your property to my network and team members who also travel for squash. convenient, cleaning and safety.

Staff from FD, housekeeping and maintenance were very helpful and attentive. I came late night and I don't know how to on the water heater, yeah its weird! The staff immediately came to the rescue. Surprisingly for the price I paid, their shampoo and shower gel were Crabtree & Evelyn, plus towels and lines smells fresh and clean. Hair dryer is upon request, no electric kettle in the room but there is a flask where you can keep a hot water from the water dispenser on the same floor I stayed. Iron was also not available in the room but its just beside the water dispenser so it was fine.

We liked the hotel ambience and its chic concept. If you're seeking treatment nearby UMMC or attending graduation, this place is what you're looking for. Parking is charged per entry. Grocery store is within the same compound along with Pokok restaurant.

Please add in more water dispenser in every floor. I think the only water dispenser available is at level 4 at Block C. The hotel smells and feel like a hospital/hospis which we understand since it serves as wellness centre and also hotel. In order to go to block C, you need to tap in and out but they only provide you with one access card.

Location & cleanliness & entire environment

The property Management Canceled my booking at last minute (12.54pm on the check in day) via email. I need to solve this dispute with the Manager to regain my stay. Not a good business ethic . They have no rights to cancel upon booking confirmation .

Since I was accompanying a family member for treatment at UM, it was quite beneficial as its close to the hotel. Taking the grab was also quite affordable, in my opinion. The staffs at the receptionist were very nice and I like the environment there.

Despite being a good location close to UM, it was hard for my family to find restaurants that is a stone's throw away for us to walk to. Fortunately, there is a cafeteria at MAHSA dormitory but they don't open after 7pm and we preferably enjoy eating local food than going to the western cafe. During the 2nd night, we received noisy sounds from upstairs, probably children running around and making noises. It's quite uncomfortable for us to sleep at night. Another problem we encountered was when we left the hotel for a few hours, only to come back with the toilet being smelly for no reason. They provide toiletries, but the soap is limited to be used for 3 to 4 people.

Comfortable room, good quality airconditioning. It's quiet at night. That parking is fair priced. It's maximum of RM7.00 per day, if you park for a long time. I'm ok with this price. The few cafes in the 2nd and 3rd floor serve affordable food if you are unable to go to SS2 for a meal. I've tried breakfast and lunch on the various days and the quality is above average. If you are meeting people in the premises, there are plenty of seating around the various floors. You won't have problems with privacy and comfort.

Not having a kettle was somewhat surprising but I can live with it by walking to the other side for the boiled water to make coffee in my room. My internet dropped quite a lot on the first day. I noticed that the router was outside my room.

Love the room. Very accommodating for me and my kids. Love the environment. Everything that we wanted were within reach. My kids enjoyed our times here. Your staff especially the front peeps are all very friendly and warming. Make us feels like home.

The parking was quite limited. Most cafes and joints closed at 6pm. The room interior was quite awkward for a triple stay. Maybe separate the bedroom and living? Pantry can be at the living instead of the bedroom. The swimming pool was not clean and probably not suitable for kids.

The room is comfort and quite big space.

There is no full day standard parking rate.
