The location is the top reason I booked this hotel, followed by the price. The bathroom was really clean! The hotel was really quiet. There was even a drinking water dispenser with hot and cool water. I was surprised by the excellent service given by the helpful and friendly staff, who remembered all my preferences, and did everything to make it easier for me, such as letting me go through the back door to catch my connecting bus.

There aren’t enough hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes.

Location was convenient and very near jonker area. Very short walk from Casa Del Rio as we opted for coach with droppoff at Casa Del Rio. The staff (william) was helpful and assisted us with self check in kiosk. It will be good to provide an online step by step screenshot or video of the check-in kiosk so that first time guests does not feel lost. He was very kind and provided us with suggestions where to go as well.There's also a small play area suitable for young kids. Room was clean and decent but do take note there is no TV/fridge and no daily housekeeping. Shampoo & body wash is available, rest of toiletries you need to bring your own. Clothes hanger is limited so advisable to bring your own as well. Breakfast was simple but good enough - home cooked chicken porridge on D1 and curry chicken rice on D2, scrambled eggs, baked beans. There are plain sliced breads & jam/kaya/butter available with toaster so you can DIY.  Coffee and tea packets are available for you to brew yourself. There is a hot/cold water dispenser outside for public usage.  Overall its a pleasant stay, no major complaints for the price paid!

There are ALOT of mosquitoes flying around! Pls bring along mozzie spray/patch esp if you have young kids. Will be good if host put some mozzie incense burners around or provide mozzie sprays/patches for guests.

the location, very center, you can see a lot of historical building. the room is spacious, the shower is powerful. the breakfast is generous. the bed is soft and comfortable, we had a very good sleep. problem can be quickly solved if happened.

its a self checking property, so sometimes its not convenience when we need service and the stuff is not there, the owner is a very shy man, who dont like talk with guests. we always expect to have conversation with guesthouse owner which can make trip interesting.

The service staff Mr William was superbly helpful, although we can't check in even after an hour due to high volumn of tourists. But Mr William was politely informed us. The self check-in was a plus point

The parking behind has increased to RM8 Per day and if you park over night it will be double. When peak season like my travelled period the parking will be full.

-Walking distance to most of the attraction. -Next to Jonker street, location was good that it’s not disturb from the busy street noise at night. -Friendly & helpful staff. -Clean & comfortable room. -Shower & heater was working great. -Smooth & easy check in/out. -Spacious common area/lobby with aircond that can take a rest from walking / chill outside of the room.

-The toilet ventilation is without mosquito net which easily get mosquito in room / from opening the room door itself. -Could improve with providing electrical mosquito repellant to kill it around the property & room.

Superb location. The hotel is very near to Jonker Walk. Just walking distance to few tourist attractions (Taming Sari Tower, Dutch Square, Chris Church, River cruise etc). The breakfast is good. Serve local breakfast (nasi lemak, fried meehoon, kopi o), bread, waffle etc. The staff very friendly & helpful. Easy for check in, check out as there is kiosk machine.

Unexpected the room is not like in a picture and it's quite expensive compare to the room I get. But because of the superb location, the helpful staff I just ignore the condition of the room but to be honest. I'm quite disappointed.

Location is very good, just a street away from Jonker Walk. Very close to the river and a lot of other tourist sights and also visitable cafes! The inn itself is an old historical shophouse, which has the inconveniences present e.g. old narrow staircases and no parking, but its very culturally and historically authentic, which is nice to stay in. Staff were very nice and always ready to help, be it the automatic check in, calling a taxi, etc. Breakfast was changed every day and the variety was good! There is also a mini playground for children as well as a self service convenience store with sweets and noodles etc if we want them at night. The trust shown by the inn is very commendable.

Did not realize that rooms are not cleaned every day, which was a surprise as hotels typically are, or would be mentioned if not. Sometimes staff are not around, as there is no front counter, so its hard to find them for help.

Where should I start? Great location. walking distance to eateries so you won't have problems with food. The night market is great as usual. Was a bit surprise with the reception as vending system is new to me but great. Simple to use. Stayed here many times. Love the simplistic new renovation concept. Breakfast was simple but adequate.

It was easily accessible through the back door before this as parking space in behind the Inn, but now they've close it up for secutiry reasons I was told. Maybe the room keycard can be re-installed for this perhaps?

All around old architectural building. The staff is nice and kind. Location is great.

Would be nice if there was a mini fridge in the room. Some people talk at the garden too loud and the sound is all in the room. Would be great if there will be more sound isolation.

Smooth check in and check out. Very kind and helpful people at the front desk. Superb location, we didn’t even use our car or Grab during our 3D2N stay. Everything within walking distance. Great value of money. Very clean. Spacious room.
