Clean room with good facilities, staff was nice and everything went well. Location is great and matress confortable. There was a little dryer inside the room.

The room had no window and it was a little bit stuffy inside the room.

Great location with parking options closeby. Simple clean and modern hotel with some heritage touches. But I would not call it a Hertiage Hotel in my opinion. The staff was very friendly, patient and helpful. Good value! I traveled with 2 elderly family members and the elevator was very nice to have! The showers were also walk in showers (but see below for further comments).

It would have been nice for the hotel to offer a simple breakfast or even coffee and tea and snacks for convenience. However, the staff directed uys to a nearby 24 hour street food stalls for breakfast. The walk in showers were nice to have but the shower floors were constructed properly and water drained out of the shower stalls in both our rooms, wetting the whole area. This also made the floor slippery. The tiles chosen for the bathroo floors were quite slippery when wet. This might end up being a liability and I urge the management to consider changing this condition.

The location is excellent, easy access to attractions, public bus and Grab pickup and drop off; all were within 1 minute walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful; they allowed us to check-in 1/2 hour early. Seven-Eleven is next door where we got our daily snack and drinks.

The facility and room were clean, ventilation was good, everything looked decently new, but the air still smelled moldy or “earthy”; a wall of beautiful vines grows directly outside of our room’s large glass window, about 2 feet away. Not sure the smell came from that or from the historical old building itself.

This is my second time staying at JonkeRED Heritage Hotel, and as usual, I would give it a high rating. It’s the best hotel to stay at in Jonker Street, Malacca. For me, it’s one of the closest hotels to Jonker Street—just a few minutes’ walk away. The room is clean, spacious, and comfortable. Everything is neatly arranged, and they provide some complimentary refreshments. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to spend time around Jonker Street for delicious local food, heritage experiences, sightseeing, museums, and more.

One downside is the limited nearby parking. Guests may need to carry their luggage from the parking area to the hotel, especially on weekends (I stayed on a Sunday when the road was closed to vehicles for tourists). Also, breakfast is not provided. While I understand there are plenty of great restaurants around, it would be nice if the hotel offered breakfast vouchers as a complimentary touch. Keep up the great work!

Cool, funky, old true heritage hotel, lots of character. Comfortable, quiet and safe. Great location just steps from Christ Church and Jonker Street. Room was good sized, good shower, aircon worked fine, filtered water availbe in lobby for your bottles But most of all...the staff. Amir greeted us and got us sorted, provided loads of info and was cheerful and friendly and professional throughout our entire visit Dayah was a true gem. She was there in the evenings and kept us connected with food and transport, always with a big beautiful smile and kindness. We'd stay at JonkeRed again for the room and the location, but we'd go back just to see Dayah and Amir!

The location of the hotel. I was going back multiple times in a day because it is so convenient. The 7-Eleven next to the place is also awesome! There is also a water refill & microwave on the ground level, so that's great too. The size of the room is also rather decent. I like the green wall feature from the glass windows. The aircon is also very strong, the moment you enter from the front entrance, perfect to cool you down from the sunny hot afternoon.

I like that the facility in the center where i want to explore. The room is well equipped. I like that windows can be opened so fresh air comes. Love the water dispenser and microwave at the lobby. 7 11 next to the hotel is big plus. Receptionist Dayah and Amir have been great!! They went above and beyond in assisting me to make my stay memorable.

Perhaps if i could be picky is the fact that bathroom floor is not proper so that water from shower goes out to toilet area. Also ac location is not ideal for me. But other than that all is fine.

The location is best. Right next to red square but the layout of the rooms make it so it's quiet. Very easy to walk to all the major sights. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had hot water with a good pressure. They provide amenities like toothbrush and slippers which is a nice touch. Towels and linens were very fresh and clean.

The room doesn't have windows to open so it's damp. There was mold along all the seals in the bathroom and when you enter the room it smells musty.

The staff. Once booking confirmed, all queries were answered promptly and follow up ensured. I had a special request as it was my 23rd anniversary. the"special" decoration was nicely done and charges very reasonable. Will definitely consider if visiting again and recommend this little Red hotel at the fringes of Jonker Walk. I had the opportunity to liase with Daya, Somy and Harith from front deak and Haslina and Buibul from the Housekeeping team.

Dont expert facilities like a hotel. only thing I felt not that good was the hot water was not hot enough. hope they can do something abt that. It is a boutique hotel, excellent service, location a d clean.
