Nice room close to main attractions. The owner is very kind and professional. They kept our bags too, safely after check out. The room is spacious, only the bathroom is small but there's a good reason for this, the building is ancient, so this is the price to pay. At the ground floor they manage a cozy restaurant too.

The road is calm, but from 5 p. to 11 we heard loud music from a neighbour. Not depending on the owner of the place of course, but very annoying

The location is fantastic. It sits on a very quiet lane, but just 1-2 minutes walk away, you’ll find cafes, bakeries, coffee shops and all manner of shops. It’s also very near a bridge that will take you into the heart of the Heritage Zone with its bars, restaurants and attractions. And in the morning, the view from the bridge is simply stunning. Plus there’s wide and well maintained walking, jogging and cycling track that runs the river’s length.

The hotel has great character and is located in a heritage building. The only minor criticisms I might have is that they carpeted the rooms when there’s beautiful wooden floors under the carpet. I understand that it must be for noise management, but what a shame. Also, the bathroom is a tad tiny. But overall, clean and well maintained.

Perfect location close to City centre, the beautiful canal and many restaurants and bars. Rooms are spacious and clean, there's even a free water refilling station! Ping Ping checked us in and has been an absolute superstar during the whole stay, so friendly and helpful. We would come back here just because of her!

The location in the historical part of Melaka was excellent with a short walk to the river and plenty of eating/ drinking options. The staff at the hotel extremely helpful and the housekeeping thorough. Spacious but rustic room.

It was not made clear that the room booked had a very steep staircase with no bannister. Bathroom downstairs. Some rooms have no windows which is also not highlighted. Foot noise from guests in upstairs rooms. Having said this it is an historic building in one of the oldest streets of the city. Management did move us to a single level room.

First of all is the location. It is walking distance to Jonker Street. Not too far for kids to walk and not too near to hear the noise.

Was a bit dissapointed on the housekeeping. Check in to a clean room. However, housekeeping did not throw the rubbish in the dustbin leftover from previous guest. There was leftover diapers in the dustbin. Was a bit shock to see the diapers.

The location is good and not far from Jonker Street (about 10 min walking) and Dutch Square Melaka (about 8 min walking) too! The neighbourhood was quiet, and you definitely can rest with peace of mind here. Additionally, we love the private garden 😄

Parking is limited, especially street parking. However, you can reserve private parking (first come, first serve & have a parking fee) with them. Other than this, I do not recommend you to stay in the room in the afternoon, the room was really hot 🤣 but It will start to cool down in the late evening.

The location is very near to River Walk and Jonker Street and other tourist attractions. The staff is very nice and helpful. Cafes and restaurants are plenty at nearby areas. Nearby has many scenic and historical places to take photos.

The stairs to attic floor is quite steep. Therefore would like to suggest to provide handrails for the staircase.

The location and hospitality of the owners! They have helped with the parking since I came with elderly parents.

No details or information about the stairs up to the house at the booking website. I had senior citizens that had to climb up the stairs, only found out about it during check in. It was a surprise indeed but fully paid already.
