Ibis Melaka is perfectly located near all the tourist attractions and merely a few minutes walk from Jonker Street. Parking is available behind the hotel if arriving by car. There are many amazing restaurants nearby the hotel. We especially loved the Indian restaurant right down the street that is cheap and delicious. The room was big enough even though we are a family of three. The staff cleaned the room everyday and were very helpful when assistance was needed. The pool is wonderful for younger kids as there is a kiddies’ pool with slides for them to play on. The breakfast was pretty good with a lot of varieties and a few different dishes every morning. Overall, I would recommend Ibis Melaka if staying on a budget.

Freshly baked eggs on request instead of pre-made ones that become soggy. They made us fresh eggs when we asked but still.

I did not get to take snap any photo as im occupy with my wheelchair bound mum. The room that i ask for is to accomodate my mum, my hubby and me. It is a family room. It consist of 1 queen bed, 1 single bed and 1 foldable sofa bed. There is a wardrobe fill with iron, the board, hangers, bedroom slipper and a nice bag make from wool i guess to fill laundry for the hotel to send for washing. There is a coffee cups and kettle. The hotel also provide coffee, tea, sugar and creamer sachets. They also provide toiletries. But if you or your family members totally in wheelchair, the shower is not wheelchair friendly. But the rest of the hotel is mostly wheelchair friendly. Parking is a private parkin on site which is very safe. There is a pool for both adult and kids. There is a gym too and 3 conference room. There is a breakfast include in your stay if you choose when make a booking. The breakfast is a simple one but delicious... there is nasi lemak, fried beehoon, soup noodle, bread, salad and coffee tea. There is also a cereal for kids. There is also a room service you can order. The staff are all so friendly and courteousy. The hotel manager is friendly and he help his staff clear table after the guest left as he see his staff is so busy. Overall is a WOW! Will stay there again if im in Melaka. Thank you IBIS Melaka.

Staff are generally helpful and friendly. We went to pool at around 7.15pm and staff turned on the water features for us even though pool will close soon at 8pm even without our request. There are bolsters! First hotel I encountered that has bolsters in their room. Comfortable!

When we first arrived, there wasn’t any bellboy to assist us with the luggage. We had to request before they found someone. Bedsheet on first night couldn’t cover the entire bed properly. We noticed that the beds had stains. Sheets and pillows were clean enough though.

The location is good but the traffic is very heavy and jam to drive out and back to the hotel. The staff are friendly and the room is clean. Has own hotel parking area.

There is a smell in the room that came from the shower drainage. Quite unbearable. The location is good for walking on foot to places of interest. We book our room without breakfast, and we wanted to take breakfast under the senior price on our last stay before checking out. We check with the staff and he do not know the price for the senior and he tried to ask around, but with no avail. As we do not have the time to wait for him to get an answer to us, we decided to eat outside.

My family and I had a great time at Ibis Melaka hotel. Last year my boyfriend and I stayed here for couple of days so we decided to come back because Ibis Melaka is lovely place, right hotel to stay and enjoy Melaka. Professional, politely and friendly staff, housekeeping service is on high level (our rooms, all public areas were absolutely clean), great facilities like free parking, swimming pool, gym and e.t.c., good breakfast. All hotel look very modern, stylish and comfortable. We will be happy to come back again! Thank you so much.<3

That would be awesome to have more varieties of meal for breakfast (more options of fresh vegetables, fruits, non gluten pastries, fresh coffee from beans, not powder). But generally breakfast was ok.

we like the room, clean and spacious. tv channels and good wifi connection (very important for the kids when in the room). bathroom is clean. we like the fragrant from your shower gel & shampoo. walking distance to jonker walk. big space for parking spots. love the a la carte menu at the restaurant, tasty and adequate portion. we wanna repeat your sweet sour fish 😋. all staffs are friendly and helpful, at recep, rest and everyone. our daughter loves your water slides and pool. clean and fun.

wish the water slides closed at 7pm (not earlier☹️), that day there were 2 kids (incl our kid) wanna enjoy the water slides, but the water been shut off like 20mins early, so they play like normal slides.

Basically walking distance to all the major sites around Melaka. WiFi pretty decent. Pool is good. Bed was extremely comfortable and room spacious. Downside. They said the breakfast was for 1 person not 2 so i had to pay extra and then they didn't update the list, so each morning there was a hold up as said 1, not 2. Also. For some weird reason the toilet must have been installed by a giant cus it was so high off the ground it wasn't pleasant to use and in 6ft 1". First time ever to do experience that.

Excellent location not far from Jonker St and La Famosa, which meant that nothing was too far away. It’s right in the little India part of Melaka, which made for some delicious food too. The waiting area in the foyer, though small, had the euro finals showing, which our group appreciated.

On checkout, the front desk staff seemed a little stressed out with our large group, which is not ideal in such a holiday setting (undoubtedly we were an enormous and noisy group, but perhaps more staff are needed when there are such bookings). Having said that, the staff on check in and housekeeping staff were super friendly and efficient.

I was initially disappointed when approaching the open area car park, with clogged rain water which made the car dirty passing over them. However, my check in experience was very pleasant with the courteous service. What made me even more delighted when I had someone knocking my door for delivery of room service I didn't remember ordered. It turned out to me a surprise birthday cake with candles.. Bravo. Made my day (though it was a day earlier) will come back again with my family

Rooms comfortable, Location excellent right at Little India with Good Indian Restaurants (Saravana Chettinadu) and Indian Textiles shops with all colorful indian items/goods plus Colorful flower garlands. Walking distance to Jonker Streets, Historical sites and Malacca River Cruise Jetty. You will enjoy staying at Ibis Malacca with early breakfast starts at 6.30 am till 10.00 am Good for early check out travellers...

Breakfast good but menu can be upgraded. Less workers to clean tables... i had to wait with my plates...
