I first came here during my work visits to Malacca many years ago and discovered Marvelux Hotel during its early days, I came back to bring my children for a short holiday and to visit my son who is studying in Malacca. Happy to see that it stays the same - providing comfort and the rest that I needed! The room, the bed, the bathroom - all are very comfortable and worth the value I paid for. Definitely will come back to Marvelux anytime I plan to visit my son.

The busy (and noisy) traffic in front especially during festive holiday. As my latest visit was on Wesak Day the traffic was super massive and it was extremely packed as I watched the jam from the balcony, Noises from the motorbikes and sports cars can be quite disturbing especially during and after midnight.

My second stay here. Location is excellent, near to many good eateries with good and clean environment. Aunty Fatso for their famous cheese prawn bee hoon. Siew Tin's Nonya Restoran for a beautiful fine nonya dining experience. Jinbo Restoran for HK quality dimsum and they open at 7am. If you like to booze, you are at the right zone. Nearby has a korean convenience store where you can sit down to have a quick ready meal. Nearby there is a well stocked pharmacy. Grabcar is fast and very affordable. Room is no frills, very basic with a TV, bar fridge and toothbrushes. No complain due to good value. Service of reception and security guard is friendly. Check in and out is fast and efficient. Parking at this hotel is aplenty front and back. Looks safe as the guard is quite alert and there is camera surveillance at the back of hotel.

Areas of improvements are the condition of their pillows as very used and provides no support. I have to double up before I can even fall asleep. Next is the used and smelly bath towels which needs to be replaced. The lifts has a funny smell and needs a good clean up. Spray with a nice air scent will help a lot. If they can work on this quickly, this hotel will be a gem in this area for its value.

Room is big and clean. Air-conditional is super cold and working very well. Surrounding area full of variety of restaurant and cafe, and taste good. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. especially the receptionist and security guy at the carpark.

The room is directly next to the main road, it is kind of noisy especially at night time.

The room is clean, and comfortable. The bathroom is also clean though the glass door a bit rusty but overall still ok. The hotel is also not too far away from the city centre which is very convenient. Also there are lots of places to eat.

The iron room was a bit of a hassle as we need to go out from our room just to iron our clothes. but it’s not a big of a problem. The parking is a bit tricky as the hotel is at the end of the road where there is a traffic light. so to park is a bit hard. but there’s still parking at the back of the hotel. So it’s manageable. The wifi is not as fast. the TV has not many channels.

Room is huge..ample of space to move around. Also have a balcony but need to wear slipper coz it's dirty

The staff I guess. Hardly smile even though they were not busy? We booked the same hotel 2 times..one during weekday and we came back again on the weekend. Same staff telling 2 different things upon checking in🤦🏻‍♂️ Not much kopitiam choices around. Need to drive to find.

From the entrance, check in to the check out process, i will say our experience staying at this hotel was amazing. The security are super friendly,kind and very helpful, as well as their reception staffs...spacious room, clean, follow all remarks which help to provide iron in the rooms convenient location which nearby a lot of attractions..price so reasonable and i will say it cjnsudered cheap for this great hospitality...definitely will back again to this hotel.

Balcony, too empty ...management should probably provide slippers or garden chairs and table.

- We booked king size bed but they only have super single beds. They asked us to combine the beds ourselves. we are ok so we combined the beds and found dust below the beds which the hotel could improve by doing a throughout cleaning of the rooms. - Toilet lighting is very dim...almost cannot see anything. - I think the room could be cleaner. The rest is ok and very satisfied with the hotel!

Like everything in the hotel,the room very nice and comfortable,clean and all amenities complete...only hope in future can add coffehouse... The staff from reception and security also very friendly and soft spoken

Great location with many eateries and convenient store around. Room size is good with nice bed, power shower and air-cond works well. Plenty of parking space around the hotel. Will stay again.

Check-in was abit hassle as the system did not capture my booking and the reception managed to settled it within 15mins. Not many tv channels available but that is fine.
