Check in process was smooth and quick. The staff were all polite and courteous. The recently renovated interiors of the room made for a clean, comfortable and pleasant stay. Every switch, every socket, every remote control and every tap was working perfectly fine and that was the best part about the stay. I enjoyed the good selection of TV channels on offer as well. The hotel cafe was a good way to relax and enjoy the views of Mount Kinabalu outdoors. I went during low season so it was a quiet and serene stay for us.

The soundproofing of the rooms maybe could be better but that's probably to be expected as the structure of the building itself is a bit old. It did not affect my enjoyment of my stay.

I stayed here for my birthday celebration and requested a simple decoration upon check-in. Thank you for the effort, I truly appreciated it😊. The room was newly renovated, so it felt like staying in a brand-new hotel, even though the property itself is quite established. I got mountain view some more 😍

I was given connecting rooms, which made me feel a bit insecure as the connecting door didn’t seem fully secure (though nothing bad happened during my stay 😅). The rooms were not very soundproof, and I could clearly hear conversations from the adjoining room.

The receptionist was good, housekeeping too. Friendly and efficient with a smile throughout my 4 days there.

The cafe guy was rude, he made the wrong order and he expected me to understand the culture when I was new there. Told him to replace and he rudely ignored me asking the receptionist to confirm my order right in front of my face. I believe he didn't know that it was me and he had the guts to just walk away with a rude attitude.

From the outside, the hotel seems normal n old.. nothing interesting.. but once enter the lobby, we were impressed by the newly renovated interiors.. entering our rooms, we were delighted by the design and furnitures.. The last time we check in this hotel was probly more than 10 yrs ago, which was old n run down. This time checking in here, really changed our perception of the hotel. The view from our window was breathtaking... unbelieveble view of mount kinabalu.. cant describe further, u hav to come see yourself! Definitely come bec to this hotel, as it is value for money, good view, convenient to all places in kundasang and definitely best place for a cosy stay in Kundasang.

Well the water pressure is on the low side.. but other than that, really no other complaints. Everything is good and really touch my heart..

Above our expectations!!!! Nothing to complain..though the hotel looks old but the rooms are so nicely done..the view from our room is breathtaking. Foods are all delicious.

Not much to offer on their cafe menu. The cafe is so cosy with nice view. I wish they have pastries, scone, waffle and light snacks on the menu. The pisang goreng (banana fritters) were so good match with the local coffee!!

overall i like it the room, the space good for family. the breakfast also good.

i didn’t like it when the remote control doesn’t work. nasib baik there’s another one remote control that can use. and the room was not ‘kedap bunyi’. We can hear the people talking at the living room.

Breakfast was quite limited. Although the menu listed some breakfast sets, they weren’t available, so we had no choice but to go for the buffet. Unfortunately, the buffet food was average, and refills were quite slow.

The ala carte food in the cafe can still be improve (esp the the overall taste of this menu - white rice + ikan goreng basung + losun + bambangan and orange juice)

Really enjoyed my stay here. The location is convenient, the facilities are well-maintained, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Will definitely return!
