The place is truly zen! Service is great, attentive and considerate. We did barbecue and we brought our own grill rack, stove and pot. It began to get colder around 9 pm so put on warm clothes! Quite windy as well so you need to be prepared if you're planning to do barbecue. The water heater works well and good pressure as well. The blanket is keeping us warm the whole night. Only few people came during our stay so it was a peaceful and quiet stay.

-No slippers but we brought our own. -I woke up a few times at night because the people next door snored loudly

Quiet location. Not near to other rented homes. Thus, some peace and quiet. Cleanliness of room and bathroom is acceptable. Judging by the cool climate and hardly any sun, it's very thoughtful of the owners to give us 2 towels each.

Water pressure Lagging wifi Use of walkie-talkie. We called in 2x, but no one answered. In the end, we have to take the risk of going up the slop without knowing if there will be any guests going downhill. The road leading to the hotel is narrow and bumpy.

Good weather and quiet place. Room is clean. Comfortable. The blanket is very thick, very good for cold weather. Mobile data very weak, but they provide wifi.

Extreme uphills, suggest good driving experience to drive. Water heater not stable. Wifi provided but the that fast & stable, need proceed to login every time. Don't have a good place for chill out with friends. Only a few table & chair. The place is too quiet, you will worry about disturbing other. Overall, it's good value for your pocket 👍

The location was very close to the Kinabalu national park and had scenic views of the valley. The staff was accessible and helpful. Room was large and comfortable. If nestled in nature to our liking. There is a mart, eatery, laundromat just at the main road.

There were many insects in the room but we used insect repellent and we were good. There isn't any restaurant for vegetarians but if you go to Kinabalu park, you need not worry. The road to the hotel is very steep for around 400m or so and needs a good vehicle. Our grab from KK had to drop us midway the slope but the lodge helped to pick us from there.

The weather and scenery at Pine Tree are amazing, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers. It’s also an excellent spot for team-building activities, accommodating groups of 10 to 20 people.

The room was just nice for a family of 5. The bed and blankets are a bit worn out and faded but i can understand that this us due to frequent use and washing. Tells you lots of people came. The staff Ms. Peace, is a very warm and wonderful person. She assisted all our requests and queries! Will i come again, you bet.

The tracks from the main road leading to the resort is only a one way, very steep and narrow road. Thou they did make some pit stop lane at the side, in case vehicles are coming from both direction. Nevertheless, due to the height, it can be quite scarry.

I like that the area is quiet, and apart from having a kettle inside the room, there is also additional water cooler provided outside the room.

There is limited parking space and the parking space is also cramped. Also, I thought there would be TVs, but no TV available for my room 😂 It is okay though, no worries.

My stay here was amazing. Will definitely come again. The receptionist staff very helpful and serve us with joyful smile all the time. We felt so welcome to stay here. We can rent a bbq set as well!

The access from main road to the villa abit scary. Need some upgrade on the holes, bumpy and uneven surface. Please cut the grass on the middle road too.

Location of the property was convenient for hike around the park.

Room could be improved by providing larger desk and chair. Hot water flow in the shower was not stable and not warm enough.
