One of the main issues was the lack of effective curtains in the room. During the daytime, sunlight streamed through the windows despite the curtains, making it difficult to sleep or relax comfortably. Additionally, the positioning of the air conditioning unit was inadequate, as it failed to evenly distribute cool air throughout the room. To compensate for this, we had to resort to opening the bathroom door to let in some of the cooler air from there, which was not ideal. Furthermore, the refrigerator in the room took an unusually long time, approximately 24 hours, to cool water & refreshments, which was inconvenient.

Location of the property and many other factors are very important to a person who wants to come in a short notice. When I mean in a short notice is I literally made my plan suddenly and everything was sorted out and well managed by the resort.

Let me start with the location is excellent. Villas are comfortable and well organized. You will have an opportunity to choose between 3 restaurants that have a variety of different dishes. Activities you will have many options that are all based on availability and is chargeable. All you need to have in a vacation is available in the GRAND PARK.

I will definitely come back! It was more beautiful than I expected. I loved the breakfast buffet and the snorkeling. A few days earlier we went on a day trip to a luxury resort island that cost $1500/night. It wasn't very pretty inside the rooms, so we were nervous about our booking since it was so much more affordable. We were thrilled to find out ho9w amazing this villa was!! I didn't want to leave! We had so much fun with the glass floor and even spent two full night sleeping on the hammock bed outside! We also swam with six 7' sharks and stingrays and you get to rent a snorkel set for the duration of your stay for free. We stayed in the ocean view reef water bungalow, and it had the best snorkeling and privacy. For some reason the lagoon view cost more, but in my opinion the ones on the other side of the road has a way better view.

All meals were very expensive, as were the snacks, and the 26% tourist taxes added on top of all charges made a big difference. The mandatory $200/per person shuttle was a lot for a 20-minute ride, but at least we were served delicious refreshments onboard.

Beautiful villa, but extra charges and overpriced services We visited several islands as part of a test trip and stayed one night at Grand Park Kodhipparu in a Pool Water Villa with an all-inclusive package. The villa itself was beautiful, clean, and very relaxing. The staff were polite and helpful, and the overall service was decent. However, we were surprised at check-in when we were told that no shared speedboat matched our flight schedule — even though transfer was mentioned as included in the booking. We had to pay an extra USD 145 for an earlier transfer, and we were sent to the airport 3 hours earlier than necessary, along with other tourists. This took away from the comfort and exclusivity we expected. Additionally, everything at the resort is extremely overpriced — from services to extras — which felt excessive even for a one-night stay. Overall, the island is beautiful and peaceful, but we expected a more transparent and reasonably priced experience from a luxury resort like this.

Absolutely fantastic resort, very quiet and relaxing, great for snorkeling and swimming. The house reef was rich of sea life. Food and drinks were very good, the highlight is definitely the “Fire Door” restaurant where you can have a fine dining experience while being on such a small island, which is the most impressive part in my opinion. Staff and our host was very kind and friendly and attentive to our needs.

If I really need to find something to improve I would say the overall condition of some of the villas. I understand that there are a lot of factors that deteriorate the wood and outdoor furniture, so it’s not a major concern, but it could be something that can be improved. Some of the excursions can be improved as well, for example the shark excursion can be a bit longer, more than 2/3 of the time were spent on the boat going and coming from the location.

Review for Grand Park Kodhipparu My partner and I recently enjoyed a wonderful babymoon at Grand Park Kodhipparu, staying in the stunning Pool Villa 92. The room was beautifully appointed, offering breathtaking sunset views and a fantastic private pool that added to our overall experience. We appreciated the complimentary snorkeling gear, which allowed us to explore the beautiful house reefs with ease. The reefs were teeming with vibrant fish, and we even spotted a baby shark! However, one minor downside was that we had to return the snorkeling gear the day before check-out, as it would have been more convenient to return it upon departure. The resort offers a diverse array of vegetarian food options across its three restaurants, which we found to be quite satisfying. A suggestion for improvement would be to separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes more clearly at the buffet, as we noticed some mixing of utensils that was off-putting. We would like to extend our gratitude to all the buggy drivers for their service, although there were times when we had to wait up to 30 minutes for a buggy, and occasionally the phone wouldn't connect to the front desk, requiring repeated attempts to get through. Special thanks to Kundan and Ahmed at Edge for their attentive care. We were delighted by the delicious dosas prepared daily by the Indian chef from Andhra, along with excellent paneer tikka and naan for lunch. At Breeze, Sachin provided exceptional service, and while the food was delicious, it’s worth noting that service times can be a bit slow—though this is understandable given the relaxed island atmosphere. The sunset views from Breeze were nothing short of spectacular, and the evening DJ added a nice touch, although having music during dinner time would have enhanced the experience further. A huge shout-out to Naahil, our photographer, who captured our babymoon beautifully with stunning photographs.

The smoking not allowed in cafe or restaurant or room or pool … only allowed at the gates of places So for smoking people it will be very annoying, so i have a suggestion to make smoking area in every place.

Our room was fantastic and clean! The property is very well located, only 20 minutes from the airport. The staff was very courteous and special mention to Winda from the Breeze restaurant! She made our stay extra special by taking good care of us and our vegetarian food requirement!!

Everything. Especially the attention received by the staff. Eliza and Sanjay made us feel listened to and supported us with everything. The breakfast buffet has one of the best warm food variety I’ve seen, and the gym is well equipped and has the best views over the bay. The reef is one of the best we’ve seen after checking 3 different islands in the Maldives.
