⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the most wonderful experience at Deep Blu Boutique Hotel. The location is unbeatable – right on the beachfront in beautiful Żurrieq, with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. What really made our stay special were the owners – incredibly friendly, warm, and always ready to help with anything I needed. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home. The rooms are stylish, clean, and comfortable, and you can tell there’s great attention to detail throughout the hotel. It’s the perfect mix of luxury and local charm. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Malta!

Best hotel ever! Our room with sea view and the jacuzzi. Jacuzzi was so nice ( they brought it to the right temperature before our check in! and it is big enough for 2 persons.)The staff is so good! Every person we met over there was professional and friendly. The family is the best! The bed was very comfy. Breakfast extremely good, no buffet but they serve you everything on your table. The omelettes are perfect, so is the rest. Briefly: very very nice! And we really liked swimming close to the hotel in sea! Before 9 am and after 17 pm tourists ( to visit the blue grotto) are away and it is again like the old little fisherman’s place which it was a long time ago. Thanks a lot to the family and all the nice staff!

There was nothing we did not like!

We recently spent three nights at this lovely hotel, and it was a fantastic experience overall! From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their warmth and friendliness, making us feel truly welcome. The room was spotlessly clean, which immediately put us at ease. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable, providing us with restful nights of sleep—a rarity in hotels! Although the pillows weren’t quite to our liking, it didn’t take away from the overall comfort of our stay. The hotel’s atmosphere, combined with the attentive service, made for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

A great little hotel! I stayed in a quiet room with a modern design and a balcony (facing the back street - so it was quiet, although there are some noisy bars on the main street of the village). My room was very clean and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities, including an elevator. Comfy bed and pillows. Nice breakfast with a menu I could choose from. I liked the food in the restaurant, too - I had lunch on their terrace. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the owner. She helped me with information about archaeological sites in Malta and helped me book a taxi to attend an early morning event at sunrise. My flight arrived past midnight and while there was no one at the reception, we had agreed on how to proceed in advance and the hotel had given me very clear instructions on how to get in. It was a really nice place to stay in Wied iz-Zurrieq and only a couple of minutes away from the marina where you take a boat to visit the Blue Grotto (weather permitting; in my case, the sea was rough and the boat trips had been cancelled). The hotel is also 30 minutes' walk from the Visitor Centre at Mnajdra and Hagar Qim Temples.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area of Malta, right by the sea, seemingly in a very tourist-friendly zone (we noticed a lot of tourists around the next morning). We only stayed for one night (after our flight was cancelled we had to take another route and spend one night in Malta, and we took that hotel because it's only 10min driving from the airport), so we didn’t have time to explore the surroundings, but the location appears to be ideal for sightseeing. The room was very clean, well-appointed, and truly comfortable, which made our short stay very pleasant.

While the view from the restaurant/breakfast is stunning, the service was rather slow and it wasn't really a buffet as one might expect from a hotel of this kind. Additionally, I had to ask several times to receive an invoice for our stay, and the hotel was unable to provide an invoice separating the room charge from the breakfast cost (something I needed for accounting purposes).

The perfect hotel to stay whenever you are in Malta! It is located in a beautiful place, where you can swim, dive, catch a boat ride to the caves. Amazing and affordable restaurantes all around. The hotel has a restaurant with amazing food, highly recommended. The rooms are spacious and are cleaned every day, they have everything you would need for your stay. The hotel has an indoor pool/jacuzzi, gym, sauna that you can you use that is great! Breakfast has a big variety of food you can choose from. The owners of the hotel are a kind and great family, who will help you with everything you need. They made mine and my husbands honeymoon very special and beautiful. Thank you so much for having us in your beautiful hotel. We hope to come back someday!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much. Our room was very stylish and very comfortable. The jacuzzi on the terrace was amazing and great to relax. The location of the hotel is superb - overlooking the departure place of the boats for visiting the Grotto Azuro. We had dinner at Aalto restaurant - food is exquisite and authentic. The hotel is family owned, mother and son are doing a great job in making you feel at home. We will be back.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and finding a parking spot near the hotel was not that easy. I can imagine this can be even more difficult on a Sunday during peak season. However, this has not spoiled our holiday at all ;-)

The location, views, owners, staff, breakfast, parking (handy outside after tourists leave or big public car park 50M away), balcony and restaurants within village. We do not enjoy buffet type breakfasts, so the freshly cooked choices were much appreciated. We stayed in a standard sea view type room which although was just above the restaurant, our privacy/peace was not disrupted.

Just one small thing - as we were staying for 7 nights a little more storage in the room would have been appreciated.

My friend and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Deep Blue Boutique Hotel. The location was perfect – quiet, safe, and lively, with beautiful views of the blue Mediterranean Sea. Our room was very clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food at Aalto Restaurant, located inside the hotel, was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed dining there.

There was no hairdryer in the room, but overall, it didn’t affect our experience.

If you are staying in Malta for any reason, stay here. The owners are hospitable, kind, and exceedingly helpful. The facilities were gorgeous, truly beautifully designed, and the views from our room across the sea were stunning. The location above the Blue Grotto and close to pre-historic megalithic temples made attractions easily accessible. Swimming in the sea was just outside the hotel! There are small shops close by, but we didn't finish our day early enough to have a look, but by what we did see when we walked by, made us wish they had stayed open a little later. There is a restaurant in the hotel, where the food and wine selections were exceptional. There is a gym in the basement, and a small indoor pool next to it, which was very pretty. Aalto https://aalto.mt/ is the restaurant of the owner, and in the hotel. I think the lemon molten cake with ice cream was the best I have had in my life, and I travel to Italy and other places in Europe frequently. We had to leave early in the morning, before breakfast, so the owners left us a take away breakfast of a fresh pastries and fruit.

There is a little island across the way, Filfla, protruding from the sea. It is mesmerizing. I couldn't turn away!
