I stayed at Royal Green Wellness Resort before - two years ago and it was great to be back here. I use it as a base when visiting my family in Mauritius. It was lovely recognising many of the team who I'd met two years ago and they remembered me too which was a nice touch. Thanks again to Nadia on reception Ludvic - gym instructor Nandini spa reception Niven - waiter at breakfast and their colleagues for another great stay. The apartment is so spacious and I always appreciate having the fridge and microwave I travel on my own and always feel safe at Royal Green. The gym is amazing and there's plenty of equipment available. The swimming pool is great too and it was never busy when I went before breakfast or in the evening. Ludvic, the main personal trainer and class coach at the gym is brilliant! He organised personal trainer sessions for me in the morning and it was brilliant joining his dance class on the Wednesday evening. He's a great personal trainer and supports all levels. The team at the spa is amazing. I had a full body massage and a beauty treatment. They also have a hairdressing salon which is great but I didn't have time to use this. The resort has its own taxi drivers which are great and then they use a local taxi company for evening taxi journeys. I had dinner at the restaurant on the Wednesday evening and the menu has lots of reasonably priced options. The lamb curry was delicious. I'm so glad the resort now offers buffet breakfasts which are amazing - freshly made omelettes and eggs, selection of savoury Mauritian breakfast treats like gateau Piment and puri - a very special treat for me as I live in London! All of the breakfast and dinner team were great. I used taxis to get around as I don't hire a car when I visit Mauritius and it's helpful being able to get a taxi to the nearest tram / metro as that's also an easy way to get around.

It would be great if the hotel mentioned if they have a shuttle services going to QB market or Bagateille shopping mall nearby When there were a couple of issues with my apartment I was moved to another apartment and the team were very helpful.

The attentive service and attention to detail were outstanding. The food was excellent, the rooms spacious, great showers. I enjoyed a lovely massage with Jean-Marie, so caring, and he hit the tense spots perfectly. It is ideally located close to the C-Care Wellkin hospital, as we had a relative there and needed to be close at hand. The beds were a dream, after a long and stressful day. We highly recommend a stay here for business, pleasure (Bagatelle Mall is nearby for shopping) and very convenient to nearby hospitals.

Only 2 of tea/coffee and utensils for a room that was for 4. More generous supplies and utensils in the spacious kitchen would help. A hairdryer would be handy. A tv in the second bedroom would be nice, as well as bedside lamps.

The staff at the Royal Green Wellness Resort were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my short stay. The rooms were immaculately clean and very comfortable. I also enjoyed the delicious healthy breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major shopping malls, hospitals and universities.

If feasible, the property could consider adding a complementary shuttle service to the nearby shopping malls i.e Tribeca, Bagatelle and Caudan Waterfront to ensure tourists are more comfortable during their stay.

In terms of cleanliness, this is one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. The staff are also very friendly, the rooms are huge too. The breakfast is very nice.

This is out of the control of the hotel, but its far from anywhere and you need a taxi/car to get anywhere - to get to the centre you'd essentially need to walk on the highway, which isn't feasible. It would be cool if there was more variety in the breakfast, and the main breakfast room could definitely do with air conditioning. Although some other reviewers mentioned this, I think this hotel is used by people who have come to Mauritius to receive treatment from the adjacent hospital. But if you hire a car yourself or use their taxi service/yugo app and dont want to gamble with a hotel, this is a very safe bet.

I enjoyed the staff friendliness and willingness to assist on any issue. The room was always impeccably made up and the facilities in the room were more than adequate. I could choose between the hotel meals and preparing my own in the apartment. This is great because it gives me flexibility especially when my work hours are outside the normal meal times.

The free wi-fi was great but tended to be intermittent in coverage.

Friendly staff, daily room service, beautiful breakfast area (and restaurant), and good food, pool and gym available and in good shape, comfy bed

- Kitchen present but utensils such as pot, bowl, pan, etc. have to be rented (are charged extra per day). - Trainer was present (just hanging out), but any classes would cost extra. - Generally felt like there were a lot of hidden extra costs. - Rainfall shower, but drain cannot keep up with the water, so it overflows. - TV present, but no signal - Wi-Fi only in one room because signal too weak - High chairs to sit on bar table, except so high that legs don’t fit between chair and table

The location worked very well for me as I was there to attend meetings and not for holidays. The rooms are sizable and spacious, with great amenities. It is an apartment where you can self-cater, even though I didn't need it as I was alone on business.

The breakfast is a la carte so it was not very convenient for me, who was always in a hurry to go out in the morning. As such, I missed breakfast for the whole of my stay there. I wish there were centre rugs in the bedroom and sitting area for a much cosier feel.

This was an excellent option for a work trip to Mauritius. The central location made it easy and quick to get to Port Louis, Cybercity in Ebene, and back to the airport, without having to face too much of the island’s traffic. The apartments were well laid out and spacious, with excellent amenities. I ate a few times in the restaurant, and the food was good. But it was also easy to get to the nearby malls (especially the Bagatelle), where there were more varied dinner options. The service from the staff was really a standout. They could not be more helpful or accommodating.

The apartments had air conditioning in the bedroom, but not in the main area with the lounge and kitchenette (just a fan in there). That section of the apartment was often quite hot, so I ended up taking calls and catching up on mails from the bedroom. There were also some oddly strict check-in time rules on booking.com (between 2pm and 3pm only), while there was axtually a 24 hour reception. So that’s a typo worth highlighting.

This property use to be a clinic which has been transformed into a retreat??? Still got signs of the clinic ,ramps,call assistance buttons. Was clean and modern but a bit far out from anywhere anywhere and next to a hospital lots of nurses walking patients past our apartment.
