Overall a good stay, location was perfect for our trip. Friendly staff and good food. Good atmosphere due to beachfront location with pool, palm trees and restaurant/bar with sea view.

Rooms/bathrooms are clean, but could use an upgrade. Reception opens late in the morning, so difficult to check out early and get a receipt with the exact amount of nights. Several discussions and a phonecall with the manager was needed to pay in the evening before, and receiving a correct invoice. Not much choice for other restaurants on walking distance.

Breakfast was nice, beautiful beach and a heated pool, you have the option to do activities. Staff were really friendly especially those serving the food. Room was clean and had a good shower.

We read some other reviews after booking and then were really nervous coming, we only stayed for one night but we really liked it. Only bad thing thing is where our room was placed there was a bit of road noise.

The location, the beach, and the garden were very beautiful. The restaurant served a superb breakfast and a delicious dinner, and the bar prepared exotic cocktails. the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

The pool was ampty during our stay. On the last day, the staff was missing, the restaurant was closed and there was no breakfast. We never realized what was going on because we were in a rush for an organized boat tour.

Cocotiers Hotel provided everything the best from breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet, the bar and the service was good. Stay is close to Mauritius waterfront, theatres, mall and nature parks. Best beaches to visit near by is flic n flac, trombeau and tamarind for kayaking and snorkelling and other water sports. Complete value for money.

We saw the start of the refurb and thought that was needed, however the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff and location made up for everything!

That there was no water sports as advertised.

All Staffs are very helpful. Prefect location for a family gateaway , they views from the hotel are spectacular especially the private beach and the free boat ride. Food from the menu was average but I liked their buffet dinner with live music. Overall it was a relaxing stay at the Cocotiers.

Breakfast was good but you get the same option everyday. Their transport is very expensive compared to outside rates, it's better to hire a car as the hotel is bit far from the city center.

This hotel had the best staff. They all were extremely helpful and accommodating. With a quick bus ride or taxi you in Port Louis. We had my sister's 25th wedding anniversary on the beach, and Nitshy the marketing manager assisted me all the way.

You cant swim in beach

I booked this hotel as it was closest decent place to the capital where I had to go for some business. The hotel itself is very nice - has some small villas, nice pool area, open restaurant where they serve breakfast and amazing dinner (usually 4 course meal - had it two times and both times everything was very delicious!) and its own beach from where you can see the best sunset and make amazing photos. Room was simple and cozy - everything just like on photos)

Can't think of any drawbacks as was totally satisfied with my stay.

We had to ask to move from our first room as we were above the compressor that was noisy. We were moved to a pool view room, away from the compressor and everything was great from then onwards. The hotel is ideal location to visit Port Louis or the botanical gardens, direct access to the beach and amazing sunsets. Breakfast was really good, varied and there are watersports available although we didn't use them.

The breakfast really nice the location was also nice the fact that it’s near the beach . Those offerings services at the hotel that’s the watchman and the receptionists were nice and patient

There was no receptionist at night but it’s ok I enjoyed my stay
