As I sat in my plunge pool, I thought to myself, THIS is nirvana! Ironically, that morning, as I walked back to my room after breakfast, the sign pointing to my wing read, this way to Nirvana! How perfectly, perfect! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away, not only by the beauty of the property but the kindness of the employees. I arrived 2 days late due to a cyclone. It was about 10 PM. I was tired, hot and hungry! My bags were briskly retrieved from the taxi while I was greeted with a refreshing beverage and cool towel. I was offered a seat as my butler handled EVERYTHING! Sheeleel was so kind and attentive. I had made an off- hand comment about being hungry. Although the restaurant had just closed, arrangements had been made for a nice hot meal to be delivered to my room! And, what a room it was! Large, QUIET, and well appointed. I was there to celebrate my birthday and the hotel sent fruit and a delicious bottle of wine. The temperature of the plung pool was sooooo inviting. Not too warm, not too cold. Just, perfectly perfect! When I went to breakfast in the morning, my eggs, here's that word again, were cooked perfectly! I'm not much of a coffee person, but I decided to have one that morning. It was the best cup of coffee I have ever tasted! I thought about that coffee for a week after I left. Apparently, I'm still thinking about it. Lol I can not say enough about the property and the staff!!! They treated me like family and made me feel at home...in a very nice house! Truly a taste of nirvana!

Absolutely loved: Idyllic beach view. Safe for children. Perfect for outdoors, walk, swim, snorkel, one of a kind sunsets. Good facilities with activities for children, sea sports and gym. Excellent food at the restaurants (halal certified). Dolphin watch with a 15min trip in the seas. This resort is 'instaland" :) every corner is beautiful. It is winter in Mauritius but the weather was fantastic, mild 17-25 degrees depending on the sun! Taxis for moving around the island is just across the road opposite to the resort, all good activities are 45min to 1 hour away including in land hiking. Staff is stellar. Madame Lila from housekeeping, Lucien, Akshay, Jimmy from Concierge, Guest relations with Madame Aziza and Madame Sarika, Nicolas... the list goes on. A first name basis service. Nothing that we could not solve for. Special thanks to Mr. Rudy Periatamby, the GM for ensuring our stay was perfect as a first time for the kids. Definitely a redo. Had a blast and we will go back again!

Nothing much, it was a genuine resort experience with a very Mauritian flavor.

Our family of five had an absolutely fantastic time at Le Meridien. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The check-in process was smooth and efficient The rooms were perfect for our family, with plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved having their own room, and the king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed The hotel’s facilities were top-notch. The kids had a blast at the pool, which was clean and well-supervised. There were also a lot of inclusive day activities that kept them entertained The on-site restaurant was good. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious options.We tried the buffet on our last night and was also good. Halal food is available, just make sure you double check The hotel’s location was ideal for our family. It was close to several attractions, making it easy for us to explore the area. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with our special request for my son's 12th birthday. Also, special thanks to the concierge for helping us plan our daily activities ( Dolphin encounter & Snorkling) and making great recommendations. The hotel’s equipped with hygiene (Shattaf) Overall, our stay at Le Meridien was nothing short of perfect. We highly recommend this hotel to any family looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable vacation. We can’t wait to come back!

Breakfast menu repeats everyday

Absolutely every aspect right from the point of entry with the surreal view of the pool and sea was breathtaking… Staff, service, the effort which goes into keeping the property clean including cleaning dry leaves every morning made the hotel a great place to stay. Activities at the hotel, pool were all great. Family accommodation is very spacious with 3 sections within the room. The sofa converts into a bed even an adult can comfortably sleep on it. Music by the Waves bar in the evening is simply breathtaking with different artists performing everyday. Lot of Indian tourists who love to eat Indian food while abroad wont have a reason to compliant.. Worth every penny spent.

We faced an odd situation; around 5.30/6pm all restaurants close and to order room service meant a delivery fee of MUR 300 which was strange given that we wet ordering from the in room dining menu.

Spacious well decorated rooms with generously sized sea-facing balcony, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a lot of variety ( including Western and Eastern cuisine). The games area near the reception had pool tables, table tennis , fussball, board games and was a fun social gathering place that we enjoyed using a lot as did many other families. The gym was well equipped and spacious and our spa treatments were very good. The variety of water sports was also good including complimentary waterskiing, paddling , snorkelling etc.

Buffet dinner a bit overpriced at USD75 a head (excl drinks). The gym manager initially refused to let my 14yr old daughter use the gym even though it was absolutely empty and I was going to be present to ‘supervise”. It’s absurd and old fashioned for gyms to forbid teens access to hotel gyms as though teens do not understand and value the benefits of health and fitness.

With a 4-kid squad, we absolutely treasured the Loving and Homely Kids Club, where Shirley, Jouana and Molly made a super impression. The Massage and spa treat was a fantastic experience, Devina. A special shout out to Nicolas for the Restaurant recommendations, and to “Chef K” at Nomad for the gluten-free and lactose-free menu options. Our waiter, Umesh at Kumin (Indian cuisine- a taste of , with experience of a myriad of Indian spices) was very attentive. Leonardo and Santy, were fantastic hosts at O Jade, which we visited twice because it was worthy.

The beautiful rooms require consistency in the cleaning approach. The shower door could have been more practical. The drinks were pricey, however enjoyed the creativity of the Mixologists. Unfortunately, the glass boat trip was underwhelming. This could have been more interactive

Some of the staff where helpful beyond normal (Zhao, Zahra, Yash (Bar), but many of the staff where indifferent and didn't seem to make an effort. Having to pay for coffee and water during breakfast and dinner was not expected and even if its a small amount its not convenient to pay for water at breakfast and dinner.

Coffee was always not good and its machine coffee, the hotel should invest into a proper coffee experience especially for international clients.

1) the room was clean and large 2) the hotel is amazing and includes a big Spa 3) the beach was clean and a lot of water activities was for free 4) the staff was good, happy, smiling and helpful anytime 5) the breakfast was delicious
