Stylish and well-equipped hotel in a relaxed beach style. A nice place in a beautiful bay next to the beach, which is frequented by locals - very nice authentic Mauritian town atmosphere, you are not surrounded by tourists and sterile environment of other resorts. The buffet dinners were varied and the food imaginative and most very good. Praise must go to Anish - on the only day he was in charge of the restaurant, everything worked and he was the only one in the kitchen able to arrange gluten free pastries and even pancakes for my son for breakfast. The other praise is due to the maintenance gentleman - on arrival we discovered a leaking drain at the bathroom sink and after reporting it to reception he fixed it immediately and perfectly. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly and was very quiet.

The only thing we lacked to our complete satisfaction was a better mattress, the ones in our room were unfortunately very soft and one was sinking into them. The second complaint is about the organization of the restaurant. The staff, were very poorly organised. They were milling around, most of them very unprofessional, taking plates from under our hands but leaving dirty ones on the same table without even noticing. Everyone was doing everything and nothing, every once in a while something was missing somewhere. They brought us the bill for our drinks when we hadn't even finished eating, and once they even brought us the bill for a drinks they hadn't brought us during the whole dinner. I guess someone forgot...

Nice relaxed unpretentious atmosphere. Swimming pool was good. The beach is just over the road(road more a car park than road). There are food shacks on the beach for cheap tasty lunches and a few restaurants in walking distance. It is possible to wade across river and walk up towards Flic en Flac - restaurants and bars on way. We stayed b&b and found the breakfast fine. The price of drinks good. We found all of the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had adjoining rooms - family with 2 teens. Top tips- we did an introductory scuba dive with Pascal, (what’s app ‪+230 5728 9127‬ ) Villas Caroline hotel Flic en Flac. More cost effective than the diving in Tamarin. Great experience. We hiked the Tamarin falls without a guide ( you don’t need one). We logged on to All Trails and downloaded the gps which was very helpful. Lots of ‘guides’ telling you you need them - we just walked past on way to meet our ‘friends’. Park alongside temple walls for free do not be directed to car park! We had no hassle. Great walk. Need shoes with grips and perhaps don’t do if wet!

The hotel is well-located in the vibrant Tamarina area. The hotel is situated across the road from the local beach where you can enjoy swimming, surfing and kayaking in the river. The hotel has a beautiful family pool, as well as an adult only roof top pool where you can enjoy cocktails and getting to know new people. The rooms are well-appointed and there area beach towels and mats in a basket for your convenience. There is a cooler box in the roof which can be filled at the bar to take to your room or the beach. I highly recommend the All Inclusive package

Nothing, everything was wonderful

Hotel location, presentation appealing it's local theme and rustic decor. Restaurant very spacious and clean. Food delicious and good variety. Staff very friendly , helpful and polite. Roof top pool with sea views and additional large pool adjacent restaurant and rest room. Bedroom (basic ) with balcony , clean linen every day, lots of amenities supplied. great service from restaurant , thanks to Jannick, Amelia, Paul and the best Chef on the island is Marjorie, also made friends with Maria and Laetitia, and special thanks to Kevin for organising our mad rush to the airport.

As usual vy peaceful place and relaxing hotel. Food as usual vy good. Also the Team at Yeh Man resto and the bar were vy nice . Really appreciated a surprise birthday cake offered 2 me which will always be memorable.🥰🤩A big thanks to the whole team😇Highly appreciated 👏 🤩The swimming pool also was vy enjoyable and not crowded .I would say a perfect for a any1 who want to spend a peaceful moments.

During Tea time there was no 'gato pima' left as per menu xcept samoussa...but which was really tasty.

I liked the idea of the toilet and bathroom being separated and the well-prepared bathing items. The staff was excellent and always willing to support and assist. I called the reception at least five times daily, and they were always friendly. They quickly switched my rooms when I requested the first floor, which was seamless. My flight was delayed, and I missed checking in on the first day of my booking. To my biggest surprise, it was discounted. The restaurant was great, and the staff were always to help me plan my breakfast meals, too

Although I never used the beach from Afar, it was never an attractive sight.

Great 3 star hotel. Room was lovely and clean. Location was perfect for me as close to relatives who live on the island. It’s a fun place near a good beach for surfs. Trips can be booked from the hotel. Breakfast was great. Always found something nice to eat from the dinner buffet. Spa is lovely. Staff are kind and helpful. Felt safe in this hotel, perfect for those who want a base from which to explore the island.

Wifi is temperamental. If you need it for work, you need to ask for a room that is close to their conference centre. Not too much entertainment at the hotel, but that suited me as was looking for a quiet base.

I would highly recommend this resort as one can find kindness and warm welcome from the Hotel Director to the Front Office Desk Staff, including Jerry and his nice Event staff, Paynee with the Restaurant & Bars personnel and Housekeeping staff. I like also the fact that the Staff in general listen to Customers feedback to improve our stay and I did extend my stay.

In the first place, they forgot that I am a VVIP and I didn't like the location of my room. However, this was immediately resolved to my satisfaction.

nice location on the beach (no direct beach access from the hotel or hotels own beach), the pools, restaurants and bars are very nice and the food is mostly tasty as well. pricing for food and drinks is ok. they have all you need such as a store and a spa

The overall price for the rooms is too high. the rooms are tiny, the pool deck urgently needs to be renovated and most bars (poolside bar as well as rooftop bar) are always closed.
