If you want something cheap and affordable yet clean and high speed internet, this is the place. The bed was big enough for three people. I use the place to be centrally located downtown and drop off any bags or stuff I buy in TJ. The place is clean and they have modern smart TV. I paid about $29 on week nights. The price apparently increase on weekend so idk what the price is on weekends. The area is safe and short walking distance to the mains road on revolution. Literally less than a minute. So go ahead, give this place a try. I recommend it.

I didn’t have anything bad to say. If you are looking for fancier hotel then this may not be it. But I stayed here originally for one night and ended up extending two nights in a row. It can get cold at night since they don’t have heaters. I definitely would highly recommend if you just coming for a day trip and you want options to store belongings instead of carrying everything all day.

The hotel made me feel like I was safe, and secure. Which is a big deal for a white American tourist like myself. The front desk lady was very friendly and spoke English, which was great because it made my check-in process a whole lot easier. The room was spotless clean, no bugs of any kind, bed was very comfortable and the linens & blankets were also very clean and you could smell that they were freshly washed. The bathroom was also very clean, with a nice grey marble walled shower, and had shampoo, 2 bars of soap, and 3 towels, 1 hand towel, and 2 washcloths clean & ready to use. Secret tip to future American guests that choose to stay at this hotel,... The hotel wifi password is written on a small piece of paper that is taped onto the back of the TV remote, that the front desk receptionist will hand to you for the TV in your room when you check-in, along with your room key.

Make sure that you have a Netflix, hbo-max, Disney+, hulu, Paramount+, or some other kind of an American TV & Movie streaming channel account that you can log into on your TV in your room at this hotel, because if you don't, you will be stuck watching all Spanish channels for the duration of your stay.

Comfortable bed, clean room, and hot shower.

We left a cellphone at checkout and, unfortunately, didn’t receive a call when it was found by the staff, even though my phone number was on file with Booking.com. By the time I found out a few hours later, I was already at the airport for my departure. I was informed that the phone was being held at their reception. A call to notify me would have been appreciated. That said, the place itself is great—comfortable and clean.

Nice front desk personnel accommodating enough to allow me a substantially early check in.New high quality televisions with functioning HDMI ports and working ceiling fans, new paint in the rooms as well as bathroom area. No black mold like I saw in the Suiza Hotel room and bathroom. The Internet was fairly strong for work. Housekeeping was very attentive and considerate.

The loud remodeling construction started at like 9 in the morning and the fact that my reservations were booked for and charged for a double room but I was given a single and the front desk said that a double room simply means two people but the booking specified 2 people in a double room.....that was my only grievance.

Very clean room with towels, shampoo, and soap. The bathroom was clean with hot and cold running water.

Since it was located on the main street, noise was expected. However, there was a very loud music playing outside the hotel late into the night which disrupted my sleep. Also the same loud music started at 6:00 am coming from the outside.

walkable to the sights of centro Tijuana. the combi from the border passes in front. I arrived early in the morning and the staff held my bag while I was out sightseeing.

The property is in the middle of the downtown and near to every you might need. Clean and tidy, it’s perfect to stay couple of nights.

Because it’s located near by Revolution avenue, you might hear nosy from the street, bar and people outside.

For the price and location, you can't go wrong with this hotel. The location is a short walk from the avenida Revolution. Beds are specious and comfortable. My only complaint is that next to the main highway, so nose is an issue.

Great location to the Friendship Arch and revolution street. There's a local pharmacy right next to the hotel and also a grocery store close by as well.

In room 102, a water pipe in the bathroom constantly made water noises. Also when someone talks on the phone loudly in the center gathering, you can hear the noises very well.

The overnight gentleman was extremely helpful. He assisted me with my luggage three flights of stairs without my initiation. He is always very cordial, attentive without the pettiness. It's his genuine disposition apparently because I've stayed at Villagran more than a handful of times and he is always of the same nature.
