The property was absolutely gorgeous and was the perfect balance between boutique hotel and luxury airbnb. The bed was comfortable, room had air conditioning, and the bathroom was spacious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The continental breakfast (included) was a great start to the morning offering fruits, granola, yogurt and coffee. The location was excellent, a 10-15 minute slow picturesque walk down the hill to the city center. The rooftop offered a panoramic view of SMA!

The property was lovely but not wheelchair accessible. Wouldn’t recommend bringing heavy luggage if you select a room on the second floor. The staff will absolutely help if needed !

Given the room description on Booking.com, I was expecting a room with a private patio and a fireplace (as described in the room description). However my room had neither. I believe this is the fault of Booking.com, because when I complained to the hotel they showed me the reservation they got from Booking.com, which listed the room I was in, and not the room with the listed amenities. I was very disappointed by this, but my room was fine. I should also note that I found it impossible to complain about the room on the booking.com website, and was unable, despite multiple tries, to contact anyone at booking.com by either chat or phone.

Beautiful property with exceptional service. Amazing rooftop deck overlooking San Miguel. Such a nice stay.

The street light brightened our room through the cracks in the curtains. Enough to light up the room despite large curtains. Recommend installing blackout curtains in that room that are closer to the wall so there isn’t space for that light to get through.

The property was very quaint. I liked that it had character and limited rooms as compared to a hotel. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was very clean and sufficient space. Once familiar with the location it was just 10 minutes from the center of town and 5 minutes in a taxi. It is located in a hilly section of town so hip/knee issues may be a concern..otherwise safely walking home after a delicious dinner was a welcome relief...

Lush vegetation with calming sounds of water splashing in the courtyard. Beautiful antique cantera stone columns, floors and stairs accented with exquisite wrought iron throughout the whole hotel. Lovely rooftop patio for sunset viewing.

Guests be warned: property is located on a steep hill and you will need to be at least moderately fit to navigate this street. No elevator in hotel, so be prepared to climb stairs.

great location; walking distance to all the local attractions, restaurants, etc. taxis also available at all times & very reasonable (standard fare 70 pesos from anywhere). the property is beautiful and extremely well appointed, with attention to details in every corner. the front desk/concierge jorge bautista started helping me days before we arrived. he personally picked up a bouquet of flowers for my wife's surprise breakfast in bed and made all of our reservations for attractions, restaurants, etc. he's a native and all of his personal recommendations were excellent. tomas helped us on our arrival and although we didn't see him again, he made sure our car was safely parked and we were all ready for a night of comfort and rest. homero took his place for the rest of our stay and made sure to take care of our every need. i can't remember this kind of personal attention by the staff of any hotel, including 5-star hotels in new york, san francisco, etc

It is a beautiful property east of the plaza up a hill but walkable. Nice views.

It is not really a complaint so much as an observation. The staff worked very hard as there did not seem to be many. It is somewhat barebones for such nice property. Perhaps, the price would not be as appealing were the overhead to increase.

The property is beautiful! Quite a small boutique hotel but very picturesque. There is a terrace where guests can bring their own drinks or food, since they do not have a bar or restaurant on site. The view is beautiful from it though and lots of seating. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. They are willing to help with anything you may need on your stay. There is a light breakfast included, which was very convenient since the hotel is about 10 minutes on foot from most restaurants/cafes.

The only thing people should consider before booking is the fact that the hotel in on a hill. The walk up can be a struggle for some. The price, overall location and quality of the hotel made it up for us. But do keep in mind.

Extremely friendly hosts, nothing was an issue and they went over and above to accommodate our early check out! Breakfast was as lovely on the terrace and the fresh warm bread was a bonus. The hotel was close to everything and had a fantastic view of the town! Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great!

Beautiful property with cozy, clean and well equipped rooms. Bottles water provided each day and A/C and heating are available in the room. The rooftop terrace is great for views of the town and the neighborhood is quiet. Friendly staff.

The rooms are right next to walkways with windows facing the courtyard so basically you had to keep the windows closed at all times. The room was small and didn’t have good storage built in.
