Casa Arun is a lovely boutique hotel with exceptional customer service. Alejandro kindly assisted us with our heavy luggage at the end of the day, making our stay even more enjoyable. Miriam prepared a delicious breakfast featuring fresh orange juice, coffee, fruits, and yogurt. We had a wide selection to choose from on a detailed menu, and everything was delightful I also have to thank Brenda and the other girls in reception for assisting us in the last minutes before we left the hotel. There were four of us, and our rooms were clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Thank you Casa Arum!!!

Not a complaint, but be aware that there is no elevator and if you are traveling with senior people it can be a little challenging. Also the hotel is not downtown but there are Ubers and bus transportation that stops infront of the hotel.

This place was lovely and the staff were all wonderful. Ayisha, Sophia, Jesus and Brenda were all very warm and accommodating. It was always so nice to see and interact with them on my way out, and especially when I came back in at the end of my day - sort of like coming in and being greeted by family members. :-) The breakfast up on the rooftop terrace (great view) in the mornings was great when I could take advantage of it. It didn't begin until 9AM which is when I had to be at a workshop down near the central plaza, so I was only able to take advantage of it on three mornings. It wasn't a buffet, everything was made to order! Fresh fruit and yogurt, a few different egg options, coffee and juice. I had reservations for a 10-day stay, but upon arrival they let me know a system error had double-booked my last two nights there. For this, they put me up in a large apartment rental which was very close to the central plaza and very beautiful. Great location, but almost too big for me . . . I actually missed coming in at night and chatting with them before going up to my room. Hotel Casa Arum is about a 10 min walk downhill to the central plaza, but be sure to save a little energy for the uphill walk back home. You could also jump on one of the bus lines for 8 pesos (#7, #8, or #9) that run right up to the hotel. There also seem to be plenty of taxis available too. Just a few doors from Casa Arum is a yummy restaurant, Los Milagros Terraza, with a beautiful view of the town below, all lit up at night. Almost immediately next door to the hotel is a tiny hole-in-the-wall joint called Mr Sanchez Burgers; I didn't try the burgers, but the tacos pastor were great and he made me a delicious, fresh salad. It was a nice, close spot great for takeout.

A hair dryer in the room would have been helpful. A few more details either at check-in or added to the info in the hotel room regarding when breakfast is served and where would be helpful.

It’s not a complaint but just a comment so that people are aware. Casa Arum is about ten minutes walk down hill into the downtown. It’s a very pleasant, scenic walk with view from the mirador and lots of nice restaurants and shops along the way. It’s a steep walk back to the hotel. You can always take a Uber back and they are not expensive at all. There’s also a bus stop right outside the hotel. Also the hotel has no elevator. But the stairs are not bad and the staff helped us wit the bags. Everyone is very kind and pleasant.

I stay here 4 nights and I love the place. It’s is very quiet, relaxing and so beautiful( what you see in the pictures, that’s exactly how it is in person), the bed and the sheets so comfortable. No mosquitos. They have air conditioner working really well. Alejandro was so nice to us. Thank you some much for everything. What ever you need he can bring for you, such us iron or blow dryer. The breakfast is delicious, always fresh and coffee on point. The location is located 12 min (walking) from the center. You can take a taxi or the bus and 5 min you are there. The location it’s right next to “el mirador “ and really close to “los lavaderos del chorro” too. Personally I really like the location because everyday I got the chance to see the view of the city and right in front of the hotel You take the purple bus to the center and boom you save yourself from walking.

Maybe just a fridge. They don’t have one.

While the bed's decor and overall comfort were pleasing, its softness was slightly less than ideal for our preference—a minor detail in an otherwise splendid stay.The staff's hospitality varied, shining brighter in the morning, which suggests an opportunity for consistent warmth and accommodation throughout the day.

The property is located a bit outside of town a 10-15 minute uphill walk/hike. We are young and very athletic, it was fine for us, but I can see how that walk uphill can be a struggle for some people. So either be ready to get taxis or prepare for a steep uphill walk.

This hotel is beautiful! It's small (maybe 10 rooms). It has a very nice living area and kitchen that is available to guest. The hotel is super clean and I loved the L'occitane bath products(very high end)! The beds, pillows and linens were very nice. I loved the marbles floors and all the beautiful art. The staff was wonderful. They went above and beyond to help in anyway. Mirion cooked breakfast every morning and was willing to make any request. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The best thing about this hotel is it's a short distance from the main square but had resturants, coffee shops and drug stores near by. Walking to town is a nice walk down hill but you will want to grab a quick $5 cab back up the hill to the hotel. We will definitely stay here again.

I loved everything.

Everything was on point, the comfortable beds, the cleaning, the biggest bathroom I ever had in my life, L'Occitane cosmetics, beauty toiletry, beauty lighted mirror for makeup, huge TV with all the streaming apps, the huge shower, the 2 ambi purs for the home fragrances, the rooftop, the cocktails, the cooked food by Miriam, the presentation of Alejandro. I could easily say that it had it all.

Everything was perfect.

The hotel is in a great location with an amazing view from the breakfast terrace. I loved the great attitude by staff. Also, the breakfast was great! It's free, although I did leave a nice tip for the lady that cooked and served us. The rooms are air conditioned and very clean.

Our room had a view to the inner courtyard wich wasn't that nice. Wish that courtyard was at least nice, seemed like they where working on it or storing stuff.

Beautiful view from the roof top. Breakfast was very good. Staff were exceptional. Extremely clean property. Great roof top lounge. Nice large interior lounge space too. AC unit was a huge plus. Bathroom is quite beautiful and spacious. Bath amenities are top notch with L’Occtain soaps, shampoos etc.. Bath robes and slippers were provided.

Our room was a bit small with no view and no opening windows. The location is a long walk UP HILL from downtown. Very few dining options close by.
