Location is great! Literally steps away from the Subway Station (Independencia) and maybe 10-15 min from downtown. There are nice restaurants and cafes close by. There are two SevenEleven to buy water or snacks. The hotel might not be the newest, but certainly recently renovated (just an assumption!). The size of the room was great - 2 Queen beds, plus a little roof terrace just for myself! Bathroom has a good size and the shower works great. They supply shampoo and soap! They have an elevator in case of you bring a bit more luggage. From what I could see they have a parking space for your car (Can't say if that is free of charge or not). Staff is friendly and helpful. A big thank you to the ladies from house keeping, the room was spotless when I arrived! The whole hotel was always very clean! The room rate was great for a location so close to downtown and for what they offer!

I cannot really say there was anything I didn't like, but here are a few things to be aware of: There is a well travelled road next to the hotel. But since I always bring earplugs and a sleeping mask that didn't bother me. The upside is probably having easy access if you bring your own car. Breakfast (at an extra cost, but given the low room rate, justified!) was average, but okay. And you have other options close by.

The location was great for sights. Walking distance from Centro. We walked everywhere. 1 min from the subway station. Hotel was clean. Staff was helpful.

Not a lot of good restaurants nearby. No breakfast included in hotel. It was inconvenient. Also the hotel does not have much amenities. Just the room. But we didn't spend much time in the hotel anyway. Can get noisy at night. Bring ear plugs.

Great price for proximity of the hotel to the city centre and transport links

Right by a main road (board line on a little bit of a rough/deprived area) which was noisy at night although I did stay during the day of the dead so perhaps a little louder and than usual. Walls are thin too, was able to hear neighbours partying into the night. However when complained to the staff they did have a word and I was able to get to sleep.

The location is great. It is just opposite to one of the metro exits of Independencia. Lots of good restaurants nearby. They let you store luggage even after check out.

Walls are thin so a little bit noisy. If other guests are walking in the lobby at night, it would affect your sleep.

Close to everything

The shower needed shower curtains and also the the bathroom windows. Too much sun came through the window.

I wanted to be close to the historic center, and this hotel provided the best value. Comfortable room with excellent bedding.

Improve staff communication for those who don't speak Spanish.

Centrally located, major sites like the cathedral are walkable, and bus and light rail service are steps from the entrance. It's also clean and reasonably priced.

Toilet was slow to flush. Noise carries from the lobby to rooms upstairs.

The hotel is Clean and has spacious rooms, the location is decent with in walking distance of the numerous historic buildings, and the value is fair

There is a number homeless people close to the property

Room was clean and comfortable. NICE HOT SHOWER, good water pressure.

Light with dimmable bulb would have been helpful. A second room key for second guest would have been helpful. Would have been nice to have coffee in room.

Clean. Quiet. The first floor lounge area was spacious. The morning coffee service in the lounge was acceptable.

Unfortunately, the staff when I arrived didn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish. Based on the US reviews I assumed there would be English speakers at the desk. Additionally, there was no room service as the attached cafe was closed.
