Location was pretty good, very comfortable bed, shower had very good water pressure and the room and patio has some charm and most importantly it was very clean The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Great choice. I definitely come back to this place

The room description said that there was minibar in the room, well there was but it was locked. In a place as hot and humid for me having cold a beverage it is a good deal. Looks like the mini bar was just available if you want to buy their sodas and beers. Also, I didn't have any soap just a tiny bottle of shampoo.

Our stay here was wonderful. We all arrived during the heat dome and initially (and accidentally) booked a stay at a different place that had no air conditioner. We emergency booked at Casona Independencia and were able to easily check in immediately after booking. The rooms were comfortable and the bed was probably the best i've ever slept on. The showers were lovely and the ac was a lifesaver. Everyone there was so lovely and helpful!!! The local area was super walkable with multiple bodegas, restaurants, etc. all within the near by blocks. If it wasn't for the abnormal heat we could have gotten by with walking down to the center. My friends and I definitely plan on coming back (:

The only funny thing was that the toilet room was only private via a fogged shower door so we ended up having each other leave the room when we needed to use the restroom in order to have some privacy. NOT A BIG DEAL THOUGH as everything else was lovely. Even leaving the room to give each other privacy was no big deal because there was a beautiful garden court to lounge in.

A beautiful “casona” very centrally located in Guadalajara. The rooms are beautiful! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The bed is so comfortable and I really slept like a baby. We used the hot tub and it was great after a long day of walking and sightseeing. It is really a great dog-friendly hotel.

It would be nice if the toilet room was a bit more enclosed to allow for more privacy when using it 😊

This three star hotel should be rated higher. It is very comfortable, modern, and clean. The courtyards are a huge bonus. It was a very relaxing place in a great location. No nightclubs nearby!

My only complaint is that guests left beer bottles and cigarette stubs on the outside tables and no one cleaned them up. (My room was clean. Just not the common space.) What unkind person purposely leaves trash for others to throw out?

cute quaint little gem where you get the best of city centre and colonia Americana. the staff was always kind and helpful, specially Ms. Lupita. The neighborhood is walkable and various food and drink options within walking distance, or a bus stop across the park. there is a safe and a mini bar

4 stars is a stretch: - the stairs are steep and narrow - the room confirmation is awkward, feels like gym showers. - the walls are paper thin, I would not recommend for business travel - the closet+desk space is limited - no restaurant in the premises - the safe did not work

Amazing location, the hotel itself is very quiet and peaceful.

The open bathroom floor plan made it really obvious for my friend and me to hear each other on the toilet lol. Also wifi was bad.

Super impressed! I liked the simplicity of the room setup and always appreciate having a fridge. The patio next to my roommate felt like my own private patio. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Walking distance to so many things, in the heart of it all. Super clean room and very hot shower.

Staff was friendly, room was nice.

There were tables and chairs outside the rooms. People were constantly hanging out and talking outside my room, and the door had no sound privacy. The jacuzzi did not get very hot.

the price and location were really good. Rooms with only double bed are small so I would recommend booking twin rooms even for a couple as they have more room in shower and toilet. Host do t speak English well but are still super helpful.
