It was a great boutique hotel and the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was friendly with lots of items on hand to borrow such as chairs, umbrellas, boogey boards, sand toys. They also offered ideas on tours and places to eat around town. It was important for us to have a kitchenette and a pool that our kid could swim in. The location was excellent, a block from the main street and a few blocks away from the beach.

The noise was a little too loud for us, we received one of the six rooms closest to the street side. There are several bars across the street that play music and have live entertainment. The live music/artist atmosphere is amazing but it can go till midnight at times and wasn't ideal for a family with a toddler that has a hard time sleeping. There are also roosters across the street- normal for the area but was unexpected on how loud they can be throughout the night.

Great location! It’s right in the heart of San Pancho and easy to walk to everything. The room was nicely decorated with a cozy patio. Nice amenities and clean.

While the location is wonderful, the block the hotel is on has several roosters that crow ALL day and night. All night is not an exaggeration. I had read some reviews about the roosters prior to our stay & I kind of laughed it off, but the reviews were 100% accurate! Our room was right at the front of the hotel so we could not escape them. You could hear street noise and people coming and going from the hotel, but honestly the roosters were the biggest bummer. I’m sure the rooms in the back of the hotel are spared from this noise, so I would highly recommend trying to get a back room.

New-ish property, well looked after and in the centre of town. Small but relaxing pool area which was great after a beach day. Chío was very helpful and a great communicator, muchas gracias! Recommended if you’d like to rest in a beautiful setting.

Maybe a bit pricey but most accommodations are in the area. The first night I barely had any sleep because of the noise in the football pitch nearby, but nothing the hotel could have predicted. The hotel is a great place to relax, besides the pool area there isn’t a communal meeting place so if you want to meet people it probably isn’t the place for you.

They graciously accommodated our family of five (three small children), despite their 4 person max per room policy. The facilities were more beautiful than we could have expected, though the pool was very cold. The employees were beyond kind! We stayed in Pal.Cielo which had a very well-equipped kitchenette, comfortable king sized bed and foldout double futon. They had plenty of clean drinking water in the room. Gorgeous balcony overlooked the tropical pool area. Biggest down-side was the 3am rooster brigade every morning. The hotel location is absolutely perfect. It’s just a block and a half off the main drag, so it’s quieter than the busiest areas at night, but you can still hear music in the distance. And the best taco joint is right across the street! Well they did supply a pack and play for our youngest, there was no crib bedding available. And we did get the feeling that our children were not entirely welcomed by the other guests, as it was mostly middle to older age couples, who I think wanted a quiet vacation. Would definitely stay here again and again!

The pool was very chilly

The most wonderful and tranquil hotel we have been to in a long time. We had a gorgeous suite with a kitchen, basically every single thing you need! Free towels and chairs and umbrellas to go to the beach. Pretty pool with beautiful flowers. The hotel is visually very beautifully designed. Comfy bed and fluffy pillows. Scheduled a massage which was probably one of the best I’ve ever had, she was incredible. Staff was super nice.

The roof was plant leaves, and the bathrooms were open, with log sides. You can see people on the street when sitting on the commode, I felt like they could see me. A little weird when we got pretty sick one night. Also, many gorgeous and beautiful birds yelling from about 4 am until 8 am every single day. Did not sleep through one night, even with earplugs, which they very graciously gave us downstairs. Maybe stay on a different side?

Beautiful hotel with a nice garden and small pool area in the middle. Convenient location near the beach and all the restaurants and cafes. Comfortable beds and well equipped small kitchens in the pricier rooms.

Street side rooms are very noisy because of the traffic, nearby bars, and the roosters that begin their concert at 3 am. The sound insulation in the rooms is very poor. If you are a light sleeper, consider the more expensive rooms on the back side of the property away from the street.

Sweet spot to call home while in San Poncho. Super easy to get around town. Nice touch that the hotel has chairs and umbrellas for the short walk to the beach. The filtered water is a nice touch.

While some staff seemed ready to point us in the right direction, others seemed disinterested in our being there. Some of the rooms, ours included, are a little too exposed to the rest of the property.

Gorgeous hotel! We loved our room and our view, the kitchenette, the daily cleaning, the beach umbrella and towels, and the location.

It is loud on the third floor - it didn't bother us too much because we have a baby, but without earplugs it is noisy all day and night (music, roosters, gongs from yoga, etc.)

The property is beautiful with a lot of charm. The room I rented was a beautiful huge space with a palm tree growing through it. Such a great effect, and they set it up so no bugs can get in. The room was one huge space. Totally relaxing. I spent several evenings on the balcony reading and listening to the rain showers. The kitchen had all of the items I needed and the bathroom was well stocked.

The wifi was terrible. Barely ever had a signal in my room. It only seems to work in the front half of the property - which is a disappointment considering all of the rooms in the back of the property. I really hope they can address this. The cell signals are spotty so having wifi is really important. Also, the controls for the ceiling fans don't really work.
