It is a small family run operation. That means it is very personal and almost cozy! Staff and owners go above and beyond to help and fulfill needs. The location is super centrally located, minutes walk away from all the sights, restaurants, cafes and shops. It is located in a side road which makes it very quiet. The rooms are fairly modern, nice bathrooms, good showers. They provide drinking water in the rooms! Internet works great! They offer a continental breakfast, with toast, fruit, cereal, juice and coffee. If need you can use the kitchen to prepare small meals or bring lunch or dinner to the hotel. And it is affordable! For me this was the perfect fit!

The only thing I will mentioned is, that rooms and bathrooms are a tad small, but that didn't bother me at all.

The staff at Tres Sofias really go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They are friendly, informative and really give a "homely" feel while respecting privacy and being professional. The location is fabulous, a quiet neighbourhood just a few minutes walk from Plaza de Armes. There is a lovely continental breakfast included with hot options available at reasonable prices. It is also nice that you can use their clean kitchen to self cater. We booked a 2am drive to the airport with this hotel and were so very glad we did. Roger was a great driver who went out of his way to get us to our flight on time when a traffic delay caused the main road to be blocked. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Queretaro!

Initially, we worried about the noise when we saw our room was off the main corridor just down from the office. But it was not a problem at all! This family run hotel was a quiet oasis!

It was a place like home, cute room, quiet, safe, very clean and comfy. Good breakfast and really, really nice staff. Conveniently situated, with an excellent French bakery next door as well as a lavandería. Some 200m uphill there was a lovely plaza with an excellent café/restaurant, which belonged to the bakery. Highly recommended - El mercado de la Cruz, where they sell local produce, above all, excellent cheese. It's 15 minutes' walk.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very good, central and walking distance to main attractions, the old town. Quiet street, breakfast was unexpected. Overall good

My only complaint was the bathroom! Shower was slow draining. Also toilet was very slow draining had to flush several times, was extremely tiny, literally the door hit the toilet, not enough towels. Had two the day I arrived but next day they took the one I used just to dry my face. And did not replace it. The building was very narrow. But the room was ample.

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Tres Sofia, Its a family run place. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Some rooms are not so big but it was fine for me. No airco but the fan was enough for me. The location is great, walking distance to the centre and main attractions and many nice places / cafes in the area. Staff are very friendly. Small breakfast with fruit and juice and other things can be ordered and there is a kitchen. Staff are very helpful with any questions. Someone is at reception 24/7. Thanks again Pepe and team!

This is a family run hotel and you are treated like you are part of the family. They have a lovely continental breakfast that is ready at 8:00 a.m. sharp and you can use the kitchen facilities.

The location was perfect, safe and walkable distance to many of the plazas nearby! The hotel was cute and I loved the history of it. I felt safe in the hotel and the staff/Pepe was super friendly and helpful! The room I stayed in had a fan.

It was pretty hot in the room even with the window open and the fan on, but to be fair I'm used to an A/C being on all the time. I'm sure if you aren't a gringo from TX like me it will be fine.

This is a family run business spanning over 100 years. The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed my stay.

The breakfast was included but some of the choices were not healthy, but it was possible to order à-la-carte for other options. All in all, still good.

I had to work remote for three days and the WiFi was strong and reliable for video calls throughout the day. I had a room facing the street but thankfully they have double or even triple pane windows for sound proofing. The fan inside the room was sufficient to stay comfortable in the bedroom. It's a small bedroom but the attention to detail with many places to store bags and personal items made the room very efficient. The breakfast of fresh juice, fruit, yogurt, toast, plus free coffee and tea throughout the day is great. The place is very clean, homey, and staff are friendly. Bonus is the best bakery we found in Queretaro is literally a few buildings down from the hotel with excellent European style croissants, fresh bread, and other tasty delights.
