Artful decorated small boutique hotel with only 6 rooms. Nice bathroom with rainhead shower. We had the room in this picture which had no window to the street. There was a frosted window to the corridor to let in natural light. There is a night club on the same street open Thurs to Saturday. It is very noisy, less so for our room without a window to the street. It's in a great location in the historic centre close to bars, restaurants, museums and boutiques.

No elevator as it is an older historic building. The owner helps carry your bags up and down the stairs which is nice. If you have bad knees as I do it's a bit hard going down the stairs.

This hotel had a number of Pros including convenient location in the historic city center, friendly and helpful owners/staff, and comfortable outdoor terrace. The rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable and overall we were very happy with our stay. One thing to note is that the beds were VERY firm. If you like a firm mattress, then you'll be happy. If you like some give in your mattress, then you will likely find the mattress to be uncomfortable.

There were only a couple of Cons that I can think of including the "hot" water is more accurately described as "warm" and the shower in our bathroom had a window that overlooked the stairs in the hotel hallway. If someone were walking up the stairs while we were taking a shower and the window was open, they'd get a chest-up view of whoever was in the shower.

Excellent location right in the historic heart of Querétaro, a short walk to the Plaza de Armas and Jardin Zenea. Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable, with modern air conditioning, decent shower and a mini-bar/fridge to keep drinks cool.

The hotel has narrow stairs and no lift, although the staff helped to take our luggage to the room. Some of the fixtures/fittings are a little flimsy and rough around the edges. Breakfast is not provided at the hotel, but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby that offer breakfast options.

Location in center of town so walk-able to places I wanted to visit. Staff was very friendly and offered suggestions places to eat. Easy to access the building and room.

Club half block away was very loud Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night until 2am.

For me hotel Damiana is all about the owners. Super friendly and always available for any request. The excelent location also played a huge role in my good experience.

Room was a bit smaller than I was expecting and didn't ressembled much like the promo pics. Also the hot water took a long time to arrive and the steps on the upper room were a bit loud. Not a big problem for me because I'm a heavy sleeper but anyways a little more isolation wouldn't hurt. Finally the fact that we need to ring at the door at night makes us feel a little bad about coming back late because we'll have to wake someone up to open the door.

The location was great and it was a great place for a one night stay. The staff was very kind and polite but did not speak much english.

The room was quite small and we did not have a window. Maybe a little bit stuffy room but still clean. Would not stay there for a long time but a great place for a short stay.

For the price of the room, cleanliness and location were exceptional and all the help I received from the staff was invaluable as I had just arrived in Mexico and do not speak any Spanish. As solo female traveler I was so well taken care of.

The receptionist is more than great. He had done everything to make our short stay comfortable. He even gave us a jar of water. The beds are very comfortable. The size of the room was okay. The location is probably the best possible.

More hangers in the bathroom would be great.

location, comfort, good showers, clean, very nice staff. rooms are well designed with good lighting (warm instead of bright white).

codes are used to enter the rooms which is fine however contacting the staff to enter and leave the building after hours is awkward and inconvenient. providing a key to the front door or installing a key code lock would be much better.

The location was perfect, right downtown. Lots of restaurants nearby, as well as museums. A great place to explore the city.

The parking garage was close by, however because of the network of one-way streets, it took a surprising amount of time to get there during rush hour traffic.
