I liked the small kitchen in our room. The A/C was plenty cold. Was really cool to see the Cruise ships just outside our windows everyday. The ocean view was awesome and relaxing. The snorkeling was spectacular at the seaside of the hotel.

Parts of the Hotel were under construction. The water and coffee in the room was not provided for after the first day. The internet was not complimentary. The driveway at the front of the property was broken concrete and stones, very dangerous to walk on. The mosquitos were horrible after dark.

good gym, nice pool and access to beach for swimming, jacuzzi with bar access was a nice touch

probably my fault for not reading this but WiFi is not free and expensive per day - seems silly to not have this offered in this day and age pizza was very poor, looked like it was a frozen pizza from a supermarket which was a shame considering it was a ‘wood fire’ pizza

This property Exceeded my expectations! Right on the water, everything was so close on the resort. If you want to adventure outside resort, you can walk to so much!!!

There was NOTHING i did not like about this place.

The water is always clear and great for snorkeling! The staff were absolutely amazing and the food was great!

The bed was a little uncomfortable.

El Cid,La Ceiba has a great location and a natural pool. There are stone steps into the ocean. Love it.

The service of the Staff was on point. And the taste of the food was amazing, great variety of dishes on the buffet and Mexican show was very entertaining. Very clean and peaceful.

Breakfast was amazing. We really liked the activities that the hotel offered like karaoke night and Pool volleyball.

I didn’t like the small elevators.

The location of the beach was beautiful and the outside area is great with deck chairs , huts for shade, hammocks in the water. Our suite was very spacious. They made up our beds each morning with a Cute sculpture made out of a towel.

It’s a little dated. Things that weren’t working properly- Air conditioning , , tv remote. They fixed both when we complained. No hot water two out of three nights, some of my washing got lost and then found.

Great value. We like the location, close enough to town but far enough south to save some time getting to dive sites. And a place to park our scooter for free !! Jose at the front desk is always very helpful !! Will be back there in early August.
