The resort is excellent. Overall staff are attentive and accommodating for all your needs. The food options are good each restaurant asks about food allergies, and the wait staff are engaging with their guests. The fish shack on the beach was our favorite! The buffet was the least favorite due to food temperatures however, there were plenty of options for everyone. .

Our group had four rooms and they were all dirty, smelling of mold/mildew, and one of the rooms had water actively leaking from the A/C vent. Maintenance staff did a cover-up fix that was noticeable that evening.

We traveled as a family of 5. 2 adults and 3 children. ages 6, 3 and 1. We stayed in the governors 2 bedroom suite which was wonderful for family! 3 full bathrooms and 2 bedrooms and 1 living room. 3 balconies. It was great! The kids club was great and is available to play and do crafts from 10 am to 1 pm and then they do pool activities in the afternoon. The breakfast was fabulous but lunch and dinner seemed lacking. We are vegetarian though so we did not have as many options as we would have wished to have but we understand not all places are as prepared. The staff did a great job going over and beyond to ensure we had things to eat though. They would even do some meals especially for us so we were grateful for their wonderful service. The beach area still is available but no services offered. When they get the area opened up again it will be a remarkable place again but we loved the resort even without the beach services. It appears as though the government is controlling who can use their beach areas and who cannot so we are not sure when it will be available again. We did bring our own snorkel equipment and the water outside the resort was splendid! Lots of fish to see and very clear water. The pool was a lot of fun and never crowded. Music was great. My wife got a massage at the spa and loved it. Service was overall very good.

We would love to see more vegetarian options on the menus and buffet. The pool does need remodel. The tiles are missing in spots and the pool needs to be cleaned more often. Not sure if there is a filter system for the water as it can develop a film on the surface in the corners when windy. Pool needed heated a little more during the winter months. The beach area will be great when it is available again. They do ask you to hear about the time share opportunities during your stay but we did not do it as we had our hands full with our children and activities we had already planned.

Breakfast was wonderful at the Vine del Mar which faces the water. Staff was very attentive. Alejandra was our wonderful, friendly and attentive hostess each morning. I enjoyed their fresh fruit and healthy options and COFFEE and my husband enjoyed custom made omelettes and other goodies every morning.

The rain shower head was not my favorite since little to no water pressure and water for shower never heated up. Not a big deal.

The Fiesta was what I would describe as a good value for money, that I do appreciate. The staff was very friendly and helpful, food was good at all the restaurants.

It is older and structure itself is a little run down, that would be fine but when advertising as Five Star it sets a certain expectation that it does not meet when comparing to other Five Star facilities. There was also some construction going on during our visit that caused a minor irritation.

Smaller resort, so no huge crowds, which was a huge plus for us! The beach club, the pool, enough space for everybody. Safe, clean, friendly! We felt well taken care of from the moment we arrive until we left. The buffet food was OK but for a foodie like me, I preferred the restaurants. We had an amazing chef, special dinner, that I still dream about! Breakfast buffet is good, order omelettes, or quesadillas!!

Rooms were very nice, spacious and clean. Bar area was nice with limited selections. Great snorkeling right in front of the property. Be sure to snorkel south of the pier. Loved that no one was trying to sell us stuff. Breakfast buffet was excellent - lots of options. Get the grilled garlic fish tacos for lunch.

Pool was clean but in need of tile replacement.

This resort has everything, great location, amazing food, friendly staff and snorkeling at their own beach. It is family friendly and has a really fun vibe without being the crazy party you find at some of the other all inclusive resorts. This place feels really authentic and offers a local feel.

Beautiful property, excellent location. The presidential suite was massive. Everyone was so nice.

The beachside pool area and all facilities on that side are closed but it doesn’t say that anywhere on their website or on Booking. It seems intentionally misleading.

Food was great and the service overall even better! Facilities need to be updated and there was only one pool active, which was not ideal when traveling with a baby

Facilities could use a nice update!

This was 6th time and this is our favorite AI, staff is awesome. Facilities clean, food good.

Ocean front is still not open, going on 2 years, yet photos still show open, many upset people who have not been to this FA did not know this. We were aware, we still used the ocean front, but it would be nice to have restrooms and service. Also did not like babies with diapers on in the pool.
