The value for money you get here is simply unbeatable. The room was clean and large enough for 2 people to feel comfortable in. The A/C worked perfectly well. The location is great - it’s in a quiet area but still just a short walk away from 5th Avenue and the beach. Make sure to try the breakfast spot on the corner and Resaka’s Park across the street - their food is to die for!

The bed was not super comfortable as the mattress is very hard. The included breakfast is also nothing special. For this price, though, I absolutely cannot complain!

Small quiet hotel, apartment with two spacious clean rooms, plus balcony. Kitchen well equipped. Smart TV. Breakfast brought to the room is very basic, but still well appreciated. Small swimming pool on the roof. Even a little library. Location is good, few steps to 5th Avenue

Bathroom could be better cleaned, overall appartment and furniture are a bit dated. Beaches are 15 - 20min walking, but we found water murky and smelly. We choose to avoid swimming all together

The hotel staff were so lovely & helpful. The views from the roof top were awesome. The Family Suite that we stayed in was pretty good. Fab cafe next door & Mexican restaurant diagonally across. Very near the main tourist stuff/beach. Good value for money.

Intermittent WiFi, very basic breakfast, noises outside the Family Suite we stayed in ie cockerel, dog barking, people chatting late & late use of multi use games area. If you want to cater for yourself - very limited kitchen equipment

Clean, modern and comfortable rooms, good location just 5 mins from 5th Avenue and the beach, great rooftop pool. Beds were made everyday and towels changed. Staff friendly. Supermarkets nearby.

Breakfast- although it was sufficient for two- a bowl of cereal/milk, pre toasted bread, fruit, coffee and juice. We were surprised when told it wasn't available to our two children. We shared it with them (and bought our own food) but can't understand why the children can't have the same. Kitchen facilities are very basic if you want to cook but we managed.

We were greeted by Aderi at the front desk, always smiling and willing to help. She gave us tips on where to go around town, including a discount for a beach club (10 min distance walking) and special bracelets for our tour to Xcaret for a free souvenir! The hotel in general was spotless and modern; cozy terrace to chill at the beds next to the pool or play games at the tables.

Only on one occasion we noticed our door unlocked after they cleaned our room buuuut they have cameras on every floor which made us feel safe and after we told front-desk about it they made sure it wouldn’t happen again. They truly seemed ashamed of something like that happening.

This Hotelito is approx. 8 blocks to the beach. It is a quiet neighbourhood, approx. 5 blocks from the tourist 5th Avenue. We had previously reserved this hotel in the past and were quite satisfied, therefore decided to return this year. The property is very secure, with 24/7 staff at the reception and key pass front door. The rooms are large and well kept. The pool is on the smaller size but it is in a pleasant location, with umbrellas and lounging chairs on the 6th floor upper deck. The best attribute of the hotel is its staff. Gina, the manager, is efficient and her staff is very friendly, helpful and kind. Victor the caretaker. Adery and Manuel, at reception, Anna, our housekeeper were all very approachable and helpful. They are helpful and caring of quality service. We will hopefully be returning next year to enjoy Hotelito Del Mar and Playa del Carmen.

Nice rooftop area at the building a few blocks off 5th Avenue. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The breakfast is very basic, but it is great to have a kitchen in the room. The hotel is very clean and everything works. The wifi is great and individual for each room, the rooftop and the lobby.

Basically, some eggs to accompany breakfast would have been nice, but it was still satisfactory.

Really friendly staff, big two bed apartment with a TV in each bedroom (with Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max), very comfortable beds, and the rooftop pool/terrace was beautiful - we had it to ourselves almost every time we went up. Each room has separate WiFi which was really fast for 90% of the time (we stayed for a week). There were three seperate aircon units which meant we could adjust the settings for each room. The location is away from the main strip of Playa del Carmen but only a 10minute walk to the beach and a 30min walk to the centre.

Only a couple of very minor points - the kitchen could have done with a few more plates/utensils etc as there were only two plates and two bowls for four of us! A clothes airer or line would also be really helpful for drying out wet swim gear/towels. And there was only one main light in the bedrooms - a reading light or lower level lighting would have been nice.

Beautiful, modern apartment with fully equipped kitchen and nice balcony. Huge windows, comfy bed, peaceful surroundings. Lovely bathroom with walk-in shower. Quiet neighborhood but walking distance from beach and restaurants. Wonderful top floor patio with pool and views. Great street tacos next to AKI supermarket!

Rate was higher than informed in Booking.com when we made our reservation and all the taxes were not included in the price either.

Close to the shops and beach. Beds are extremely comfy. Very good wi-fi. Cleaning service every day.
