The hotel is ideally situated in town, close to the beach, bars, restaurants and local amenities. The staff were great, special mention for Arturo at the rooftop bar who provided excellent service.

The one slight disappointment is that the hotel let non residents up to the top pool bar area, this means that occasionally it isn't possible to get a lounger and can be a little crowded. We were also told that the premium spot loungers with the best view are an additional charge of $250USD per day which is excessive and amounts to more than our room per night.

The location worked perfectly for us. We had a couple days of meetings at another hotel about a mile away and it was good to get walks in early and late to and from. The breakfasts were really great. The staff was attentive and the food choices were great and reflective of the region. Things have changed since my first trip to Playa in the early 80s…then it was really just a jumping off stop to get to Cozumel.

Love the location ..love the roof top pools and hot tub ..staff was so wonderful .. loved there was breakfast included

I feel the pool deck needs to be replaced .. too many loose boards .. wish every room had a balcony so it's easier to dry your wet clothes

Everything was clean, comfortable,pool area was nice and relaxing. The location was great, easy to walk to stores and ferry. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family

Hotel is very central, you have easy access to the beach, easy access to the bars and easy access to the shopping areas. Also the swimming pool on the top is quite cool.

Good restaurants in the hotel. it has its own activities inside. The ubicación is very good. You are a block away from the 5th Avenue.

We stay 1 week in the hotel. One elevator Is not working. you have to wait around 10-15 minutes to go down or up. I don’t know how a great hotel like this. That it’s not cheap wait so long to fix the elevator. Or probably they should make a discount to the guesses or give one free breakfast at least.

Great convenient location

The change in pool policy day of departure we were told we had to pay for pool beds. They were nice and let us stay but asked to leave before 2 hours. It was the only reason we booked the room for the one night. For this reason we probably wouldn’t stay again.

Everything at this hotel was wonderful, so clean and so easy to walk everywhere. The terrace and pool are so beautiful and the food is incredible! We came for our anniversary. I booked by mistake at Hotel Boutique Kinta Kan that was closer to the beach that supposed to be a 4 stars hotel, and only stayed there the first 15 min and left. We lost our money but it was so worthy to just leave and book instead with this amazing hotel. I do not like to complaint but do not want other couples like us to have this bid disappointment, do not book Hotel Boutique Kinta Kan, everything was oxidized, the bathroom licking everywhere and not clean at all. We could not open the door to the room because it was all rusted.

The location was in the heart of the venues. All I. Walking distance. Worked out well. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel

Floors in room were a little gritty, could have been a little cleaner. However, slippers on your feet prevented feeling the residue on bottom of feet.

Alejandra was wonderful. She was professional and made efforts to try and make our stay a better one. It was appreciated.

At 11:50PM and the staff is still moving furniture around the pool and bar area that was supposed to be closed at 10. Needless to stay, my family cannot sleep. Do not stay on the 4th floor no matter what they say the hours are. Also, when we checked in we were not greeted by a hotel worker but rather someone who sat us down for 15 minutes to sell us on a timeshare. After a 14hr travel day this is the last thing you want. I expected it but at least let us check in. When we were able to check in the only thing the person at the front desk did was try and sell us on an upgraded room. No welcome, no information on the hotel, the food, how anything works, etc.. just that we could pay extra for "the only room available for upgrade". Sorely disappointed.
