I had a good stay here. The room was nice but for me it was the really warm and friendly welcome I got from Enrique. He was super kind and helpful, all the while I was trying my Spanish and him trying his English the best we could. Secondly it is ideally placed if you’re getting around the yucatan peninsula by ADO. It’s super close!!

Be prepared to hear the bass of electronic music. I think it’s unavoidable if you’re that close to the main entertainment area. I’m still undecided about the 50pesos to leave your bag. It’s not huge amount but also there was no real security for my things. When I came back it was just sitting there in the corridor.

The location was perfect, not too far, not too close. A nearby dance club was audible but not annoying. The owner is fantastic and so are his staff (and his cat). It is not a luxury stay but punches above its' weight class in cleanliness, location, friendly staff and superior management. We will likely return here next year. The cat likes to invite himself into your room, so be prepared to have company or else be vigilant about opening your door if you don't consort with felines. He is very friendly and very vocal.

Nothing really comes to mind. The place is great.

Don't hesitate, book this hotel! 1. Location – When you step out of the hotel, the beach is right there, less than a minute's walk away, as well as the main street, shops, and restaurants. The location couldn't be better! :) 2. The Hotel – The hotel is excellent, with a beautiful garden and great rooms. Everything was impeccably clean and tidy. We stayed here for 10 days, and we didn't miss a thing. 3. The Staff – The most important factor that gives this hotel that special touch is the people who work here. They were extremely kind and always there to help with anything you need. A big thank you to them! Our vacation was amazing, and we would always come back here.

location was PERFECT! it's literally 1 block from Quinta Avenida which is the city center where you find everything: food, stores, travel agencies etc. and 2 blocks from the beach. very safe, area also, very touristy. the hotel is cute, staff was super friendly, bed was comfy, good sized room. you also have a small balcony with a hammock. important: all hotels in this area you WILL have loud music coming from the nearby clubs cause they are everywhere. is it great? no. but in playa you either choose location OR slience (or both if you have unlimited amount of money, which is not my case).

window didn't lock all the way which made me a bit nervous (given the safe was broken) but felt super safe regardless so not a deal breaker.

It's nice place with perfect location. Friendly staff. The location is very close the main touristic street and the beach, but it's not loud at all. The main street is extremely loud in the night, but in the room I couldn't hear too much, so it was perfect. The wifi also worked without any problem (for basic things on telephone).

Before coming they send (multiple times) automated message to click some strange link to 3rd party webpage. It's unusual and it's against security and privacy rules. So, if you protect your personal data.... In the end I checked-in ignoring such link without any problems, so I don't understand why they do it.

Close to beach and shopping. Pleasant staff. Very clean. Nice decor with comfortable bed and pillows. Fan, AC, safe, mini fridge, bottle of water. Personal hammock on small patio. Pretty treed courtyard with palapa lounge. Earplugs (essential) provided.

The wooden frame on the large front window is damaged so the lock no longer functions. The window frame can be pulled open when standing on the ground floor patio. An alternate window lock should be installed. The room is adjacent to the staffed check in area so there is some security but also noise from guests. Extremely loud pounding music from adjacent clubs. Sleep only possible with earplugs in and fan and AC on.

Good position, close to the center but not in the middle of the chaos; nice room for a very reasonable price; nice atmosphere (palms, hammocks, etc.); the Italian owner is very nice and helpful and I felt safe all the time (they have staff 24h at the reception)

My room needed some small renovations works, but nothing that affected my stay (especially for what I paid for, a very good price). I got cut while shaving and a I lost some blood on my towel, they made me pay like 10 euros for the "damage": I would have loved them not to ask me to pay for that since it was an accident, but I understand they have a business to run!

Clean, comfortable rooms anf the staff were really great.

I didn't expect it to be so noisy at night, but that is because it's closer to the nightlife spots than I imagined.

Quiet and clean place, very nice place to stay downtown.

It was exactly the way it’s described. So close to the ADO bus terminal, Cozumel and most of the tour pick up areas. Its location is perfect! So many shops and restaurants to go to. You can easily get on a bus from the Cancun airport and be two blocks from your hotel. Hop on a bus and get to Tulum in an hour! The staff was so pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I’ve already rebooked my second trip with this place and will again in the future!

Water pressure in the shower is not the strongest but I’ve heard it is true for most of the boutique hotels. Also if you are a water drinker or coffee lover like me, fill up your bottles before 10 pm. The water dispenser is put away. There is no coffee pot in the rooms or in general area but there are places you can get coffee, just have to get dressed and get across the street :)
