Perfect location and value for money, would stay again. When I arrived the cleaner greeted me and gave me the option of two different rooms. One had a balcony right over fifth so I chose that one! Unbelievable value having a one bedroom (separate bedroom, but an archway rather than a door) apartment with a dining (four chairs)/full/kitchen/smart TV and balcony opposite a great restaurant. And in between possibly the two biggest clubs - Santinos and The Roof (I think) - so I only had practically a 30 second walk home at night and could not face any trouble or be stopped by extorting police. People who are not looking to party and complaining in every review about the noise, did you even Google where this place is? It's not for the quiet lovers but the partiers. Plenty of places not right in the middle of the action like this. There's no reception stopping you, just a key to a locked gate, so it's easy to bring in guests at any time. There was a fan in the bedroom, and a sizable vanity chest with a mirror to get ready, as well as plenty of drawers etc to unpack. Oh and when you turn down to the beach you soon come to Fusion Beach Club, which was my favourite and better than all the expensive beach clubs that made you do a minimum spend and were quite a bit further away.

Nothing! The key to the gate always worked, unlike the AirBnB I stayed at last year! But it is weird that you have to use the key to unlock and get out (seems standard though), which is a huge safety hazard. Oh and the bed only had a sheet: luckily I had already read that in reviews and brought my sleeping bag as a doona as I would have had the same issue in my Cancun condo. So bring a sleeping bag if you prefer a doona/duvet/some thickness. Bathroom is ensuite. I didn't like being woken up at 9am two mornings by cleaners, but found a Spanish-speaking friend to ask the cleaners not to come again unless I requested something on WhatsApp. Might not have been able to do that myself tho as there was no Do not Disturb sign.

Clean, two rooms plus bath, right on 5th Avenue, near bus station, close to beach, great price. There is a nice relaxing area on the roof.

Very loud next door until 3:30 a.m. but to be expected on 5th Avenue. Nice staff offered me another hotel, but I wanted to stay. Staff is there only minimally. Would liked to have had help getting luggage up and down stairs. No first floor. No pool. Minimal kitchen equipment. No pots or pans.

Convenient location and WiFi worked as there is the modem close to power outlet under TV. Spacious room(but furnitures were old fashioned) with air conditioning. Sandra (reception at Beach Balance Hotel) when we did check-in was very helpful.

First of all, we couldn't find the reception of our hotel therefore a person at the next shop told us to go to another hotel located at turn to the left from here. Anyway I called and it was Beach Balance Hotel. Hotel should offer/inform the check-in process and detailed information including breakfast restaurant when sending confirmation to guests. Anyway, I already asked about the location of a sister hotel for continental breakfast before arrival. All towels were poor quality. NO complimentary bottled water * Noisy circumstance caused by Bars around hotel is not hotel's fault. The solution is to use earplugs, which I did.

You don’t get a much better location than this building. Located on the main strip for restaurants, bars and shopping. An absolute steal of a price for the amendities and location of the building. Staff were really friendly always. Would highly recommend!!

Great location, spacious room with a nice size kitchenette.

Having to climb up to the 4th floor which may not be an issue for all. The shower head didn’t have pressure and the smell from the restroom which seems to be very common in most hotels.

This place is absolutely great for the location. The staff is really attentive and ready to help with any info you need. It's located right on 5th Av, which is the place where you need to be at Playa

The address listed for the stay is not the address for the reception desk to check in. The information needs to be updated. The breakfast is down the block at another hotle. You need to check in st the reception desk first to pick up your tick. If you are driving they have no parking so you have to part on the street around the corner or use a paid parking spot.

Location, nicely equipped

A little too noisy for us but noise cancelling headphones helped. Music is going until 3 am in that area and trash pickup for the restaurants starts at 3 am.
