The hotel is right at the beach and they have a dedicated area for the guests of the hotel, just what we were looking for. The staff was extremely kind, at the reception and in the restaurant as well. We bought breakfast as well and it actually exceeded our expectations a lot. Every morning we got a cup of freshly pressed orange juice and as much coffee as we wanted, 4 little sweet rolls with butter and jam, and we could choose anything from the breakfast menu, which was plenty (chilaquiles with a lot of different toppings, scrambled eggs or omelettes with 3-4 different fillings and a side, pancakes, French toast, normal toasts, eggs Benedict, etc.). I was actually pretty sad that we couldn't have breakfast on the last morning, because we had to leave early to the airport. Our room had AC and a fan as well, even a mini fridge. The bathroom looked really lovely and the shower itself was huge. We could ask for cleaning without changing of the sheets, which I found very nice and a good step towards putting less negative impact on the environment. We did ask for cleaning, because of all the sand we brought into the room and we were not disappointed with the cleanliness. Another great thing my husband pointed out was that even though the hotel is close to the main avenue where there are plenty of bars and restaurants (two huge bars just on the corner) and the music is always loud, you cannot hear a thing in the room, or it's very, very quiet, so much that you only hear something when you actually pay attention. For someone like me, who needs a very quiet environment to be able to sleep, it was really awesome. And if we're at the location, it's worth mentioning that it's approximately 10 minutes by walking from the bus stop, and around 10-15 minutes from the ferry station.

The mini fridge in the room, however useful, it looked a bit old and my husband said he thinks it smelled weird. There were some stains on one of the sheets, but they didn't look like as if they were dirty, only as something that has been used for a while, and maybe there was some stain on it that does not want to come out, even after numerous washings. We got shampoo, shower gel and body lotion in the room, but they all come in tiny plastic bottles. I mentioned earlier that there is an option to ask for a cleaning, but not the changing of the bedsheets or the towels, which is great, and I think for the hotel it might be a nice step forward to use refillable bottles in the rooms instead of the tiny ones that just end up on the landfill.

The location is AMAZING! Very cute/aesthetic Beachfront property, right by 5th avenue and about a 7 min walk from parque fundadores , ferry to Cozumel and ADO Bus station. The breakfast we included in our booking by the beach in their restaurant was really good. They give you coffee, juice and you get to pick a dish from their selected menu. We had the chilaquiles with chicken and enchiladas suizas plus you get to enjoy the beautiful views as you eat.

The best part was the service at the restaurant. Cesar, Fernando, pablo, and Emilio were great. They exceeded themselves on giving us the best service. The food tasted great. The room was basic but clean. Location is perfect. Close to ferry, bus station and the famous 5ta Avenue.

The free breakfast choices were limited.

Large rooms with private access from yard, private and calm internal yard, private beach, good breakfast, restaurant inside the hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful front desk.

Room was not cleaned and garbage was not removed. Some of non-essential stuff was old and broken: one of power outlets, blinds rope, faucet dispenser. But it did not affect much our stay. Also there is no vehicle access to the hotel entrance: you need to walk about 200m from nearest point of access.

The location is absolutely the best! Beach front and just steps away from the 5th Ave. beautiful courtyard and a great, beachfront restaurant. Breakfast - great choices and very tasty. The most pleasant, accommodating staff ever! Shout out to the front desk staff- hola Lupita! (And others the names I don’t remember). Pedro - you have a great team! Gabriel, Eduardo, Daniele, Angel and Cesar - we see how hard you work and appreciate you. Finally, to our new friends Daniele (the security guy) and Laura (massage) - meeting you made our vacation so much better! Gracias ☀️

The room we stayed in needs major renovation- both beds felt broken and were squeaky (mattresses were very comfy). All different, old, misshapen pillows and sheets that used to be white but are seriously warn-out with old, washed out stains and some holes. No blankets or comforters, just a flat sheet. Beach towels in similar condition.

Had a wonderful week stay here! I stayed in an oceanfront room and the view was just magical, the room had been recently renovated so it was really nice. The staff were so friendly and kind. Loved the included breakfast in the restaurant and being able to try all the different items on the menu each day. Location was excellent, right in the heart of all the excitement.

The only thing this hotel is missing is a pool, as the ocean isn’t the best for swimming with all the seaweed. But other than that, loved it!

Staff at the fron desk is awesome. Very kind people (Azaleth y David). We also had a private balcony facing the garden which was very nice in the morning.

Very noisy room. There is a bar next to the hotel which has loudly music until late. Since the room (208) was above the reception, you can hear all the noise irrespectful guests make at any time. Despite the hotel has access to the beach, the beachfront is managed by different administration (restaurant) and they expect you to consume in order to make use of the facilities. Internet available only in common areas, is very poor and they have an issue between restaurant and reception networks because both have the same name but different passwords, so you have to forget every time, the network in order to connect properly.

Absolutely beautiful facility with a very natural garden vibe. Outside my room was small patio that was surrounded by giant palm trees and globe lights. Peaceful and serene. The gate to the beach is locked at night and so is the door on the street. There is a doorman there. I came down around 4:30 am to walk on the beach and had to gently wake the snoozing door man and in our half english half spanish conversation and a little charades I figured out he was trying to discourage me from the beach due to crabs. Instead I opted for a book from the pretty impressive collection in the lobby. I was in PDC in January and stayed at the hotel next door which is now out of business, I am so glad I came across this GEM!

My only complaint was that I had to leave!

We loved the room, a junior suite, on the 2nd floor overlooking the beach. Access to LaQuinta was perfect. Impressed with security precautions. Breakfast , included, was awesome, a lot to choose from. We would stay again.

SARGASSOM, seaweed, mounds of it. I had read it was up this year but I didn't expect the extent of it. Bulldozer constantly pushing it to try and clear. It was everywhere in PDC. NOT Pelicanos fault I do understand. Too many stairs. No elevator. I'm ok with stairs but not a place for the disabled. The room had a slow toilet and as I have found low water pressure in the shower and takes quite a while for warm water let alone any hot water. One more thing, I know &understand the wanting to be water conservative, but just 2 bath towels, no wash rags ,and one sink towel. But they have a hot tub that takes a tremendous amount of water. Any way, the room could use a microwave and hair dryer. Not sure if available by request. Wifi is weak too.

We booked beachfront and that's what we got. It was great to be a little away from Fifth Avenue, but still we heard the 'doof doof' of the music until the early hours. If noise is a problem, then beachfront might not be best for you, as after the bars close there tends to be noise on the beach from people partying on. The breakfasts were lovely and we were able to get beach chairs and umbrellas each morning without issue. Strange system with the token and towels though. Doesn't make sense having to have a token and hard to get towels exchanged on a Sunday.

Bedroom floor was sticky from some type of cleaning product. Also, each room needs a mat to brush of sand before entering rooms.
