Hotel Delfin was a great, safe place to get some rest while not out enjoying Playa Del Carmen. Great location at a great price. Two minute walk to the beach and right on 5th Ave in the middle of everything. Ten minute walk to Walmart. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked very well, plumbing was good, nice size very cold mini fridge in room. There was a tv as well but didn’t use it. Internet was solid. Room was cleaned daily and all the staff very friendly and accommodating. I stayed on the top level where the rooms have a nice roof deck overlooking 5th Ave. Would absolutely stay again.

Some things that might be deal breakers for people. There is loud club music until 2ish in the morning. I was always tired enough to sleep through it without ear plugs. With ear plugs you would probably still hear it, noise canceling ear buds would drown it out. You can’t stay this close to 5th with out hearing thumping music at night so if that would be an issue this place is not for you. Be aware no elevator if you can’t handle stairs.

Good location. Three blocks from the ADO (Turistica) station, where buses to Tulum, Xel'Ha, Xcaret and Cancun Airport leaves. But the hotel is a 9-minute walk from the ADO (alterna) statoin, where some intercity buses to Playa del Carmen use, which made it difficult to get to the hotel if you have large luggage. No Uber the area. Taxi is expensive. I spent MXN120 for a 3 minute ride. The road outside the hotel is a walking street, meaning the taxi cannot stop right outside the hotel though the walk is short and manageable. Excellent room, well furnished with air-conditioning, meaning you can close the windows and shut out the noise, which was not very serious as the building opposite is also a residential one, not a pub or a restaurant. A good fridge in the room. Some rooms have microwave. A water machine in the reception area. Spacious room. Close to the beach. I met the hotel owner and she was very nice. The room was ready when I reached the hotel at 11:00 am and they let me check in earlier. Superb!

The hotel has no elevator, but the staff helped me carry the luggage up. The bus station is three blocks away, but it is still a little bit challenging if you have a lot of luggage.

Location to beaches/shops/both ADO stations. Room size, fridge coffee machine with coffee. Free drinking water. Gorgeous building..outside plus tiling inside. Nice towels and free soap. Staff lovely and met the owner !

The location was very noisy at night. We were aware so it wasn't a problem but despite being heavy sleepers we didn't manage to sleep through completely. However we were offered a move to a quieter room forv2nd night. which we turned down as were only there2 nights. It wasn't s biggie for us but if you sleep light, then be aware music ends at 3.30am.

This hotel is very centrally located along the main venue in playa . The staff is super friendly and professional. The rooms are super clean and comfortable.

The curtains in the windows are white and allow day light to get through. In case you like to sleep late .

Cute, simple clean rooms, friendly customer service, one block away from the beach! Good quality bedding, the penthouse has a private terrace! You can walk to everything from this location. There's no elevator so it might be an issue if you can't handle a couple of stairs.

the location was fabulous. the receptionists Cinthia and Marysol were extremely nice and accommodating. the bed was comfortable and the room was always clean. the balcony/rooftop was pretty great as well.

Not to be facing the main strip if you don’t want to hear the music at night on weekends

The hotel is well located is close to bars and restaurants, also the bus station And the ferry is only few blocks away, which I use to visit the the towns.

This hotel was perfect. From the perfect location, to the beautiful rooms, to the super kind and helpful staff, the place was a little gem. I will be returning here next time I come to Playa! Merci beaucoup depuis Paris!

I've stayed at this hotel for years and I am never disappointed! Great location and staff!!

The tv went out for a few hours. There is also a nightclub next-door and we could hear the music until the early morning.
