The pool over all was great. It was nice and quiet which was what I was looking for. The Breakfast that I had each day was perfect! My room was perfect for just me as I travelled alone.

There should be a pictured menu to look at for breakfast as the lady each morning spoke no english and couldnt explain options available so I just ended up eating same thing each morning to make it easy. The pool area shouldve been cleaned up by staff. One one occasion there was a table to empty beer bottle and 2 empty package of cigarettes. These sat there for about 3 hours. Was there when I arrived and still there when I left.

I really enjoyed the location of the hotel. After walking to the beach, and 5th, it was veryyyy convenient to pop back into my room. The staff was veryyyy helpful. I ordered some food from the rooftop, didn’t quite like it, and they helped me out. The noise level was awesome, I wasn’t disturbed. The showers were different but I enjoyed the space and walk-in option.

Great location near fifth avenue and the beach. Didnt hear any noise when in our room. The staff was very kind and always ready to help.

It said on the website that we would have an iron and a blowdryer in our room but we didn’t. The matress was comfy but was cleary overused.

The location, the room, the pool, and the service were perfect! We highly recommend the hotel, as well as the food and beverages.

Not the hotel's fault, but we were without lighting for a couple of hours, and the air conditioner wasn't strong enough to refresh at night; it was really hot.

I LOVED the hotel atrium space and the rooms. The rooms were comfortable and the front desk staff was very accommodating and personable. I really appreciated their efforts in trying to accommodate some of my needs. I would definitely stay here again!

The music and sound from multiple nightclubs was a HUGE issue at night. Even when sleeping with earbuds - the construction zone & empty buildings around the hotel - cause the local night club music to echo and reverberate every night. Guests who are light sleepers should choose an INTERIOR ROOM or perhaps the hotel could consider stronger insulation around the front and sliding doors facing the streets.

Excellent location right by the beach and all the shops and nightlife and walking distance to the ferry terminal to Cozumel. We are 44 and 45 years old and brought our son and his girlfriend who are both 18. It was fantastic and we all had a blast. It’s classy and elegant but not stuffy and it’s a nice break from some of the huge al-inclusive places we have stayed before. The clientele the palms attracts seems to be a little more civilized and less entitled than the larger hotels that cater to American travelers.

The room was big and clean but lacked amenities. I guess it was ok for the price you pay.

The rooftop used to be a great place for parties and hang out. I had a friend join me for a drink at the bar with no issues. The next night he came back and was stopped saying it was only for guests.

I loved that it was very close to everything. The beach is a 2 minute walk away, restaurants, bars and clubs are all within a 5 to 10 minute walk.

The are is loud. While it was great to be close to everything, it is extremely loud well into the wee hours of the night.

The room was beautiful and spacious and even had a balcony. There was a pool and jacuzzi on the roof although we didn't' get the chance to use them. Location was great and close to the ferry

Check-in and check-out were a bit weird, as I had already paid on Booking.com they took my credit card to run it for the entire cost of the room and not just for the incidentals. When we were checking out, they sent houskeeping by the room before they would let us leave to ensure that everything was okay despite having the card for incidentals. This delayed us a bit and almost made us miss the ferry.

Is loud at night since is in the center lot of parties and you need to leave deposit to get a tower for the pool
