We were told the swimming pool for guests was full. Bearing in mind we were only there two nights how can you be told at £700 a night the pool was full. The hotel kindly compensated us for this and apologised but really the hotel was chosen by us for for the facilities Since my last visit some time ago one of the Pools is now totally a Nicki beach pool area. It is a crazy area full of questionable unsavoury characters paying hundreds for a poolside seat to pose. Ideal for Marbella not sure about a Fairmont hotel though with multiple types of guests. The hotel seems to have. Even over run by non residents which has strained the valet and front of house areas and shrunk the resident pool area use. We still enjoyed our visit

Family of 4 with 14 and 10 year olds, stayed in the Riviera suite sea view , 2 nights. Perfect location, we walked to all places we wanted to visit. , hotel was very clean, well trained staff, all were very nice and helpful from the valet, reception, house keeping, restaurants staff and the gym staff. Beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed was good for the 2 kids to sleep, no complaints from kids. Breakfast was good, meant to be till 11am, can be busy later hour so best to go a bit early. I noticed a lot of people came after 11 and they were accommodated which was nice to see. We used the less noisy pool , very friendly and helpful staff. Drinks are a bit pricey but expected, the food was great at the pool, price was ok as very large portions, mistakenly ordered a meal each, couldn’t finish, good for sharing. Casino is just behind the hotel, kids Loved watching all the super cars take F1 hairpin bend in front of the hotel.

Our sea view room on the 3rd floor had limited sea view from the room but this is due to a very large sitting area behind the room from which you you have amazing sea view. The higher floors have a better sea view of course.

The view, the hotel, the restaurant and how the hotel give you an option to connect your phone to the tv and watch anything you want..that was the best part. Also the staff were very polite..Luc and Gilles were very welcoming and so kind. Gilles made sure to go the extra mile just to get you everything you requested for. He made sure we were satisfied. Best service I’ve received by far. Thank you very much Gilles.

Drinks and snacks in the mini fridge are way overpriced. Did not expect that at all. You’re better off going out to the shop to buy your fizzy drinks (cans) and snacks etc

AMAZING RESORT SEAFRONT ,A FEW STEPS FROM THE CASINO, HUGE CLEAN NEW ROOMS ,NIKKI BEACH ON ROOFTOP WITH HEATED POOL, FANTASTIC SEA VIEW LOUNGE FOR BREAKFAST (SUPER) ALL STAFF VERY KIND AND HELPFULL(LUCA -RECEPTION AND LILIANE,PIETRO -BREAKFAST), FIRST TIME BUT NOT THE LAST........

NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT, STILL CANT UNDERSTAND WHY IS CONSIDERED A 4* HOTEL AND NOT A 5*!!!!!!!

The location couldn’t be better, in the heart of Monte Carlo! Spacious rooms, recently renovated with great view! Bedroom was very big with a lounge area, large balcony and spacious bathroom. They have hidden fees which are not present when booking online such as 200€ per night mandatory deposit without any prior notice anywhere on the booking platforms. No cups Nothing special for birthday celebration.

I first stayed at this hotel in 1995, when it was known as Loews Monte-Carlo, to celebrate my honeymoon. During that visit, I had the unique opportunity to meet Prince Albert, which made the experience all the more memorable. Returning in January  2025 with my son  brought back wonderful memories, and I am thrilled to say the experience was just as exceptional as I remembered. Everything about the Fairmont Monte Carlo is outstanding. The breakfast is incredible, with a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste. The outdoor pool is stunning, offering breathtaking views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff's professionalism and attentiveness truly stand out, ensuring a memorable stay. I would like to give special thanks to Jean-Michel from Room Service. His impeccable service, kindness, and dedication went above and beyond, leaving a lasting impression. He truly deserves the highest praise for his exceptional work. I would highly recommend the Fairmont Monte Carlo to anyone and look forward to returning in the future

The only minor issue was the bathroom door, which unfortunately hasn’t been fixed, but this did not overshadow the overall excellence of the hotel.

PROS -luxurious and comfortable rooms -Nespresso machine in each room -Le Labo Rose shower gel -friendly staff, gave me a free late checkout which was highly appreciated (as well as an earlier check-in) -amazing location, walking distance from everything (1min to Monte Carlo casino, 15min to train station, greats restaurants everywhere) + scenic location at the Fairmont Hairpin if you’re an F1 fan -outdoor pool heated at 29 degrees celsius -great gym with everything you need -sauna + steam room -excellent WiFi

CONS -€41 for breakfast is excessive -NOBU restaurant closed and seems to have been closed for months according to reviews -sauna can fit two people only -outdoor pool not really meant for workout swimming as it’s fairly small -lifts take ages, a lot of waiting around

It was a beautiful stay. Everything is readily accessible and staff is helpful and cheerful except for 1 lady. The potter and concierge were excellent. Bed and pillow were very comfortable and room facilities were okay...phased renovations have started so they will offer better room and bathroom facilities. Be specific when u book sea view you might be unlucky and get one facing both the sea and a construction site. Great breakfast with varieties. Lovely stay...

The attitude we got from some lady at reception. She almost ruined my day and stay.
