Everything. It was a beautiful property, a real authentic Riad experience that exhibited all the cultural beauty you would expect of such a place. It was all we could have wished for regards accommodation, service, cultural authenticity, serenity and more. We absolutely adored the place, and particularly the beautiful homecoming we had at night. The lamb tagine is to die for. The food was so good we ate 4/5 evening meals during our 7 night stay. What’s not to like eating the best of home cooked food by a beautiful pool surrounded by orange trees under a star laden crisp night sky.

Nothing.

We stayed at three different riads during our stay in Marrakesh. Riad Slitine was the most picturesque and the one with the most appealing common areas to hang out or read or do work in case needed. It had the best internet connection out of all the riads we were in. It is worth noting that it was the cheapest of the three, but perhaps this is because we got lucky on a deal for a single night. Breakfast was great. Room was pretty nice. It was clean but some of the other riads were cleaner. It was magically quiet given that it is so so so in the middle of the action. I do not even know how this is possible.

Not much. You get to the riad through a garbage-strewn alley, but that's par for the course for the area. Once inside it's like a portal to another world suddenly opened.

We only stayed one night but really liked this hotel. It feels like an oasis amidst the busy streets of Marrakesh. The location is very central, making it convenient for exploring the city. Inside, the hotel is beautifully designed in an authentic national style. The rooms aren’t very large, but they are nicely decorated and cozy. Warm water worked perfectly, and the breakfast was good. There’s also plenty of space outside the rooms to sit and relax in the evening, which we appreciated. We also highly recommend Le Slimana Restaurant & Rooftop—the food and atmosphere were amazing!

Most amazing place we have ever stayed. The Riad was gorgeous, the rooms were fantastic. The staff were exceptional, airport pickup and drop off, very accommodating when we had an early morning they organised breakfast earlier than the stated times. One of the staff members Eunice was waiting for us at 5:30am when we had an early excursion planned, and he walked the streets with us and waiting for our bus to come. We also had dinner one night at the Riad, which was fantastic. They provided us with beers and wine also. We also had a massage which was 10/10. Great place to stay if you don’t like resorts / package holidays, very chill environment, with a great location. Great for couples. Recommending it to all our friends and families!

This place is an absolute oasis inside the old Medina. Easy access to the centre square, restaurant, tea shops and markets. The staff here are extremely pleasant, especially Hassan, who was helpful and kind :) The room was super comfy and peaceful, and very beautiful. The bed super comfy too. A bit of peaceful luxury. Breakfast each morning was good, set out down by the pool which was just so peaceful and tranquil start to a day. I used the spa and it was worth every penny, I had a Hammam and massage super relaxing. The pool is cool water, and good after bathing. there are limited spots to sunbath due to the architecture and a roof top with sunbeds if you fancy catching some rays. The whole building is endlessly beautiful on every turn, a truly authentic Riad experience. See you all again soon and a big thank you for making my stay so peaceful, and being so helpful - especially on the last day. So much appreciation to all the staff.

Nothing.

The staff is very nice and helpful, especially lady at the breakfast. The riad i big and quiet and gives an insight into traditional life. Very instagrammable place. Great location.

The wifi is often poor in the room so you have to come closer to the lobby. The breakfast could be more diverse, especially when one stays for a longer time, but it is plenty and rich. The place needs refreshment and renewal of the old. It has great potential. It would be easier if all off the staff were more fluent in English.

The staff is great and very helpful. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom facilities were excellent. We had a massage and facial onsite and that was great.

No food menu or opportunity to have lunch or a snack without booking ahead which they didn’t inform us of at check-in. We also had the spa treatments and when trying to pay they said that it must be cash - given it was midnight and we were leaving early in the morning and didn’t have enough cash they agreed to take card payment in the morning but then proceeded to say there wasn’t enough signal for the machine to work. It was quite disappointing that they could charge our card for the stay before us arriving however for any extras they expect cash but don’t tell you about it.

The property was very quiet and beautiful. The trees and gardens around the pool, made this place quite special. I wouldn’t expect it from the outside when you come in from the chaos. The staff were so hospitable and kind to me after the stress of losing my luggage. They helped me make contact with the airline. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness.

I wish I had the chance to stay longer.

Riad was a few minutes walk to Jemaa El-Fnaa and Bahia Palace and in the middle of the old madina. The Riad is stunning inside with a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Lots of communal rooms, courtyards and terraces to explore. At night you can sit outside and gaze up at the night sky which which stunning. We had a family suite comprising bedroom for my wife and I, and a 2x single bedroom for our two teenage boys. Bathroom (WC, double basin and shower) was between the two rooms. Rooms were clean on arrival and cleaned daily during our stay. Basic toiletries and towels are provided. Small fridge and hair dryer also in room. Sun loungers and towels are provided by the pool area. Multiple WiFi spots around the Riad were good for our needs. Breakfast comprising local pastries, tea, eggs, yogurt was very nice and served in the main courtyard by the pool. Staff extremely helpful especially Um Ilyas and Hassan. Overall a lovely Riad to stay and since we were out most of the day, it was lovely to come back to at night. I would recommend.

I found some of the communal areas a little dusty (sofas and cushions) which triggered my hayfever allergy, but this wasn't too much of a problem and being exposed to the elements was expected. Although the pool was chlorinated, we found it a little green on our first day, but this cleared up during our stay and didn't effect us using the pool.

The staff was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The riad was beautiful - very authentic and homey. The location was also good - in the old medina, but in a quiet little corner. We walked everywhere as a family and came in and out many times, felt safe.

Our bathroom had a very weird odor. The shower could also use a curtain or door as the water just goes onto the floor of the bathroom, flooding it a little. The room was also a little dark - could use a bit more light.
