I am very happy that I chose the Hotel des Oudaias in Rabat in Morocco. This was my first travel to Morocco and Rabat and I wanted to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, I traveled with my wife and we found what exceeded our expectations. Everything was beautiful, very helpful, polite staff, wonderful rooms, excellent location. I am looking forward to my next travel to Rabat to stay there. Special thanks to all the staff members front desk/restaurant Mohamed Sabbar, Adnan, Sofyan, Majda, and everyone without exception. House Keeping Khadija and Omayma. I am sorry that I don't know all the names of the staff members that elegantly served us, but all were outstanding.

The hotel is a renovated French colonial era property dating from 1918. It is absolutely charming. The hotel represents a very high value for money. The service is top-notch. The staff was attentive and helpful, even arranging for our laundry to be done which took less than 24 hours. The breakfasts are large and hearty. The location is perfect, close to everything while being outside the business of the Medina. It’s very safe and quiet although if you are sensitive to noise, please note that the windows are original (not double-glazed) and help to block some sounds but not all. We stayed in Room 306 which is one of the few rooms that has a sitting area with a full view of the ocean and the Kasbah. The bathroom is large and there is ample hot water. In short, we highly recommend this hotel.

All was good. However in the morning larger groups of guests can be loud (not the hotel’s fault) as the dining area is small. Breakfast is served at 0800 so we would advise having your breakfast on the early side.

Location was good with parking at the front door which was fantastic. Staff were friendly. Room large with lovely view. Excellent coffee. Very clean. Good value for money. Comfortable bed. Good air conditioning.

The shower head would not stay in place & would fly off the hook when pressure applied. A bit frustrating when trying to wash hair. The room felt a bit cluttered with old eclectic furniture & art works. Old & tired fittings with some peeling paint & wallpaper. We did not realise egg was available for breakfast as it was not offered the first day & we only realised the second morning after someone else got eggs.

Good location near the beach & for walking into the Medina. We had a huge room with big seating area, 2 TVs (no English speaking channels) &a fridge. Breakfast was extensive - so much so all the plates wouldn’t fit on the table at times. Always fresh orange juice, good coffee & eggs on request. Roof & additional terrace were good places to chill out.

Not much is said at check in about the facilities, we found the roof terrace ok but only on second day discovered a terrace on our floor (1st) which had sun beds & was sheltered. And 2 mating tortoises!

Very welcoming host, great location with parking. The facilities in the room were excellent, including a coffee machine, pods were provided. The hotel is more than 100years, yet the ambience is excellent, as the decorations provide the Moroccan feel. Breakfast was good, especially the hot pancakes. Thank you for making our stay pleasant, The biggest bonus were that all the major attractions were within the walking distance. Medina is just behind- we loved this medina compared to that of Marrakech, Fes, Chefchaouen - very spacious, safe and shops open till late.

Wifi was not free

The building is interestingly old and beautifully decorated inside with traditional tiles and painted furniture. I loved the tiled floors and painted ceilings. There is a small lift but we preferred to use the splendid stone staircase, descending to a little fountain in a tiled basin in the ground-floor lobby. We ate delicious breakfasts in a ground-floor room that opened on to the street (a fine-looking ginger cat wandered in). The front of the hotel is separated from the street by a slip road, where the hotel provided secure parking. It was a short walk to Ribat medina, souks and gardens, an esplanade overlooking the River Bou Regreg and the Atlantic Ocean, and good riverside restaurants.

The enamelled bath tub was ancient, with smooth cement around the top edges, and the wash basin was a bit high for me. Some of my party found the beds rather hard, but I didn't mind. The small window in my room overlooked external service stairs and a patio beyond, masked by a lot of flowers and shrubs. My party's other room was larger and its windows had a magnificent view looking towards out the sea and Ribat medina, so that was the room where we enjoyed our nightcaps.

This is a nice hotel, and had an elevator which is not typical in Morocco as many of the buildings are quite old. It is well located and has everything you need. The breakfasts were delicious and the breakfast staff were very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful!

The shower was not great. The water leaks out from the door and soaks the entire bathroom. It was a shower base with tile beside the shower base. I slipped and fell as a result of this design and I am an able bodied mid-20s.

This is so far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Morocco. I regret leaving. Rabat and this hotel really connected with me. The city was so peaceful, people were nice, and the souqs felt really authentic. The location of this hotel can’t be any better, just a quick 5-minute walk to any of the medina’s main attractions from the beaches to the souqs. The heater and wifi worked perfectly in my room. The bathroom was spacious, hot water pressure was perfect. The wifi worked perfectly and there’s netflix in the TV. You will walk a lot in Rabat and in between those walks having the option to watch netflix in your room was just comforting. The staff here were all nice and warm and greet you whenever they see you. The view from the hotel’s rooftop is incredible. Trust me if you wanna fall in love with Rabat this is exactly the place where you should stay.

the breakfast felt lacking at least from what I’m used to but I guess Moroccan breakfast is really just light (probably even better to keep yourself light and healthy while traveling)

The room was amazing, with a beautiful sea view. It was spacious, well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. The receptionist and the waiter at the restaurant were exceptional and kind throughout our stay. We stayed for three days, and the location was fantastic—within walking distance of everything. Wonderful breakfast. They offered a shuttle bus from the airport for 200 Dirhams (20 euros), which we booked both ways through them. Highly recommended place! Thank you for an amazing stay.

Everything was perfect.

I loved the location, the kind, friendly staff and the cost. There were not too many modern frills, but the value and authentic experience were great. Honestly, you will not get a more authentic moroccon experience, especially at the price. Plus, always felt safe.

The shower tended to flood a little, but staff cleaned it. Sun and heat dried it. They could toast bread or offer it but I'm nit picking for sake of it. Place was nice.
