An owner was very helpful. If we needed something, we could contact him at any time (via Whatsapp; during the day, always was somebody in Riad). We had a roof apartment (de facto vith a 270 degree view). I only may warn that in the apartment may be during the heat very hot (not our case in March). The apartment was very spacious (beds for 4 people), two armchairs to sit, interesting bathroom. Apartment is situated on a teracce and we can also use the upper one (very nice 360° view on old Rabat medina and Rabat itself). Breakfast was served by a Madam (not a continental breakfast; local panbread, omelette, local "pancakes", mint tea and many more). The advantage was, if a madam (or someone else) did not use a full equiped kitchen, you could use it freely.

Two disadvantage. If other guests are noisy, you will definitely hear them (cause a atrium has a tunnel effect; the noise amplifies upwards). The second one is linked to a local religion. If you are not a fun of early getting up, you will be get up by an announcer from the Mosques which annouce the begining of a day (our stay was during Ramadan, so the announcer announced the beginning of the day of Ramadan (the sunrise)). This annoucing you will definitely hear because of the room location on the roof. Personally for me this expecience is not a negativum.

The riad is wonderful, very welcoming, and in an excellent location. The rooms are beautiful and carefully decorated down to the smallest detail. Jbara welcomed us warmly, showing us on a map he had drawn himself the layout of Rabat and the places to visit, as well as giving us very useful tips on where to eat.

The breakfast, although served in the beautiful inner courtyard, is not as special as one might expect from a riad of this kind.

Good location in the medina, within walking distance to the sea and the Kasbah. Two roof terraces with beautiful views of the old town. The family apartment is actually completely glazed, on one of the terraces, so there are amazing views of it too - beautiful sunsets. The room is furnished very cozily, in Moroccan style. The double bed is separated from the children's beds by a curtain. Excellent and rich breakfast.

A tiny bathroom with a toilet - when you shower, everything including the toilet is wet. There are quite steep stairs leading up to the room and onto the terraces - we didn't mind, but it could be a problem for the elderly or people with limited mobility. Due to some holes between the window panes, the room was quite cold at night in February. There is electric heating available, but due to the storm, the electricity didn't work at night, so we couldn't use it.

Riad is in the heart of old Medina. Walkable distance to most of attractions. Room was clean, had basics needs available. Breakfast was tasty, staff very friendly and helpful. WiFi was working good.

Room was a bit small, no hanging space from clothes. Room window is on the streets of Medina which are busy and noisy till late night, so get yourself ear plugs if you want to sleep before 1:00am. Riad has no access for the taxi, you would need to walk a bit from main street to the accommodation as Medina is walkable area only.

Jbarra, the owner was awesome! Very engaging and accomodating. Interesting to talk to and engaged with his guests any time he saw them. The riad has the best and most beautiful tile flooring. Really stunning decor all around. It felt like a treat to stay there. Location was good (once you figured out how to get there) as it is right in the medina with culture all around. We ate dinner there and the food was outstanding. Great breakfast too. It was very cool!

The room was very small for two people, but still a nice room and I liked the decor.

The room was absolutely amazing - right in the middle of everything yet with the feeling of a serene oasis on the top of the world. I ended up with a migraine that night and the owner helped my husband find aspirin as well as guided him to a delicious dinner spot where he could carry out food. Breakfast was also good and my only regret is that we only spent one night here!

Finding the accommodations and parking was tricky.

Very friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff. A riad building in the heart of the Medina, and quiet for sleeping. I had the room on the roof terrace, which was very big and airy in the evening. Excellent location for everything in Rabat, which is a very calm, pretty, and friendly city.

Lovely welcome with mint tea and description of local sights + map from the owner. Fabulous views from our rooftop room. Lovely staff. Tasty breakfast. So close to the river with lovely seafood restaurants and swimming with the local kids.

No air-conditioning in our room, and it was a hot night -opening windows helped to cool our room quickly. .

The owner Mr Jbara took every effort to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, Our flight was delayed by 4 hours, and we reached around 1 am. He patiently waited for us and provided some snack as we missed our dinner. He showed us around and also provided invaluable travel guidance. The road is located in the middle of medina and all the attractions in Rabat within walking distance from the riad. Over all it was a very pleasant stay and we felt like home.

As this is an old building, taking luggage up and down can be be an issue. We received some help from the riad staff.

A small pearl in the heart of the city. The Riad is located within the old city centre in a strategic position among Hassan Tower and the Kasbah. Very clean and comfortable, we enjoyed particularly the availability and kindness of the family who runs the place. If you need a taxi, info or anything, they will always help you. Great experience.
