We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Very unique accommodation with a great view We enjoyed the ducks and swans visiting We found it easy to get into the city with a quick 10min walk to the free ferry into the city that comes very frequently Could swim and paddle board from the front door if the weather was suitable

Not a complaint, but it won't suit everybody. The property is quirky, our room had the shower in the bedroom and no room for bedside tables. That suited us fine but it's not like a Novetel, and if that's what you're after you should probably look elsewhere

Our host Rosalie was super nice and welcoming. The place was very cosy, comfortable and clean. The terrace on/next to the water was really nice to use (there are also paddles available). The place is near from the free ferry (10-15min by walk - and obviously quicker if you have bikes) and then it only takes a few minutes to join central station (5 to 15minutes depending on the ferry you take). There is a supermarket on the way, which is very convenient. Finally, the “Straat museum” is near the place and we really enjoyed visiting it (museum of street art and graffiti). We recommend this place a 100%.

Everything was perfect

We had chosen this property as it was close enough to the city centre but peaceful for us and perfect for our two dogs with the garden and surrounding field/park. Loved the big kingsize bed and rustic maritime style throughout. Amazing view onto the river and easy access to all facilities. It were little extras throughout the unit eg shampoo and conditioner, tea bags etc.

Maybe a handrail down the steep entrance stairs for elderly people like us lol

Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful stay at the living-boat of Rosalie. The boat lies very calm in the water where you can see the sky change colours during the sunset. Climbing through the window of the bedroom onto the outer side of the boat (Because it is the given exit) gives you a nice feeling of youthfulness and freedom. We really liked spending our time here and waking up looking over the water. Very much recommended!

What a fantastic welcome we received from Rosalie and her family, we felt more like extended family than paying guests. Rosalie went above and beyond our expectations in making sure that we had everything we needed for our stay.

There was nothing to dislike, so much so that we spent our whole time there.

Very enjoyable two days on the houseboat. Ferry to Amsterdam was 15 minute walk away, also nice bars and Restaurants at the Quay side.

Fantastic river view and feel. Lovely host. Great garden and hangout space.

Not a dislike, but it is small - just a bedroom, toilet and small kitchen. There's nowhere to sit, except the bed. So in effect it's like a hotel room - an excellent hotel room:)

Everything was good, clean, cozy, all amenities, we cooked dinner and had dinner on the terrace!!!

Lovely relaxing spot, bed was great. Local buses / ferry making it easy to get into Amsterdam central.

The bed was super comfy! The couch setup on the water was a fantastic way to take in a sunset and the paddleboards were fun.

It is a little trek from Central Station and city center. Relaxing quiet spot, but would recommend renting bikes to anyone frequenting the city.
