The hotel looks very new, clean and nice. The area it's in is very quiet. I had a studio room and it was great. Had everything we needed for a 6- night stay. The bed was comfortable. They only provide cleaning services every few days, unless you ask for more frequent, but that didn't bother us. All the staff we encountered were helpful and kind, and they even gave us access to our room many hours before check-in time, which was great for us.

The only issue with the hotel is the location. It's about a 5-7 minute walk just to get to a mode of transportation. It's about a 40 minute walk to reach the center. We booked this hotel because the reviews were good and the rooms were much bigger than hotels in the center, but the other side of that is being kind of far from everything. We used ubers/bolts to get around, however unlike other major cities, you generally have to wait like 10 minutes to get the car. If you want to be closer walking distance to the main areas/sites of Amsterdam, this is not a good hotel for you.

The room service was substandard- there were toiletries missing and room service was not done . The bed was not made, dishes not cleaned and rubbish not taken out

The location is beautiful on the waterfront overlooking Amsterdam. The hotel interior is beautiful with tall ceilings and a gorgeous restaurant. They also provide free access to their spa and gym. We were able to have access to the spa privately which was incredible with a sauna, steam shower, cold bath, and treatments available. They also provide free bikes which we used to bike around Amsterdam and enjoy the city. Pretty close to the city center - 10 min bike. HIghly recommend! The rooms were very big with a kitchen and living room and comfy beds. We loved our stay!

I stayed at this hotel for a full week and everything was absolutely amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect – quiet, but still close to everything. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail in every corner of the hotel. This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the Netherlands. I felt truly welcomed and well taken care of. I would happily return and definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and so helpful! It’s in a more residential area so very quiet and I could sleep with the window open at night without being disturbed. The room/apartment was spacious and equipped with basic kitchenware in case I wanted to cook or heat up leftovers. Having a fridge in the room was invaluable, especially with the summer heat. Coming back to cold bottles of water in the fridge was amazing. The room has a thermostat so you can cool it down or heat it up around 3 degrees either way and it got actually cold! Can’t stress enough how amazing that is, because it was HUMID and so hot in Amsterdam this weekend. The hotel itself is pretty! The gym was stunning, and a lot of locals hang out by the docks to sun tan because it’s right on the water.

The bathroom door did not prop open on its own, so there was no way to air out the bathroom after a shower unless I used my bag to keep the door open. Very minor issue and didn’t effect my stay.

Really enjoyed our stay here. From the outset the team were inviting and accomodating, allowing us to rest on arrival after 24 hours of flying. The rooms are incredibly creative and inviting. There is everything you could need. We stayed for 2 nights and even left our passports by accident, the team quickly notified us and returned these to us. It was incredible service and having a restaurant attached to the hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinners was amazing. The location is perfect for those looking to be away from the hustle and bustle. However, getting a taxi or complimentary bike from the hotel will see you in the city in 5-10 minutes. Thanks for an amazing stay in Amsterdam guys!

The hotel was like a little home away from home. My partner and I loved our stay. Very clean room and comfy bed. We were impressed with the design and amenities, you could tell there was extra thought down to the quality snacks in the mini bar. We enjoyed the facilities and the food at the restaurant was delicious. But above all, the staff really exceeded our expectations, they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. For that alone, we’ll definitely be back!

We loved everything about our stay and the hotel. If we had to pick something, it would be that the bedroom windows facing toward the reception and restaurant should be tinted so you can’t see in from the public view. But we just kept our blinds shut and enjoyed the other view to the canal.

This was my 2nd time at the July. I was born and raised in Amsterdam, and really like the location because its away from the heavily trafficed tourist areas. Here you mingle more with the locals, and get a feel for the real Amsterdam. And it is still walking/biking distance away from the heart of town. Staff is amazing, makes you feel really welcome. Did not eat breakfast in hotel, but enjoyed dinner there twice. Quality of food and waiting staff was very good. Great price/value overall.

Really no negatives

Hotel itself and our room specifically were wonderful. Everything was clean and the interior design was amazing. Mattresses were a tad too soft for our taste but that is obviously different for everybody. Breakfast was a rather small buffet but with the possibility to order a fresh omelet, pancakes, eggs benedict or something similar for free. Delicious dinner. Location is great if you want to be slightly outside the buys city - no noise during day or night at all. Bus station is only 5 walking minutes away but you can also reach the outer parts of the city within 20 minutes on foot.

The service during dinner was unfortunately bad; the restaurant was rather empty and some of the staff saw us sit down but we waited for 10 minutes and still had to get up and ask a waitress to get some menus. Nobody checked up on us during dinner or after we were finished; we again had to get the staff's attention ourselves after waiting for another 10 minutes.

Beautiful building. Very clean and well designed. Our apartment was spacious, well thought out and with a lovely river view. Son made great use of the in-house gym and sauna/stream room. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Transport links were excellent - bus took about 8mins to central station- and you can cycle it in about the same time on the cycle path. Hotel loans bikes out for free which was a fab way to see the area. Lots of bars and restaurants on the high street about a 5mins walk from the hotel. Perfect place for us to stay and enjoy Amsterdam.
