the staff was incredibly attentive and quick to respond to any issues or requests. good sized apartments. near city center

minor drainage issue with the shower. but it is a very old building and it was addressed rapidly by the staff. a bit outside city center if you are older or traveling with children

We really enjoyed our stay! The street (canal) is very quiet, so nothing would disturb you. The stuff is very nice and friendly, and they provided us with a small local guidebook and other information. The hotel is located close to public transport and as well in walkable distance from the center. We had a nice view at the canal also. The radiator works well (but only one of two was working, probably as it wasn't winter yet). The bed is quite comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped for a short stay, and it's a dishwasher there.

Three or four of the towels were with some disgusting spots. Very unpleasant. Fortunately, we had our own one with us... The other thing is that we had not the apartment we booked, but another one. In some aspects, it was, probably, even better, but for us it was important to have a radiator in the bedroom, and we didn't. There was an electric one, but it was impossible to use it at night because of the noise it was producing... Actually, it was warm enough in the apartment, so we didn't suffer from that, but still were a little bit disappointed.

A spacious 2 floor apartment that can comfortably accommodate 6 people in a very quiet location. The Salthouse is directly on the canal and also very close to the central station and even closer to another tram station. One can easily reach city center with a tram line 5 in 20 minutes. Kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances, dishes, glasses, cutlery and assortement of free hot drinks such as espresso, coffee and tea. We felt sehr comfortable in our apartment. I could even say that it felt coming home when we got back to the apartment after a long and busy sightseeing in the city center.

Good apartment for a couple (305). Washer/ dryer worked well. Apartment 304 was ok (lounge/ lichen/ bathroom very good) see comment below re bedroom area.

On arrival one apartment unfortunately had a strong smell of “smoke” that appeared to be from the local produce - cleared quickly after fan and opening windows to air (#305) Second apartment bedroom was inside the the building walls with no windows and very dark - passable but could be very warm on a hot summers day (#304) alternatively nice and cozy in winter. Limited public transport in the area. 25 minute walk to Centraal station.

The room was very comfortable, big, it had all the necessary items, private bathroom, great canal view. The room opened with a password, so there was no need for keys or card. Easy check in and check out. There was access to essentials' closets so we could refill items (towels, paper, etc). The room had iron(and ironing board), coffee machine and capsules provided, blowdryer, kitchen utilities.The location was great, within walking distance from the city center, in a quiet neighborhood. The online reception team was always available and responded immediately to our questions. Would definitely recommend it.

The cleaning service was offered after a week or upon demand earlier with a fee, but there is a garbage room inside the building for trash disposal. A couple of the towels were worn out. The living room with the sofa bed could not be fully dark during the night/dawn (we had a room on the final floor, and there was a window on the top). It wasn't a problem for us, but if anyone wants full darkness for bedtime, it could be an issue. The room inside didn't have that issue.

Location is great - right on a canal and easily accessible by public transport. Room (although varies quite a bit from the photos) was pretty good. Small and compact and has the mentioned amenities. Communication with staff per messaging was very easy and convenient. They had forgotten the baby bed request, but after a quick message, the bed was waiting for us.

Nothing completely putting off the experience but smaller things pile on. The room does not look like the pictures - slightly more wear to the properties. The lights are a bit too dim for our taste, and we also had one light flickering irregularly in the room. Pricewise might be slightly high but still in range for what amsterdam offers.

Property is fantastic - there is a lot of space, it felt safe and secure. The amenities are amazing. I cannot rate this place enough. It is walkable into the centre if you like a nice walk. If not bus stop 2 minute walk away will take you directly into Amsterdam central. YAYS/Numa are amazing - cannot fault them. It makes me want to book more properties with them as I know they host all across the globe. Thank you for making our stay so special. Beds are comfy, big there is plenty of room. Only a few menial things that didn’t effect my score - Bathroom had a weird smell, that just wouldn’t leave. But it was below level with little ventilation so that could be why, and also when you flush the toilet a really loud humming noise would happen a few times in the main bedroom. Which used to wake me up in the night - but I am a light sleeper!

Some furnishings were quite worn.

The location: close to bus station and only two stations away from Central Station. Although the area was quite a bit too quiet at night, but it’s safe. The staff at the property only speak Dutch, but they were really helpful. I can ask anything through booking.com and the Whatsapp number, and they were very responsive. Washing machine and dryer were available for free! And they have a safe space for your luggage (with digital lock) after you checked out if you want to explore the city further.

When we first checked in, they forgot to clean the bin in the bathroom (big No No!). We texted them and they cleaned it out the next day. The sofa bed was not comfortable anymore, maybe time to replace it with a new one. I can literally feel the concavity and my body sort of curved when I sleep.

The location is great, in a quiet neighborhood that is a short walk from all the action. It's a 25 minute walk to Amsterdam Centraal, via the waterfront or through the city. There is a good cafe (Mads) around the corner, other options are only a few minutes further. The apartment is nicely designed and efficiently laid out. The bedroom suite is separated from the rest of the space by sliding doors. The bed and linens are very comfortable. The sofa bed is easy to set up and hide, and is reasonably comfortable. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and gave us good tips to get sorted with a meal nearby.

The accommodations are very nicely designed but there are a couple of issues. The WIFI internet is spotty in the evenings. I ran a speed test and only got about 2 mbps, and at times pages or videos would not load. If you need high speed WIFI in the evenings this may be an issue for you. The furniture is nice, but is showing some wear. The sliding doors had fallen off the rails and some of the light fixtures were loose. These were minor issues and easily corrected, but management should pay a bit more attention to detail.
