Perfect location. Close proximity to Amsterdam Central (10 min walking distance) and in the middle of the old city. There is a bakery and a bike rental shop right next door. Decent size room for three people to occupy. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Although the hotel is situated on a busy tourist street, if you keep your windows closed you won’t be able to hear the noise from outside.

Please read the description for the amenities that the hotel offers. You might be disappointed to find out that there is no refrigerator in your room. However, you are more than welcome to store your drinks at the front desk refrigerator (after you ask). Also, keep in mind that there is no A/C in the rooms as well (because if city regulations) but there is a fan.

The location was excellent. I could walk to many sites and if I needed public transportation, it was available. I did not have an included breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed the staff at the hotel. My room included many positive things such as an electric kettle, a great shower, a comfortable bed, and a well functioning TV. The location was superb. It was located 1/2 block from the main Square in all of Amsterdam, which meant it was also very near the Royal Palace. There were numerous restaurants just steps away.

Because of location and the fact that Amsterdam is alive 24 seven, at times it was a bit noisy. I didn’t use earplugs, but that would’ve been helpful. Generally I didn’t have a problem getting to sleep and having a good nights sleep.

A great location not too far from the Central Station and walking distance from a good number of attractions. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. As expected for a city centre site, there was noise from outside, however this was not really enough to disturb me. Light sleepers might want to make use of earplugs which are available on request. No complaints here though.

Can't really think of negatives. Perhaps the fitting of modern windows might have limited the outside noise a lot more but I don't know if there are local regulations that might prevent that. Didn't affect me anyway.

The location was great, very narrowed but cozy. We stayed in quadruple room with single beds on first floor. We got coffee, tea and kettle and a small hair dryer. Don't pay extra for the breakfast (sandwich ingredients), it's not worthy, we got it because it was included in the price. The hotel has a luggage room and small discount cards for some city spots, like museums, some restaurants, canal boat ride.

The bathroom is rather limited. The matress was very soft, the phonic isolation is very poor, for light sleepers might be a problem. Be prepared during the weekend it's a lot of noise from outside.

The hotel staff was excellent. The beds were super comfy. Of course, it was loud, but we booked in the heart of things. There was even a diffuser for the hair dryer! We were able to leave our bags and continue exploring after check out. It was a great home base to go out, explore, and return. I recommend it to people with teens.

A minor complaint, but you get what you pay for.. The continental breakfast was minimal and not restocked. Definitely would prefer to have at least a croissant per person available. The coffee was weak and ran out. But, that was only breakfast, so everything else was great.

Location is excellent. Any amount of food premises on the door step. Walking distance to all major attractions. Very central. Found bed to be super comfy. Our room was on the street side but the noise didn't stop us all from getting a good night sleep. We visited in October and the room was very warm. They have a fan which we used and opened the window.

The bathroom was very clean and shower was nice and hot. The water from the shower spilled out of the shower area which ment we had a bath mat constantly down to stop the floor from being slippy.

Loved the view, staff were incredibly helpful. Really good feature being able to store luggage behind locked door after checkout. Room was very comfortable, air con was lovely and beds were super comfortable.

Our room was located in the other base without the reception - this took us by surprise especially as we came late and the hotel light was flickering so looked a bit dodgey..! Once inside it was fab, I think just letting the customers know they’d be at a slightly different location and what floor they’d be on before arrival - it was a lot of steep steps!! It wasn’t an issue at all with my brother and I but if I had been travelling as a woman on my own this would have scared me a little.

Perfect location and very affordable considering it’s in the Square! Bed was super comfy too. Temperature in the room was really good. Very clean. Staff were lovely and the person with light coloured curly hair was so warm-welcoming!

People walking up the stairs and the levels seemed quite loud, a thicker underlay under the carpet would possibly sound proof this. A bulb in room 12 wasn’t work so was a little dark but not really an issue. There’s also a small step in the bathroom into the shower which could be highlighted as easy to trip or stub your toe!

The toilet was INSANELY close to the wall. It was fine but if you're tall, you'll have issues. I also really dislike the trend of not having a shower door. Water gets everywhere. The room was on the fourth floor which is completely fine with me and I was told about this ahead of time but just keep that in mind if you have mobility issues.

The location was fabulous , so much going on . It was rowdy on times but for us this didn't bother us we took our ear plugs and after all the walking, we were exhausted at the end of the day and the beds were so comfy ! We had a 3 bed accomation which was great for us as friends being able to stay in the same room as one another ! The rooms were very basic but I think as long as you don't mind that then it was perfect !

There could have been more options for snacks / alcohol at the front desk quite limited but this is just down to personal preferences some one might not care about this as there are so many great options for resturants and snacks on the door step of the hotel !
