The location is spot on and close to allot of attractions, train station etc really comfy bed. Nice big shower with good water pressure and heat option. In a quieter area making for good sleep and little disturbance from outside noise. Breakfast selection is fantastic also. The basket of umbrellas by reception is a nice touch for when it’s raining. Climate control for room is great. Had an issue with booking as for some reason when making the booking it selected one adult when 2 were staying so breakfast was only paid for one. The hotel understood and could see from my previous booking where breakfast for both was included . Long story short they rectified this issue promptly and both me and guest got breakfast.

Check in time is far too late. I would really consider moving the time forward from 15:00hrs to something like 13:00hrs. This would make your hotel much more attractive to travellers and give a greater impression for those who have had a long travel or need to just get in the room to rest.

The room was nice and big. The extra bed was not a pull out and very comfortable. The shower was excellent. Location was good as most attractions were within a 30 mins walk. There was no need for public transport. They also offered Taxi service to the airport at a fixed 75 Euro rate which was good.

Steep Staircase leading to room No8 makes it difficult for older people and for those with big luggage. Bottled Water and Chocolates are only provided on the first day. You are expected to drink tap water (which was safe but something we were not used to). Other hotels i have been to always provided the basic bottled water. Sealing at the bathroom door could use some improvement as the space outside the bath always got wet an dteh foot rug provided is always damp due to this. Room cleaning services were always carried out in the late afternoon and sometimes when we came back after tiring outing we would need to wait for the room to be cleaned

The location was excellent and everything was right on your doorstep. Centraal Station was just a 10/15 minute walk. The staff were courteous and always very helpful. Was slightly worried when I felt the softness of the bed it would cause me back trouble but no, they are very comfortable beds and slept very well. The breakfast buffet options were plentiful and very well presented. It was a very stylish hotel with some wonderful artworks and the bar had a lovely cosy atmosphere.

The rooms were rather on the small side but then it is a converted period property. Particularly the bathroom was very cramped as a 6ft person. Also very few places to put your clothes away.

The beds are very comfortable, The location is perfect- right near Dam square and the red light district with plenty of bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Showers are amazing, and the Breakfast was great! the lady that runs it is absolutely outstanding, she does the job of 4 people. Staff were pretty good everywhere to be fair, nice warm welcome at check in from the young lady from Birmingham.

The bathroom - luckily we’re a couple that have been together a while and we’re very comfortable with each other, because the bathroom gives no privacy whatsoever for any toilet action.

the location was perfect as it was close to everything we wanted to do/see- it was only a 20-30 min walk max to the furthest events. the hotel room was very clean and cozy and had every facility that you could want such as the bathroom/shower room/hairdryer/tv/chocolates :)/tea and coffee, and a change of towels almost everyday which was amazing. the room was also easily accessible by the elevator and stairs also :)))).

everything was perfect (the only thing that was a little difficult to get used to was the stairs as they were so steep which we weren’t used to- really sorry we’re English :’)- but wasn’t a problem at all as there was the elevator to use too)!

Lovely recently refurbished premises in an amazing location. Friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was great, with a good selection of cooked options, pastries, fruits and cereals. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the shower was really good too. I also liked the decor, which was modern, yet interesting. There was also a complementary mini bar, however this wasn't refilled. Still it's better than many, who charge for anything from the mini bar.

The room was fairly noisy. To be fair they did provide ear plugs, however i'd rather not have to wear them. I'm not sure if we were just below a working part of the hotel, or just people who didn't seem to sleep much and enjoyed walking around their room at all hours. There was also a fair amount of noise from outside (especially on the Friday and Saturday evenings. This is to be expected when staying in such a central location, however the windows didn't insulate the sound particularly well. We also found having the sink in the actual bedroom (as opposed to the bathroom) a little odd, but the rooms are not huge and this was a necessary compromise to fit in a good sized shower.

We loved the cozy charm of our room at Mister Highland. Despite being a bit on the smaller side for a double, the space was thoughtfully designed. The bed? An absolute dream to sleep in—super comfortable! The shower was surprisingly spacious, making mornings feel luxurious. The cleaning crew deserves a special mention for their impeccable service, and the staff? Always ready with a smile and helpful advice. Location-wise, this hotel is a gem! A short 5-minute walk takes you to the city's top spots, and if you're up for a stroll, three museums are just 25 minutes away. Plus, having two shopping streets right outside and plenty of mini-markets nearby was incredibly convenient.

While the room had its charm, it did feel a bit tight for two people. The breakfast, though delicious, was a bit lacking in variety—likely due to the small dining area. It left us wishing for a few more options to start the day.

The staff did a wonderful job at making sure that my boyfriend's birthday surprise was so nicely set up for when we arrived. Really Enjoyed the personal touches! The room was beautifully decorated, modern, and cozy, and I loved all of the lighting features. Nearby recommendations were given to us for late night dinner options just 5-10min walking in the lovely neighborhood nearby. The location was close to central station, ideal for us as we needed to travel to Schipol early the next day. Will definitely come back here when I can stay for longer!

The room was a bit small although very nicely decorated. It was be great to have a bigger bathroom.

The location for this hotel was perfect, as it’s right in the centre of everything. Most attractions are an easy walk away. The complimentary drinks and snacks in the room were a nice touch. Breakfast was good, with plenty of food options including pancakes, sausage, mushroom, and bacon. I enjoyed the coffee machine, with the choice of making a cappuccino, latte macchiato, or hot chocolate. In my experience, The staff at the front desk were pleasant and professional. The lift/elevator was very appreciated as the stairs can be a little tricky, as Dutch stairs tend to be. The hotel also has its own restaurant open for lunch, but I did not partake.

I would have given this hotel a higher rating had it not been for the bed. I had a single bed, but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Had the mattress been better, I would give a higher rating. The bathroom took some time to get used to as it was the size of an airplane lavatory, but that was not a major issue.

Overall excellent stay. Staff polite and helpful. Location was great: close to the metro -walking distance (and thus airport), walking distance to the centre, main attractions etc. Lots of restaurants around. Comfortable beds. Breakfast, while not a huge buffet, was absolute fantastic.

Everything was perfect. Architecture is typical Amsterdam one and as such rooms & bathroom are a bit on the small size. But this was not a problem, it is traditional. There were fitted carpets on the floor, in contrast to the pictures which seem to show hard floor.
