Staff were friendly and the facilities were clean, good location in the city centre

Our room was as far as it could be and there were always rubbish bags outside and around our door from the cleaners and cleaning cupboard (which was never closed) Not the best view, which can be understandable within Amsterdam due to the architecture but I had explained prior to coming, this was a surprise 40th my my partner and I emailed prior to arriving asking for a banner and a balloon or some flowers, just an additional touch (offered to pay of course) but nothing was done or even a mention of a happy birthday at the front desk (I was a little disappointed as I put lots of planning into so many little surprises)

The hotel was in the perfect location - right next to Rokin Metro station and the tram - and 15 mins walk from Centraal station. The journey from Schipol airport took 17 mins . The canal was right in front of the hotel - with loads of lovely cafes,shops convenience stores, and cash machines less than 2 mins away .. We were also very close to some tourist attractions - Madame Tussaud's, the Amsterdam dungeon and red light district, and 10 mins walk from the Gay bars and clubs The reception had 24hr free tea and coffee making facilities and our room was funky with a modern bathroom and good shower ..

We stayed there for 4 days - my only slight criticism would be that although there was a funky plank with hooks to hang a few items there was no wardrobe or chest of drawers to put clothes and cases out of sight .. but everything else was perfect

In a perfect location, really nice rooms & bathrooms. Need a key card to enter the property or need to be let in by reception so really secure It was my partners birthday during our stay and the staff decorated our room and also got my partner a birthday card which was lovely

We stayed during a heat wave, we had 2 windows in our room that used a pin system to stay open. We also had a fan but it just pushed the warm air round the room due to no cold air breeze. No fault of the hotel but aircon would have been better

Great location and really friendly staff! Made us feel so welcome so thank you! The rooms were small but most places in Amsterdam are and it was perfect size for a 3 day city break! The free coffee machine was a lovely touch. Should definitely have more stars!

Only downside (like many places in the city) very steep stairs and no lift, although it did not affect us. There was an unpleasant smell on entry to the hotel which at first did make us worry about the rooms but they were perfect, on first impression this might help to add air fresheners.

Fair price for Amsterdam. Located on main street and a bit further from the station, so you're in the middle of a lot of food and shopping choices + closer to the bars and clubs. Staff left clean towels (in a bag) on the door handle when putting 'do not disturb' which was a nice touch. Staff are friendly.

The window doesn't stay open on it's own (plus birds hang out right outside and you don't want a bird in your room) so I had to leverage the bathroom fan a lot to get fresh air. Initially room smelled wet and gave my friend allergy symptoms. No airconditioning (not the biggest deal as temperature was okay during my stay).

The staff are absolutely fantastic and cannot do enough for you. They were really helpful and really friendly. The hotel has a nice atmosphere and has lovely interior. The location of this hotel is perfect. Such a reasonable price for the location you get!

The only thing I would suggest is somewhere to hang your clothes. even just some floating shelves or hooks with hangers. There is no wardrobe or draws so you have to live out of your suitcase - which is fine for a few days but would be nice to hang nicer clothes

Great location by Rokin Station and very close to the city centre, making it easy to access wherever you wish to visit in Amsterdam. Central Station is a pleasurable walk away (15-20 minute walk). The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They offered to store our luggage after we checked out to explore more of the city before heading back to Schiphol Airport.

Shower door did not cover the whole way down, leading to water spilling out over the floor. There was a lack of space to hang your clothes - enough for one person but not two. Window could not shut all the way down, so it was noisy at night.

Perfect location, around 15 minute walk from Centraal station & Museumplein. The aesthetic of the room was plain and simple, no view from our window - however very clean, nice bathroom. We didn’t find it too noisy, only the odd coo from nearby pigeons. Polite and helpful staff, who issued me with a hairdryer on arrival. Free tea & coffee is available in the reception area. Only issue is our double was two twins pushed together but it wasn’t the end of the world!

The room appeared impeccably clean and furnished with modern amenities. The hotel's location, not far from both the train station and the city center, proved to be convenient. Furthermore, the hospitality demonstrated by the hotel owner was notably friendly. Overall, I was very happy with my stay.

The view from the window wasn't ideal, instead of a pleasant sight, all I saw was a brick wall from the adjacent building.

I got the side front view room 3rd floor, good position not as busy as city centre, heated well, hot shower and free coffee at any hour.

It might be difficult to reach 3rd floor if you have back or leg issues, table room is small and unstable, missing luggage stand, missing soap holder in the shower, bed is not comfortable as it’s a two single bed with a queen topper
