For those who book this hotel - a stone in Booking's garden, it is better to do it on the official website of the hotel, since the amenities in the room are incorrectly indicated (hair dryer, coffee machine, bathroom accessories), as well as the lack of an elevator, yes, you can ask for a hair dryer at the reception until 21:00, and coffee only in the lobby for an additional fee (not included in the room price, as is the case in most hotels in the Netherlands). So in general, if you remove these shortcomings, the hotel was liked both for its location and a certain individuality

The hotel staff are the best, all of them, no exceptions. Polite, respectful, and accommodating. I had an unexpected issue with the room I booked, and I brought that to their attention after getting into the room. I was instantly accommodated with an upgraded room without any hesitation or nonsense arguments, they were completely honest and fair. I am completely satisfied with their action and attitude. In addition, I find the hotel unique, clean, and fun (with the free club access). Great location too.

I don't have anything I don't like. There is a club at the hotel, I knew that, I brought earplugs, and the sound was not that bad initially. All is good and I slept very well.

The staff was super friendly, and helpful, and made sure we was comfortable.. I couldn't fault the staff. My reviews of the room reflect the 2nd room, not the original one booked.

The room we booked I didn't realise that no windows was no fresh air, we tried the first night but was a struggle to breath in the room by 2nd day, and no way to access fresh air without leaving the room/building, however, after a breif conversation with staff at reception they swiftly gave us another room and immediately we was comfortable, so even though the 1st room wasn't comfortable for us, the staff made sure that we enjoyed the rest of the stay in a more comfortable room.

The room was great. Super interesting with the furniture and aesthetics. The bed was incredibly comfy, very pleasant sleep. The shower is nice and big. Hot/warm water was available in both the shower and the sink which is great. We went out for the day and came back to fresh towels. The staff are very lovely and super helpful and informative to any questions you have. Air conditioning is also available and worked very well. The curtains are blackout curtains so if you struggle to sleep with light coming in, there you go!

The dark room makes dust very visible. As we all know, dust lives everywhere, no matter what you do! The 'TV' is a projector which made the quality slightly awful but it was bare-able!

Great location not in the centre of the busy city but still very easy to access anywhere you want. A quick tram ride to the south to the Heineken factory etc, and quick walk towards the centre. Bed was very comfortable, the duvet was lush. It was a huge room considering the location! Plenty of room for suitcases and walking around. The toilet was separate which was a great bonus, and had a really nice air freshener in. We could store our bags securely before and after check in/ out and we had complimentary beer and water everyday for our room. The little courtyard connected to our room (shared by one other room to my knowledge) was a gorgeous little place to relax. The complimentary welcome pack was a huge bonus too, lip balm (which was great for chapped lips!), mints, stropwaffles and more. Compared to lots of other accommodation in Amsterdam, this is brilliant value for money, location and comfort. Restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops and more are less than a minute walk away too, as well as bigger brand shops too, so there’s something for everyone. It’s opposite a beautiful canal too so walking out in the morning you have a lovely view! The hairdryer was also a bonus for drying hair before going out into the cold! Also very easy to find the property

Not an issue for us at all, however just to note that the shower is in the room so you don’t have privacy when you’re in there. The lighting was a bit confusing (there are multiple switches for multiple lights) but it’s easy to figure out

Location was great Modern and cool and stylish Comfortable bed we stayed in le noir Albright the dark style was perfect perhaps maybe there should be an optional bigger light as when getting ready in the evening it did prove a little harder to see

We feel although we had a great time perhaps the property could have been slightly cleaner and where there is no parking we understand we had to use other places however I do feel a discounted price with the car park would make it more attractive

Best location you could ask for! (Especially if you haven’t been to Amsterdam before, it’s very easy to navigate the city from this point) Staff were beyond lovely and helpful. Rooms looked fantastic and were very clean.

We stayed in the ‘Noir’ room which is underground. There is also a shower in this room which is a lovely feature but these things combined made it very hot in the room and the aircon was quite weak. I would choose a different room next time for this reason.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The lady at reception truly went out of her way to make sure everything went well, offered coffee and water on arrival, and was very kind and helpful. I cannot thank her enough. The location is very central, the bed was comfortable and the wifi worked well.

I would stay again, but next time I will book a room with a desk as well - the bed was super comfortable but occupied most of the room - I did not realise that I would not be able to work - but this is my fault for not checking the photo in the booking.
