Very convenient location, really lovely and helpful staff, really big room, nice shower, basic but just what we needed, allowed luggage store before and after check in and out, nice building, lots of extra information for tourists

The hotel is perfectly located in Amsterdam—close to multiple tram lines and just a short walk from the metro. It had easy self-check-in and an incredibly welcoming staff. Ryan, the General Manager (I believe), was super responsive to any questions I had and just as kind in person. Another gentleman on-site was also friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Though I originally booked a single room, I think they upgraded me to a double. It was still pretty simple, but I appreciated the extra space. My room had a kettle, with tea/creamer/sugar (and coffee machine) available downstairs until 11pm. Overall, a solid stay and great value for the price.

Like many others have mentioned—the stairs are very narrow. I only had a backpack, and even that was a bit of a squeeze, so I can’t imagine maneuvering them with a full suitcase. Also, the “desk” in my room was more of a high-up shelf than an actual workspace. Since it was fixed to the wall at an awkward height, it worked better for storing things than as a working desk.

The location is excellent, and the staff was wonderful. They did not offer a breakfast, but had great coffee, and a fridge that guest could use. There was a grocery store, quite literally next-door. If you end up on the fourth floor like us, which is actually the fifth floor in the US, it is a very narrow, tight and tall people need to watch their head. They were super helpful getting our luggage upstairs though. Once they rebooted the router, the Wi-Fi was excellent. It takes about three blocks to get out of the more residential area and into the more tourist/shop/restaurant area. About a 25 minute walk to the absolute center at the train station.

For me, the bed was quite hard. Being on the 4th–5th floor was quite the climb, and up a staircase. Initially, the Wi-Fi was very poor, but once they, we started the router, all of our problems resolved.

I want to share our experience with our stay. First, the location was excellent – it was in the city center but in a very quiet area, which was crucial for us as we were traveling with a small child who doesn’t sleep well with noise. The hotel was clean, very warm, and the staff was extremely friendly, helping us with every request we had. And what’s especially important is that when we left the hotel, we couldn’t take our stroller with us because we had left it at the reception, which was closed. Our tickets had changed, and we had to leave the hotel very early. However, later, the hotel staff member, Ryan Xie, to whom I am incredibly grateful, sent our stroller to us by post. Saying I’m satisfied would be an understatement – I am deeply grateful to both the hotel and its staff.

The hotel room was way more spacious than it looked like in the photos! And also more modern. We were positively surprised by this. It is located further from the centre, but the trams and a metroline are close (also easy access to/from the airport). The area isn't so crowded, but there are a lot of restaurants. A good grocery store almost just downstairs. A communal kitchen downstairs, so you can enjoy your own meals there. Staff was nice and helpful.

Please note that there is no elevator and the stairs are narrow and steep - normal to Amsterdam. Not a problem for us with just hand luggage. In the summer note, there is no A/C. Someone drank my fresh orange juice from the communal fridge 😄 I think by mistake, because everything else survived there 😄 We lived on the top floor, so if we forgot to leave something to the downstairs frigde, it meant some excescise for us to get it since there was no fridge in the room 😄

Absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived until the time we left, everything was top-notch. Ryan- manager, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the room was immaculate and comfortable, and the amenities were superb. The hotel's location was also ideal, offering easy access to all the major attractions. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly exceptional experience.

The staircase is really steep. Opt for first floor if you have a heavy suitcase, but for backpackers, should not be a problem.

Value for money is excellent. We arrived late on the first night but the staff extremely accommodating. I was too hungover to eat so can't comment on breakfast, but hotel is clean and comfortable.

nothing, everything was fine, I'm only typing now because you're site has a minimum character level. This is something I don't like, it's very irritating and would put me off leaving any more .

Perfect little hotel with real Dutch Brownstone appeal. Perfect location with-in walking distance to all the aspects that make Amsterdam so beautiful. Short stroll to all the museums and Vondel park. Quiet location oozing charm. Communication was exceptional. I had a long flight delay and arrived very late and they were super understanding and accommodating. The staff were helpful and kind and the rooms neat, tidy and clean.

I like this hotel a lot. The staff is really helpful and kind. They go out of their way to do whatever you need. The location is amazing--right next to a park, tram station and grocery store. Walking distance to anything you might want to see in the city. The stairs are a little uncomfortable to climb, but the staff carried my overly heavy bag all the way up and all the way down again. Very kind of them.

I don't really have any complaints. I suppose the bottled water in the lobby could be cheaper.

Hotel was a five minute walk from main party square but also out of the way of the very busy streets .....rooms were clean and next to supermarket with a kitchen and fridge to use ,was handy on saving pennies on all the delicious food options . But what made it was the staff Ryan was amazing and was the biggest help and with a beautiful attitude he was the talk of the guests because of his hospitality. Suzie on desk also a doll I would go back just for staff made me feel happy and safe as a solo traveller
