The reception staff were very helpful & friendly. The location on the #17 tram route to & from Central station meant there was excellent access to anywhere you wanted to go. The Rijksmuseum was not far away for a walk or by tram #3. Vondelpark also close by. Cafes for breakast nearby as well as a good selection of restaurants. There is a bit of street noise, but if you don't mind sleeping with closed windows, it is not too bad. The room I had was very comfortable in size & amenities and clean.

In the warm weather a lighter blanket or just top sheet would be good to have as the doona is too warm.

The location was excellent. Walking distance to majority tourist attractions in Amsterdam city. Close to lots of food. Rooms are clean and tidy. Beds quite comfortable too.

The air con wasn't working and was unable to open a window... in June... quite warm. We did have a portable fan, which helped to move the air around.

The location was excellent. 20 minute walk to the square, train station 30mins. Good area, trams if required ran outside for easy links area the city. Reception staff were fabulous !

The heating. We visited in January and to be expected it was cold. The room had a lovely wall to ceiling window which would be lovely in summer but in winter it left the room a little chilly. It was warmer in the corridor than our room with the heating on - it felt more like air con though than actual heat being circulated around the room.

Funky communal lobby with tea and coffee facilities. It was in a residential area outside Amsterdam's main canal arcs, so quiet. Close to the gorgeous Vongels Park and 10 minute walk to Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum but equally easy to turn to the central touristy canal area. Nice receptionist who recommended a good Italian restaurant. We left our luggage there after check out, free of charge, so we had a good old stroll without them. Room very clean. Nice bedding. Tea and coffee though only 2 teabags and both herbal (ok by me but may disappoint tea drinkers).

We had a triple room and it was a bit cramped, with limited storage space for luggage with the bed-chair set up.

Close proximity to the main center, bus and tram, everything one needs to organize oneself in the city. Super kind staff. Close to parks, so it's easy to go for a morning run. Relatively close to museums and event venues.

Windows could be better insulated, but it's true that it was windy and rainy with temperatures oscillating all the time, so it felt like the bathroom window had an issue. I stayed in a room where there was no desk so it was a bit harder to work, needed to use chair as desk to do my work, but as I looked the plan, this was the case with corner rooms.

Great location, clean, good beds and nice staff. We were 6 persons travelling together and had 3 rooms, we requested rooms close to each other which we got and we could check out later.

Would be nice having a coffee maker in the room.

Staff was helpful. A good location did not have to go far for restaurants or sightseeing.

The location of the toilet paper dispenser/holder in the room I occupied. It was located next to the toilet, not a great location. It rubbed against my leg. I think it would be in the way for a large or wide body individual. Television was too small for my viewing. Would recommend that the coffee be free, instead of costing one euro.

Nice hotel in a great location near the museums and Vondelpark. All the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a good sized triple room. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of restaurants nearby. Lidl and several AH stores within a few minutes walk. Very convenient for bus from airport to Leidseplein. Would stay again.

I was slightly worried before arriving at the hotel after reading the most recent reviews. But honestly the hotel was fine. It’s clean, tidy and is within walking distance to everything. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful with directions, and allowed us to check one of our rooms in early as we were a big group and had lots of bags. The rest of us checked in after exploring a little bit of Amsterdam.

The windows don’t open and there is no air conditioning. The room got a little hot whilst getting ready but it didn’t ruin our stay as we didn’t spend a lot of our time in the rooms.
