We stayed in the family room on the top floor, and it was quite suitable for staying with our two children. Watching the street from the window in the evening was quite enjoyable. Offering free coffee service was really a nice touch. Although it was a bit of a walk to the city center, having a market nearby was a big advantage.

The heater in the room was a bit noisy. If you're sensitive to sound, it might disturb you at night. Although the room was generally clean, a bit more attention could have been paid to cleanliness.

Very conveniently located. Close to Rijksmuseum and trams. Room was decently clean. It was nice that there was free coffee and tea at the lobby and in the room. Staff was nice and present all day. Room had ac which was nice since we were there during a heat wave.

Our room just had a view of a roof. There is no elevator, so do not recommend if you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage. Also wish there might have been more shelfs like in the shower for example.

About 35 min walk from central station or catch the tram around the corner which makes the journey about 10-15 mins. Two bike hire shops very close by including the hotel's hire option. Big shower - with movable shower head. Quiet and comfortable. Very friendly and informative reception staff. Very quick response to email questions. The bus stop to the airport is only a short walk away which is ideal.

I wanted milk for my tea - in the room, but there was only creamer. The hotel only offers bike rental with a 50 euro cash deposit, but I didn't want to take cash out, so they advised going to a local very close by shop. The information was very helpful.

We love the unique aspect of staying in the attic of a carriage house and learning about how the building used to be used for old police runs in the city. Not to mention it was superably quiet at the top floor in the bathroom. Bathrooms were impeccably clean (and looked recently renovated!).

Unfortunately, there is no elevator so we did have to climb four floors to our top floor. Not as big of a deal if you have a carry-on, but be aware if you have a big luggage that you will want a lower-floor room.

The room was a nice size, to get to the room from the lobby was a bit tricky, there was a big window but it only looked out to another room with a window. The front desk staff were friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage in the lobby since our train didn't leave for a few hours of the time we checked out of the hotel room.

The location of the actual room, it was out the terrace down the stairs and to the back where there was some kind of construction happening.

The room was perfect. There were four of us and this room on the top floor had four beds. (perfect, right?) The front desk gals spoke perfect english and were very helpful and accommadating. We would stay here again, no problem.

There is no elevator. We had five bags for a 14-day cruise! 5-bags went up in the afternoon and 5-bags came down in the morning. On the way down, the four of us formed a fire line, so Dad did not die in the bag transfer. Makes sense there was no elevator because of the historical naute of the building, it just caught me off guard.

Great value for the price, be smart if you are cooming for 3 days, buy 3 day card for transportation orI Amsterdam card, therefore location is perfect. You can walk to the centre too, its apx 25 minutes. Store is next to the hotel.Tram station is 5 minutes from hotel. Room was clean, comfortable and warm enough. There is byke parking in courtyard, that was usefull. They cleaned room every day and changed the towels

Beds were a bit soft and in twin room the bed was not queen sized.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. They didn't mind us using the small lobby for sitting and visiting since there wasn't space in the rooms for that. The rooms were clean and kept up. The beds were comfortable. Our room had very high ceilings but that was not the case in our friends' rooms. Bathroom and shower were good. We rented bikes from the hotel which was convenient. The location is very good for public transportation and for walking to key attractions.
