Room could do with slim wardrobe With drawers. Hanging space next to light and coffee machine not adequate. Also coffee machine not very good The room is very small so no space ( not even a fold down table ) or to put your things on . I think you need to warn people if their room has stairs to it . Could be big problem. Second night I could hear straight through to next room coughing snoring. No windows to open for air

Everything! The staff were fantastic, friendly and made us feel comfortable from the start. They were happy to provide extra blankets and the room was immaculate and comfortable. Nice touch with the snacks and tasty water at reception (which I was obsessed with). Ideal location and surprisingly quiet.

Unfortunately the pressure from the shower was very poor and there was no hot water for the first 2 days. This was uncomfortable in the cold weather but luckily the room was nice and warm with the heating. However, we do understand how the cold weather could have affected the boiler. Though, the water pressure was sadly not improved when the hot water had been fixed.

The heating in the room is very loud and without it turned on it gets cold fast. Also you can hear every sound coming from the hallway and rooms that are close by

We always got a friendly greeting from reception when we entered/exited the building. The location is great - within walking distance of museums and restaurants. If you want to reach anywhere else, the tram stop is just around the corner. The lobby has several convenience items for purchase - beverages, wine, snacks - and there's a communal microwave. The rooms have mini-fridges and coffee machines.

While there technically is a (very small) elevator, you always have to do at least one set of stairs to get to your room. Plus, the staircases are steep, with narrow little steps. While not a problem for me personally, I would rate this hotel low on 'accessibility'. I doubt a wheelchair could even fit in the elevator. I would equate the layout of the hotel to a tight maze. But I would guess most buildings in Amsterdam are narrow and tall like this one, so I'm probably being unfair. But that's just my impression from a first-time Amsterdam visitor.

A lovely hotel at a great location. The beautiful Vondelpark is just a couple minutes away and the city centre is not far either, just a few minutes by the public transport or a nice walk over the many canals. Our room was on the 4th floor and while it was facing the busy street, we didn't mind it at all. Since the streets in the city all look really nice, we enjoyed the view. All the staff at the reception were super friendly and helpful, as was the cleaning maid we met a couple times. The room was clean and was tidied up every day, all the necessary hygienic products were included, had a tiny fridge, and above all that there were also comfortable slippers, an iron and ironing board for those who might need it, and a few small helpful kits (vanity, sewing and shoe polishing). We appreciated the free small bottle of wine and bottles of water and especially the coffee machine and the coffee and tea that were refilled every day. The hotel also has a nice terrace where you can relax with a cup of coffee or tea any time. Overall our stay was excellent!

I had a lovely stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect — close to everything I needed and easy to get around. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I also really appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was throughout the property. The room itself was on the smaller side, and being on the 4th floor, it had smaller windows, so there wasn’t as much natural light as I’d hoped. But overall, it was a comfortable space and had everything I needed for a short stay. I’d definitely consider coming back, especially for the fantastic location and warm hospitality.

The staff is amazing. everyone was nice and welcoming. The location of the hotel was also really good, close to the Vondelpark, and in a beautiful central neighbourhood. Our windows were above the garden, so we had a pretty quiet stay. also, there's a supermarket and tram stations nearby, and a lot of city sights are in a walkable distance.

The cleanliness could have been a little better, especially during the stay - we stayed for more than a week, and we did expect them to vacuum at least once in two days. Also, in our room the water pressure was very low - they did offer to change the room, but the water pressure in the other room wasn't much better and he was smaller, so we managed.

The hotel was in an excellent position for sightseeing and trams. It was very clean and the staff really friendly. Good size rooms. We also had a complementary small bottle of wine, water and 2 very lovely chocolates, a great start to any holiday!!!

Our room did not have a secondary set of windows so the sound of traffic was very loud, but I don't think you can help that in a city. The hotel had already placed ear plugs in the room, so not really a complaint, more just something to be aware of.

Close to the tram which takes you right in the heart of Amsterdam . Walking distance to the museum area as well . Property has a courtyard . Decent spread of breakfast . The staff was very nice .

The stairs to reach the room were quite unique . The lift got you to the floor but then there was these stairs which had to be used for reaching your room. .quite tricky stairs if I may add ! Room is basic . The bathroom is cozy for sure . As a feedback - The pillows definitely need to go . The shape and the size of them is very random and it gave me a bad neck pain .

I appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the fact that the hotel had all the amenities I needed for my one-night stay. The staff were also very helpful and friendly, and while the location was a bit outside the city center, it was conveniently located near restaurants and public transport. They also had convenient vending machines available, and the purchases could be easily added to our hotel bill.

The bed pushed against the wall, which meant that the person sleeping next to the window had no bedside table or anywhere convenient to put their belongings. The shower also had a design flaw, causing water to splash all over the bathroom floor. Cleanliness was also a concern for me. There was noticeable dust throughout the room, and I found someone else's hair in the shower. Additionally, the fabric-covered corridors leading to the rooms had a musty, dusty smell.
